  1. Not necesserly. Corpses are slightly Invested some time after death, because is possible to return to the corpse in some cases (example- Returned, Wax). There is also whole Perception thing - dead human is still, for some time, seen as human, not just meatbag. Also, again Nalthis - the more something reminds living shape, less Breaths is needet - so probably is using its own Innate Investiture. Investiture wants to be alive, so I think it sticks to the living things longer, even after their death.
  2. I think spores are tissue + Investiture, some semi-organic matter, and when Investiture is removed by Salt/Silver, it leaves tissue dead because dont have "soul" anymore, similar to Shardblade wound (cut off soul) or Nightblood (Investiture sucked from user). Maybe I misspelled my thoughts (English still is hard sometimes). I think this wounds are caused not just by Investiture, but also because natural (Innate) Investiture is removed from object/tissue. Work not just for body, because BioChroma leaves colour grey also.
  3. We dont know tone of this pink, tho. But Amethyst can also be pink https://abgold.pl/userdata/public/gfx/1064/2.jpg Shouldnt all dead Aethers be grey? This seems to be universal thing with tissue damaged by Investiture (Shardblade wounds, Nightblood vampiric traces, Shades wounds etc)
  4. I think: #2 is in Perfect State universe - here we can have really wierd crossovers stuff and is logical in-universe #3 I dont know #4 is Silence Divine or something around it. On Ashyn. I wanna see floating cities and lanmass in constant fire. And colors and stilization of cover matches.
  5. I think because Shadesmar is flat, so dont have curvature, and projectile would behave according to this. Shadesmar seems to have normal gravity in most parts.
  6. This can be exactly why this Island has settlement on it. Because there is no reason (beside salt mines) to settle there. But Island is comunication and transportation center (we know ships sail throu harbour all the time). Sure there are other saltmines on the planet, but clearly this island is very important - so important that must be constantly inhabitable. But I have another idea how this can work. Basicly there is salt water below Spore Oceans. Spores meet salt, die, and decay over time. They crumble to dust, then to vapor, basicly Investiture. This vapor is going up, to the respective moon (for whatever reason, maybe Aether Investiture wants to remain in Aether so when in pure form is pulled to the main body). So we would have Investiture flow on the planet, like on Roshar, but vertical, not horizontal.
  7. Only over, not on them? Probably nothing. But why you assuming spores and whatever grows from them, is compostable? This seems to me like pure Investiture constructs, not plants.
  8. Maybe they recycled like Atium does? Spores crumble into dust, and dust evaporates as pure Investiture, and returns to the respective Aether. Something similar to Stormlight Cycle on Roshar, just more hostile.
  9. Perpendicularity dont need to be from Specific Shard, its just vast amount of Investiture concentrated in one place. Considering fact around planet are orbiting 12 freaking moons filled with Investiture i think there is big chance for Perpendicularity somewhere on the planet. Maybe like on Threnody, is not stable and just pops in specific places in specific time. About technology. Khlenni on Scadrial were near to construct railroads, and that was over 1300 years ago (and all go to hell because of Lord Ruler), so it is not as unreasonable. Also on this planet progress can be slower, because many discoveries need water.
  10. In Cosmere is good for Worldhopper, removes all inwanted Investiture from body, and this makes user immune for every Investiture-based attacks (like Lashing, Soulcasting, AonDor etc)
  11. I think he dont thought about Ten types of Rosharan Radiant Spren. I think OP thinks that every Shard can form Spren... And he is right, but Spren is specific Rosharan term. More general term is Splinter, and indeed, every Shard can form Splinters, and we even know about them - Seons are Splinters of Devotion, and Skaze are Splinters of Dominion. But they can be named Spren in some circumatances (Shallan even did that), as well as Nightblood. BTW, is Nightblood Splinter of Endovment? or Ruin? or both?
  12. Second book is of course non-Cosmere book, have many Earths on cover, and Earth is not in Cosmere. First I thought (dream basicly) that it can be Rithmatist 2, but cover sugests something about Multiverse. Also dont match with any earlier Brandon books - wizard with gun in multiverse. Except one. I think this can be in Perfect State Universe. Book 4 I think can be on Ashyn.
  13. Preaty much this. If seas are salty enough to kill spores in them, they can exist in other parts of planet. Or they have underground seas.
  14. There seems to be some water-level tolerance when spores will activate. Air contains some water all the time, how many depends on many factors, can be more than 20g in 1m^3. But seems like only smog is causing problems, but they are only briefly mentioned, so are not very important.
  15. Probably you CAN'T do that for some reason. Or maybe people are afraid of activating them, because how inpredictable they are. I think there are real Oceans somwhere on the planet. On Earth, ocean water is SALTY. And warmer seas are more salty than colder. So there may be region when salty water seas exist, with all closed ecosystems. Plants can be also halophils in some regions.
  16. I would probably swap Mercy and Endovment, but all in all this is very refreshing approche, and I like it so much! Probably the most from all othher groupings.
  17. Actually, not the hard confirmation. But we know only one Vessel was Dragon - Korav/Cultivation, and we know Uli Daa (Ambition) was Sho Del. And also we know most Vessel were humans.
  18. Kaladin absorbed (or rather was given) power/Investiture other than standard Stormlight. He even mentioned later: "He (Odium) wants me". Yes, he want to die there. Moash knew that too, he even call it loud. Kaladin lose if he give up (to Odium or to live) but he cant have reason to fight, because he will be fighting - Kaladin is not man who willingly let other pierce him with the spear. And because Odium wants him, he would not let him die and will give him powers and will riot his survival instinct, when he is fighting, but cant controll him directly, so cant interfere if he would kill himself.
  19. I would laugh out lout at all theorethists here, if it turned out that Kelsier simply were given new, good proper body by Harmony, and was sent by him to the South to save Southerners (differently, to compare how this would work).
  20. I think there is very easy explanation. Moash is practicly directly connected to Odium. And thanks to this he knows Odium wants to Kaladin alive (for some reason) and will activly protect Kaladin.
  21. All of that, but without first and second sentence. I think Shards would be less physicaly involved in later stages of Cosmere, and this would leave just Imperium vs Imperium antagonisms, with wide Physical Realm Planetary Scadrian Empire with its colonies on planets and mining facilities on planetoids and asteroid belts, (I also think Nalthis will be allied with Scadrial) more mixed Cognitive-Physical Rosharan Empire, and Sel and Taldain as neutral powers.
  22. Dont think it would matter from who is Spike. Hemalurgy uses Ruins own Investiture to rip off stuff, store and place. So I would tell that no matter what is stored in Spike and from, it would decay the same, because is already converted into Ruins system.
