  1. Do you think we could use the teeth? Look, that part wasn't up to me. Mostly.
  2. Nope, never Harry Potter for me. TPBM owns a candelabra.
  3. When you do this: So, I'm going to describe this very carefully. First, bring your arms level with your shoulders. Then, bring your elbows up forty-five to sixty degrees. Palms should be flat, facing the ceiling. Got it? Okay, moving on. Put your feet two... feet from each other, toes pointed out about thirty to forty five degrees. Knees should be bent twenty to forty-five degrees. If you can get to ninety, great. If you can't, don't hurt yourself. Now that you are in position, move one arm out, then in, keeping the palm up. Repeat on the other side, and continue doing so as you do shuffle your feet sideways, left or right, whichever way the exit is. Maintain eye contact with your sibling, friend, or whoever as you exit. This is the Crab Shuffle, and it is the best way to exit a room.
  4. Yeah, pretty much. I'm very sappy. TPBM has a cowboy hat.
  5. The Fall of Civilizations podcast. I watch the version with stock footage because I like having visuals. It's quite interesting, I like how the information is delivered. I watched the Assyrian episode a few months back, and now in the past few days I've watched the Fall of Roman Britain and the Bronze Age Collapse episodes.
  6. Yes. I've been rereading it over Christmas break for the last few years. If you had to pick one color to get rid of, what would it be and why?
  7. Nope. I've shot a BB gun once, and that's it. TPBM likes hiking.
  8. Yes! Hanging out with kids is awesome, and they don't mind if I'm awkward. What's your favorite scent?
  9. As a matter of fact, I rather am. @Shallan Stormblessed, thanks! Sometimes I have trouble recognizing me, I'm used to looking for blue. But it was time for a change! TPBM has driven a riding lawnmower.
  10. Not really? I like coming up with characters, but they usually come with the idea attached. TPBM likes squirrels.
  11. I've only read the first one. It was interesting though, and the way the story was structured was fun. Plugging away steadily at The Shadow Rising, with Dresden #5 and Howl's Moving Castle coming up. I've never actually seen the film, though I do know a little of the plot. So I'm interested to see what I think.
  12. Ones I know. Go Fish is fun, and I can enjoy Catan with the right people. Mostly table games, things like dodgeball and I don't get along too well. What is the coolest place you've ever been? (As in, whoa, this place is neat!)
  13. Anybody going to watch Artemis I launch next week?

    1. Channelknight Fadran

      Channelknight Fadran

Depends on whether or not I remember exactly when it launches

      If I do: yes

      If I don't: no

    2. The Bookwyrm

      The Bookwyrm

Not that I'm near it, but I will be following the whole thing virtually as closely as possible.

      The internet is great.

  14. Looks tricky. In a 'will trap you in your own words and by doing so trick you into signing your soul away' or something. What is the most complicated thing you've ever made?
  15. Definitely gravitation has SAR potential. Adhesion and Division could probably have uses in construction. Abrasion, specifically becoming frictionless could be a really interesting way to mess around with dancing. Think about a dance performance where the performers can glide about - basically ice skating, but without the climate control. In the same vein of performance, Lightweaving definitely could end up used there.
  16. Not really, I don't have the attention span for them. I do like absently spinning a Rubik's Cube though, much better than fidgeting with my necklace. The ring is... really eroded at this point. TPBM has never dyed their hair, but might like to.
  17. I watched The Winter Soldier again last night. I think it's still my favorite MCU movie. Edit: I watched it because it was too difficult to find something else to watch and I didn't feel like being adventurous, so if anyone has recommendations for sci-fi, fantasy, or historical movies, let me know.
  18. I read Dresden number four yesterday. I liked it, though it did sort of reinforce my dislike of a particular trope, this one: I also read Red Rising. Interesting concept, but upon doing a little more research into the series, no beans on continuing it. Too grimdark for this particular individual.
  19. I read Catherine Called Birdy, thinking I was rereading it. If I had a nickel for every book I read set in Medieval England about a girl associated with birds that deals with arranged marriages, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice. It was an okay book. However, if the above description rings a bell for anyone, please tell me, because I've forgotten the title of the other book and it's driving me crazy. If I remember correctly, that book includes doves and the main character was widowed at least twice.
  20. Burial. I wouldn't want a viewing, either. Embalmed corpses are creepy. Have you ever gone out on the water in a square-rigged ship?
  21. A week in the mountains, or forest, with my friends. What is the most unusual flavor combination you've ever encountered?
  22. Someone once suggested that Warbreaker is a Bollywood movie. That does sound intriguing to me Just to make sure I understand (I'm terrible at context) You mean Evans, Pine, etc., correct? Because that sounds hilarious and I love it.
