Almost. But Water God definitly will be related to Blood Essence, this is Essence of not - oil fluids, including Water.

Well, Nazh implies that there is a way to became sapient Shade due to some ritual. Nazh predates Evil, so we can assume Shades were Threnodite phenomen, separate from Evil. So if thete are rituals for Shade to have his conciousnes, then should be ways to get mindless Shade before Evil - they were Humans after all. So all Shades who were in Hell before Evil, were there before "Someone" activly, or passivly, made them.

This. Soulcasting takes A LOT of Stormlight. Jasnah at the Thaylen Fields was able to do what she did only because she was literaly inside the Perpendicularity. In normal circumstances there is no way Soulcaster would have amount of Stormlight suficient to change giant mases of matter more than few times.

First, when Shallan manifested Shardblade to kill Tyn, it was small for the Blade, second I remember reading that Shardblade in safe was stuck in the wall, not just lay there. But this is another problem - Davars aperently have very thick walls (or maybe it was external wall)

Will technologic advancement be stunted or accelerated?
Bzhydack replied to AltonicKeys's topic in Cosmere Discussion
@Isilel is right. Bicycles should be very usefull in Basin, because it is not very large region with good roads. Also, first bicycles didnt even have tires. Sure, is nice to have them, but bicycle is perfectly usable without them. -
It should be actually 30 metals, because 16 for Harmonium and another 14 for Atium (since we already know what 2 Atium alloys do)

Maybe even those Accords will be signed because of Dusk? Maybe we will see this exact action.

Maybe Patji is not dead god, but still is wierd to me that Autonomy or Taldain is not mention at all. Taldain supose to be one of more important forces in Cosmere and now we dont have anything about them. Is she dead? She chalanged Sazed and lost? Maybe this is what triggered Scadrian Expansion? Maybe Scadrian - Taldain all out war was first (First Cosmere War?) and Scadrial won. Second thing. I dont think we get other planets, maybe Dhatri, but I think we will see Silverlight at last. There are only few forces in Cosmere where Dusk can go for help. Yolen is one. Dhatri (and other Aether worlds) is second. Sel is third. Taldain is forth (if still exists). Nalthis is fifth. And Silverlight is another. And Silverlight is in Shadesmar, as main comunication center. So I hope for Silverlight.

They actually are Never saw one, but I know population of racoons is rising in Europe, in Poland too, they are very nasty invasive species. Spiking bugs could work very well. But I think ants would be better - they are able to much more complicated actions, and are less likely to be seen - because they dont generate sound. Rats are also good idea, we can also go for some unsuspicious bird, like pigeon, crow or magpie (or parrot in proper climate. But they are invasive species in Europe too).
-
It kinda can. Offworld souls are still thr same souls, even without that additional Investiture (wonder how good sunhearts would Nalthians made) as other humans. But other Investiture, more pure than souls, will give other effect. My bet is on Voidlight - relativly easy to obtain and Charred seems to be really charged with hatred.

This one get my attention. Mainly: Why Steelmind? From feruchemical properties, I would suspect that best metalmind for using as computers woild be either Copperminds (memory storage) or Zincminds (mental speed storage). Is this simply convinience? Steelmind stores Speed, so will be vital part of ship's drive, but why use it also as computer? BTW, when I learned about Scadrians Space Ships, many years ago, my theory was that ship itself is sort of alive, having hemalurgic spike in his main computer and.this is why can use Metaloc Arts. Seems like I was partialy right (they use Awakening, not Hemalurgy, but effect may be the same).

How do you thing they found out humans after death produce sunhearths? Definitly some of them died to the sun. They still have their initial ships, even if they were running on Investiture fumes they still should be able to run once or twice around this very small planet and find out about sunhearths. How they will know that if they didnt see dying to sunlight first? They couldnt know that outright, when they decided to settle there.

Some sort of Threnodite equivalent of Transportation Surge. We know Threnodites are able to leave planet in current time, we literaly met at least two of them. Maybe some sort of fabrial using Shades. They needet to have other power sources for ships when they leave Threnody, so some sort of Invested Technology was known to them. Indeed they may use something like Stargate (Shadegate?) to move into Shadesmar, and then navigate to strong source of Investiture in Shadesmar, then leave, only to realize they get trapped because they cant use this Investiture. This is very plausible - they needet to find fuel for ships, because in Shadesmar Investiture is scarce, so Zelin decided to go back to Physical Realm when they detect strong source of Investiture on other side.
-
But their engines cannot work in space! And they didnt mention anything about "forgotten technology". More even, they are certain they cannot fly high above surface and they are surpriced when Nomad mentions space ships. If they arrived on Canticle in space ship, they would have at least legend about "descending from stars" or something like this. Also, Chorus will mention this. Also, that will mean Threnody had space ferring technology before Evil, and this contradicts what we know about them. They traveled by flying vessels, but they didnt travel throu space. In my opinion, Shadesmar is more likely.
-
Why assume he wanted this? Canticle has no Perpendicularity. Will not be accesible from Shadesmar, until temporary one apear. If Threnodites fled by Shadesmar, then something forces them to go out on Canticle and they get stuck. If they were traveling by other means, they will get stuck too. Is very possible that Canticle wasnt main destination, but became one. Simply, it's a trap!

Is almost certain that outworlders know about hipothetical time dilatation, if it occurs. They needet to analyse planet during approaching and landing, they simply have to see evidence of time dilatation, especially Scadrians - for them time manipulation is something they are very familiar with. So maybe indeed and all of them dont care about that, but I dont see situation when space-ferring civilisation cant notice something like time dilatation.
-
Doesnt matter. Still they need to calculate this potential time dilatation, regardles of origin.
-
Im not specialist either, I simply know that.
-
But we dont know when Night Brigade was founded, and where. Seems like they originated on Threnody, but is also possible they are from Silverlight and were founded by Threnodites from this City. So maybe they were in some point part of 17th Shard and for some reason become mercenaries.
-
No way. We here on Earth need to compensate already in our satelites time dilatation, even so small. If Canticle have larger (what this topic sugests) Scadrians and Night Brigade needet to adjust their technology accordingly and it would be seen.
-
There is one very strong problem with this theory. Offworlders would notice it. Night Brigade soldiers would know if there is some abnormal time dilatation during comunications with their ship. And Scadrians would notice this too, especially if they have satelites around planet, what they may have.

Is it the same planet? (Yumi spoilers)
Bzhydack replied to The flying spider's topic in Cosmere Discussion
It was also my first thought. I think it is the same planet. But when it was, it is a different story.
