Is Lift a Forbidden Target?
Stormtide_Leviathan replied to Aspiring Writer's topic in Cosmere Discussion
Oh! For some reason I thought you meant like, a ghostblood in the RoW prologue who was using atium somehow. Okay that makes more sense. I still didn't remember that he used atium against the noble but that's way less shocking, okay- 68 replies

So as RoW proved, Singer forms come from nahel bonds with spren in their gemheart. Lifespren for mateform, windspren for nimbleform, etc. We've also seen that Radiant bonds with highspren act differently when the spren is corrupted. So what happens when Singers bond a corrupted lowspren? Do they produce new forms? Old forms with slightly different abilities? We've seen forms of power, but those seem to come from true spren of odium, not just corrupted spren. This is even something that could have happened in previous desolation, unlike the corrupted radiants, because Sja-Anat has been able to corrupt low spren forever.

Scadrian vs. Rosharan magic post RoW

He has compounding. For every single metal. He is insane. So as long as he has access to metals he can ingest, he has access to infinite stores of speed, and strength, and healing, and so much more. Even without his feruchemy, he is the most powerful mistborn who's ever been born. And with it he can compound nicrosil to be even more powerful. And he's had literally 1000 years to practice with all of his abilities, separately and together. If there is anyone who could pull on Blades, it's him. I'd bet on the lord ruler against basically any mortal in the cosmere (vin was lucky that she had a Shard on her side). Even if someone had Nightblood, he could probably beat them before it becomes an issue.- 1816 replies

I know she thinks of her enlightened spren as her children, but what does she think of their radiants? Are they also her children? Her childrens' best friends who come over to the house all the time? Her childrens' pet racoons they found on the street and want to keep?

Yeah I saw the second one on tumblr a few days ago. They drew a different version without Sja-Anet but I prefer this one personally

Brandon's said before that skybreakers can follow any code, as long as their spren is okay with it, with a Mafia code as an example. I wonder if we could see a ghostblood skybreaker- 68 replies

Where do we watch the stream? Live that is? -
I find it hard to believe that in,,, 10,000 years or however old he is he's never encountered an ace person before. Especially since we know as per WoB that Roshar has a good amount of ace folk. The singers as a race tend to be very asexual when outside of mateform, and because of that their descendants like herdaziens and horneaters have higher ace populations than we do. Also have we ever gotten any indication that Hoid doesn't date men? Personally, I've always thought of him as pan. He's just got a vibe.

I doubt it would be toggleable normally without removing the spike. No other hemalurgy we've seen works that way. I don't see any reason you wouldn't be able to toggle it if you have f-tin though. But yeah, I'm still wondering how it works overall. Does it change how your sense work? Give you a new sense that works that way? Just enhance your old sense?

You. You get it. A-Steel and F-tin. F-tin, because...I mean...isn’t it obvious? It’s the most versatile Ferring metal and assists you in pretty much every scenario you could think of. A-steel because you can reverse compound steelsight for super investiture sense, and you can FLY which is awesome. Plus, murder coins are lit. I agree. They both are really cool metals on their own, have really cool interactions together, and are both extremely useful in both mundane and extraordinary circumstances.

So about tin feruchemy. Operating under the assumption that you can steal senses from animals (not confirmed, but I'd be surprised if you couldn't)... how does that work? Like if I kill an owl for its eyesight (I'm going to hell for sure, but like. In the mean time) would it give me an increased range of vision even though my eyes don't operate in the same biomechanical way that allows for this? EDIT: I meant hemalurgy, not feruchemy. Though I guess maybe if you're fancy and know what you're doing you might be able to store range of vision?

F-tin and a-steel or a-iron could also be strong since they can store the blue line sight, but we should probably stop talking about f-tin before @Koloss17 becomes too powerful

I think it’s a very safe bet that any form of hrt for trans folk won’t use hormones like in our world but unkeyed goldminds, since we know they work this way -

Who? -
When? I’m pretty sure lift woke him up, and even had to renew him every 10 hours to keep him awake I think it’s a similar situation as to why 4th ideal radiants can still function. The fabrial tries to smother their connection, but the connection is strong enough to overpower the fabrial. Adhesion, being very close to honor and literally connection, is also enough to overpower it (which was why the wind runners were stirring, but not awake)
