    I've read the first book, and haven't bothered to avoid spoilers. It looks pretty good. If I watch it, it'll probably be for the goat, to be honest.

    Constantly torn between the 'it's okay that I haven't quite figured out how to draw various features yet, I'm trying, and that's the important part', and the 'this absolutely sucks and I cannot get it right and I need to burn it before I get blacklisted for doing it wrong' parts of my art.

    I'm 'self aware' and 'well-adjusted', all that means is that I recognize that No. 2 is not a good way to think.  (Or plausible.)   It's a work in progress.  Much like my art.

    Martin shakes his head, and tries to push past it. He can't. "I think we might have a problem on our hands."

    Martin frowns. He feels... weird. It's like the post-mission crash, but... deeper, somehow. And even more wrong. "Hey, does anyone else feel that?" The words almost but not quite stumble over each other.
