    Finished An Ember in the Ashes. It was well written. I was a bit surprised at how fast paced it was. Also read Winter's Heart! I'm burned out on reading for the rest of the day, it was so good.

  17. Spren of Kindness
    Got through A Crown of Swords, which is probably my least favorite of Wheel of Time book so far, and The Path of Daggers, as well as Ruin and Rising, so now I'm done with Shadow and Bone. It was okay. I actually got a little emotional at the end, so I think it was pretty well done. Probably not going to read Six of Crows. I got An Ember in the Ashes and Light of the Jedi, both of which I've heard a lot about, so we'll see how good those are.

    The Hanging Tree from The Hunger Games. I wasn't expecting it to be so haunting. I've never seen the movie, so I don't know what's happening in the scene, but having more voices join in on the last verse (repeat?) really worked. Not at all coincidentally, I'm now back in my 'worldbuild by writing songs phase'.

    Guys, I went shopping today, and I got two - two - natural fiber blouses!  For under ten dollars!  No idea what the skirt is made out of, though.  The label's in Chinese.

      Well, my skirt might be a tablecloth.  But I still don't know what it's made of.  The characters are too blurry for the camera to pick up.

    That's the one! I found it on YouTube. The quality isn't the best, but it's okay. There's also a fan cut of it that did a pretty good job with what there was to work with. It's called the Dusty Wheel cut, I think? I bet. I can't stay up late enough for the weird stuff, though.
