I'm glad there might be a print release for the novellas, I can't focus on audiobooks and ebooks never feel real for whatever reason. I wonder if all three would be released in one volume, or if it would be three separate books? -

For myself, I plan to put the pins on my backpack, and I'm contemplating saving the Edgedancer patch to put on a Bridge Four costume. This is the first time I've really understood the size of the coins, they really do look like the right size for fidgeting. I usually grab a quarter, but there's not a lot of variation there.

One year ago, when I put a shoe on my head and yodeled poorly, I had no idea what I was getting myself into. Now, I'm so glad I signed up.
I came for the book discussion, I stayed for the amazing people.

I know that's not even close to everyone, and I wish my brain had enough space and all the words needed to give everyone a shoutout. It's honestly crazy that I don't, I never expected that so many people would see the nonsense I post and decide that they want to see more of it. That's just... wild.
Yeah, I don't really know what else to say. Just that all of you are amazing, and I can't wait to see what the next year brings.

Have finished Uglies and also read Rush by Eve Silver. I absolutely did not make a point of reading those today so I can take The Shadow Rising to school tomorrow because it's massive, absolutely not.

Finished The Dragon Reborn, DNF'd So Long, And Thanks For All The Fish, and have started and am about halfway through Uglies by Scott Westerfeld. I've read it once before, but it was years ago, so I don't remember much of it.

Okay, I've been sitting on this for almost a week, and I need to get it out.
Last week, I woke up in a cold sweat after a nightmare. This itself is rare because I rarely dream, and it's even more rare that I have nightmares.
What was my nightmare, you ask? Take those creatures from A Quiet Place. I haven't seen the movie, but I've heard a lot about it and seen a few clips. Now, combine those with the character design of Venom, the symbiote. Again, haven't seen it, I just saw some promos. Finally, make the whole thing look like a six-foot-tall Gollum from Peter Jackson's Lord of the Rings. Got that nice and meshed into your brain matter? Let's keep going.
This creature that my subconscious came up with can sense motion, and has super speed. The only way to avoid it is to be dead silent and not move a muscle. It can't see you unless you move and make noise.
My dream started out with me roaming through a sunny, mountain forest. And it ended with me frozen in place, dead silent, as a motion-sensing Vollum creature slunk around me, waiting for me to move so it could kill me.
And then I woke up.
Someone comfort me?

What does he do? This isn't the YTP, he can't just use the command voice. Or can he? He doesn't know. "So you're just going to leave without talking to anyone? Just because I said something's wrong, you aren't going to verify it, you aren't going to investigate before making a plan?"

"Wait, wait, wait," Martin says. He knows that tone. He knows it all too well. He's heard it way too often before someone left and didn't come back. "Don't rush off and do something without thinking it through." He pulls his jacket close around himself.

"I don't know. I... You'd need to talk to Ayia, and I wouldn't... I wouldn't do that right now." She needs time.
