  1. Yeah, I was leaning towards the reveal of the wincon being due to the fact that there are some doppelgangers existing. If it's 6-1 right now and they have a convert each cycle, that's 2 cycles of MLs and they'll have majority to win the match barring any other mechanics. Perhaps they won't have a convert each cycle or perhaps conversion is a game mechanic and not a player ability. But all the hints do point towards at least 1 doppelganger right now I think. My power is basically to analyse any written material in the game locations, with higher success chance exploring the Lighthouse - funny how I still didn't find anything smh.
  2. Yeah, I think the fact that it's only 7 of us makes me think we don't really need to decrease it further. We'll see how it goes in the first cycle and reconvene. On the other hand, not sure what we can talk about today other than speculating about the game.
  3. I offer you the original coin that killed kandra!Araris giving rise to the legend that you have made as AraRaash. Go kandra-eat lots of players at the champs! :')
  4. Thanks for running this Ash. Now I can put this game behind me >>
  5. Alright, I've put this off for long now, so without further ado, here are your GM's thoughts. It is arguable that the elim team could be both 4 or 5 imo. Depending on the number, necessary balancing had to be made. 5 made sense because I was fine with the village not electing an Amyrlin Seat as long as they had a perfect game. The village would end the game in D5 if they had a perfect game, and the latest possible cycle the Amyrlin could be elected in is N5, which worked perfectly. Basically - "you don't want to elect an Amyrlin Seat? Fine, have a perfect game then", which the village almost did :P. , Having chosen 5 elims meant spreading them very narrowly in as less Ajahs as possible without it being too crippling. 5 elims in 5 different Ajah means a possible scenario where 5/6 Sitters are elims, which would bring them very close to their wincon. 3 Ajahs was the maximum access I was willing to give them. Now the most important question, why did I give a distro with an all-elim Ajah? There are only 2 ways to split 5 elims in 3 Ajahs - 2/2/1 or 3/1/1. I deemed 2/2/1 too strong for an elim team of 5 to have because the games is designed in a way that elims have easier wincons and 2/2/1 essentially guarantees 2 elim Sitters. I gave elims 5 members in numbers and tried to debuff them in any way possible. Funnily enough, I had not thought so deeply into all of this, and just tried to see how the distro would look, and in the very first rand, it gave me an all-elim Brown Ajah. I tried different rands, but the first one I got was perfect and everything else paled in comparison. This game does need a better incentive for the village to elect the Amyrlin Seat. As I mentioned in the dead doc, I do think giving the Amyrlin Seat access to elim doc as well is a good idea, with the elim doc being anonymous. Elims would be given the info about all their teammates and their anon-identity in the elim doc on the GM PMs. PMs had to be closed this game as essentially, the docs were like PMs except I decide who you talk to :P. I liked the Ajah docs, and glad players enjoyed then :P.
  6. i am so confused i thought it was polly and.... who else? smh it was you. okay. @The Unknown Flame, you wanna give up Breath as well? I can confirm my order is in.
  7. Yessir. Would you be the second person? Idm if it's you or TUF, but I think you're village-read way more than him so I'd personally prefer you. edit: ruler works as well
  8. @Hoid Slayer what do you think about Polly? I'm kinda of the mind that because Polly has already given her breath, it might be better to go for her this cycle, while asking Raven to use his Breath today. If Polly turns out v, I don't think - wait would that indicate v-Raven then? Trying to figure if Polly/Raven might be e/e - would 2 elims come forward to give breath C1? Elims would actually want to be burning their Breaths quicker without being suspicious then, but in this case uhhhh I don't really see it? I feel like Polly has been quieter than how she played in the previous game though. edit: @ruler of the mists do you suspect STINK because they voted on you?
  9. This is my trust order for now. Hoid Slayer > ruler > TUF > Wiz > STINK > TwinStorm > BridgeBoi > Polly > Raven 10 players, 8 Breaths left. We should out pressure one 1 exe candidate and put forward 1 person we think will get NKed each cycle to give up their breath for us to maximize Breath Utilization. If we put forth a strongly village-read player to give up the Breath, the elims then have to make the choice between letting a strong village player alive or keeping more Breath in the game. Potential exe-candidate/elim will have to give up their Breath and help up, instead of not using them.
  10. smh I forgot about the not-voting-C1 aspect of TUF's meta wait so why did you vote for stick, that too breaking your meta for it? @The Unknown Flame
  11. Smhhhh please re-read last cycle. This is also to everyone, re-reading previous cycles is always helpful in giving legacy reads. From last cycle - Disliked his push on me. Usually Kas gives a bit more leeway/time to grow into the game and I did not expect him to do so in C1. I do not think I am a good primary but I can be an excellent support/secondary to Kas' primary and everyone who has played with both of us know that, and also know we can find each other quite quickly. So for him to push me C1 felt off.
  12. ;-; If you have an explanation of a thought process of how you went from being wary of STINK to clearing him, I'd love to hear it. In other news, tiny bit NK analysis. Elims tend to usually kill of players who they personally v-read thinking them to be more village-read than they actually are. Not really sure that applies to a Kas kill, but I went back and checked the players who mentioned they v-read Kas and the only non-Stick (hehe) players who did so were... Raven and Polly sigh
  13. Okay so I was waiting to see who pushes me because yes, you could argue the Kas kill could happen irrespective but especially with the added benefit of framing me. One of them was one of my village reads from last cycle and the other is Raven. I'll come back to this later, so now - replies to Kas, cause dead people deserve answers too. Yeah, at the time I was considering the scenario where it was a two person team with you and Stick. Stick was in trouble and you had no other teammate and no other player you could pivot to, to save her. I think, in my head, I'm definitely way more easily pushable than you or Stick. Mrghh, makes no read about me, makes no read about Stick either. I don't like this vote and the reasoning "path of least resistance" because the path of least resistance is usually villager. Also, there was equally no resistance on my elimination. In fact, Kas did show more resistance for Stick elimination than me. It feels like an elim trying to contribute/talk about the elimination without really giving reads/good reasoning. Gonna set it aside right now because tldr looks like 'Polly sus because she did not vote on me', which is hilarious. But ugh devil's advocating, an elim usually does not want to be seen on a villager train and in a v/v train ties are usually good for the elims. Ugh, sorry that C1 has really battered my confidence. BUT I shall try. Mrrgh, the more I see the post the more I think it is theatrics >> Sure, getting pocketed sucks. But I figure an appropriate response to that would be more caution in PMing. An immediate vote feels like an overreaction. Again, there is a contradiction with how quickly you are willing to trust STINK after that despite being so worried about pocketing. It feels like an overcorrection. I would expect more caution in this case. @STINK, would love your input here. How did Raven go from "Ahhh go away demon" to "STINK clear" in the PMs? @The Unknown Flame, explain :P. If you believe I am E to the point most of your posts this cycle have mentioned it, then why is this in your post at all? I feel it's more directed to V!me since E!me is kind of known not to have the ML guilt problem, and it was a whole thing. Like this whole thing makes no sense except from a V!me world, with the E as a random afterthought and IDK a post that has "Kas and Stick are Elims" has any business also suggesting this - it's like your actions are showing you don't really buy your own read? Just a reminder that I was typing up the post you quoted thinking it was the last minute of the cycle and I did not have any time. So, it is incomplete. With it I wanted to say you and Stick are my top 2 suspicion (because as I mentioned before, I thought of the 2-elim team where you HAVE to push me to save her), but I also wanted to look after my bro because I know he struggles with guilt even though he's been getting better IN CASE I WAS WRONG ABOUT HIM. Because it was C1 after all. my e!Kas statement would have concluded like "e!Kas also dont feel guilty because thats your wincon after all lmao". Now comes my biggest problem with you, Raven. We spoke about how dangerous it is for an elim to push Kas early (or well at any stage in the game) and you agreed with me. Do you really think I'd make that statement so recently and and then immediately in the next game push Kas C1 as an elim? Ngl guys, it's been a long time since I've felt guilty about an ML as I do about this one. That was a horrific C1 from me. It condemned not 1, not 2 but 3 decent villagers to die. Stick, by pushing her. Kas by my argument with him and him sussing me so his death could be an attempt to frame me, and myself by putting myself in a position where I could be framed and MLed. Sorry @Stick. But, like I said, I SHALL try my best. Village - Hoid Slayer, ruler of mists, TUF, Wiz maybe I need more time to figure out Polly. @TwinStorm and @BridgeBoi , come chime in. edit: I have no idea what is happening to my post ;-; edit 2: uhhh should be fixed smh, if you saw that no you didnt :P.
  14. lmaoooooo :P. Legacy read if I die: PLEASE DO LOOK AT STICK AND KAS. ALSO POSSIBLE THAT ELIM TEAM COULD BE JUST A TWO- PERSON TEAM. @Kasimir v!Kas DO NOT FEEL GUILTY. uhh e!Kas also dont feel guilty edit if merged: uhhhhhh is the cycle not over >> edit2: *cries in embarrassment* recently finished a game on mu where everything's on ET so I just... thought... this is was on ET too >> SMH .-.
  15. Yeah, I think I did expect you to push a cycle later at least. Definitely did not expect it C1. Fair about the part regarding new players. Regarding my activity in mash, bro I had to make 10 posts in 12 hours, if not I would get inactivity killed ;-; and despite that I just barely hit above the minimum req post count. I donno what the point of this is because you should be asleep and I should probably go to sleep after this post but -I meant like I'd probably stamp a v!read on you and then kill you, that's what I meant by least interactions. Not fully ignoring you but not looking to threadbrawl with you at all by pushing you. there is no paranoia lol, i did not mention it at all. I genuinely do not trust kas atp. if you're actually village, then I'm seriously out of practice ffs... why not? Why would you show me something if I can't have itttt? xD Sidenote: ready to bribe any potential GM to make this happen :P. Retaliation voting is not something I would associate with Stick, whether v or e, so this is weird. I would like to think that v!Stick works with me here in regards to the possibility of e!Kas than just falsely state my suspicions as paranoia.
  16. Aftermath - Mother Sierin's plan was working. It seems such a risky move when she hatched it, but you do not get to climb the ladder without rolling a few heads. She walked into the trapdoor set in the tavern nearby and there she was, her prized possession, the last of the Black Ajah - Altea of the White. There was a reason no one could find the last Black Ajah despite the best efforts the new Amyrlin. Sierin had moved quicker, faster than anyone expected her to be, and had correctly figured out the secret of Altea. But instead of handing her over to the Amyrlin, she went about her plan. Altea was not too smart to evade capture forever. Eventually, she'd be caught and the influence of the Amyrlin would grow. What if... I captured Altea and kept her in a place where no one could find them, and I continued killing the Aes Sedai here in the Tower? It was such a brilliant move! She'd never be suspected as she had already passed her test with the Oath Rod as she hadn't really sworn to the Dark. She was just ambitious to the point of evil, and not every evil person needs the Dark One's promises. "Why? Why are you doing this? What has He promised you?", wheezed Altea. "Huh, you wouldn't understand." Just a few more nights, a few more deaths of her Sisters and the Hall would grow restless. They already though they had placed a figurehead at the top and the petty squabbles of the Sitters turned a lot serious now. There were rumours about Stilling the Amyrlin already, with the Sitters discussing the next person to be Raised. Sierin would then be in the best position to swoop in, the Sisters already mentioning support to her in whispers. It was to her greatest surprise, then, that the trapdoor was broken in and she found herself face-to-face with the Amyrlin and her strongest and most vocal supporters. Getting over her shock is a matter of moments, she put on her sweetest face, "Mother! Look who I found for you!" "Indeed, look what we have here. It seems like you've had her for days, Sierin. You weren't keeping her from me, were you?" "No Mother! I couldn't be sure if there was another one of them at the Tower, who could get to her. Naturally, I thought of questioning her away from the Tower." "Naturally." "And I was right! The killings continued well after I captured Altea." "The killings continued because you killed them, Sierin." This time she couldn't hide the surprise off her face. The Amyrlin had spoken a direct statement, she truly believed in it. She knew... "Mother?" Sierin never even realised the Shield was in place as she tried to access her Source. "Mother, no! Please! Let me explain." Just like that, Sierin was cut off from her source as the Amyrlin had already moved on towards Altea. *** Everyone was searching for Jane Steel as they assumed poor Jane was another one of the Black Ajah's victims. Meanwhile, John had enough of cosplaying as Aes Sedai. Those ladies were going insane and killing each other. And they say male channelers are the ones going crazy??? How were they involving him in those discussion? Never again, never again... He had escaped the tower before they even noticed he was gone. Maybe he'd sneak aboard the ships of the Sea Folk next... *** Illwei was exiled! She was from the Black Ajah! Vote Count: Congratulations to the Hall of the Tower for winning the game by successfully eliminated the Black Ajah! Also, a big thank you to the pinch-hitters - @Aeternum and @Illwei. Without them, we'd have a lot more inactivity deaths and the game would have been a lot less fun. Massive shout-out to Illwei for taking the game right down to the wire and making it very close in the end. Another thanks would be to all the players who have joined SE and trusted me to be your entry to it, namely - @BridgeBoi(another shoutout for taking on the responsibility of being a Sitter and then the Amyrlin Seat and bringing the victory home to the village), @Terrisman, @Teldris Anuar and @ThatOneWorldhopper. I hope you all continue to play with us, and please do not think that you had a bad game or any of the sort. We only learn by play more :). All in all, I hope everyone had fun! I know we had a couple of moments of GMClusterchull, but I will probably talk about it later in my GM Thoughts. For now, thank you all for indulging. :') Docs: GM Spreadsheet Spec Doc Black Ajah Doc Green Ajah Blue Ajah Grey Ajah White Ajah Yellow Ajah Brown Ajah (hehe :P) Player List:
  17. pftttt, e!me would not have the courage to push you in-thread at all, you'd just eat the kill with probably the least interactions ever :P. I actually disagree with hoid slayer's reasoning for your vote, your plan seems perfectly fine to me, in the sense that it could equally come from a villager or elim, not just elim-exclusive pov. it's just that i have no one else I suspect other than you. uhhh other than kas smh. speaking of, talk to me about kas? iirc speaking with you helped us find e!Kas in that one game i forget which but i think i endgamed with Araris, Aman, someone else. bip was there too i think.
  18. Yeah sorry, had a long 12+ hour shift and needed to unwind after work. Still need to watch the new WoT episode smh. I actually disagree with your wrt TUF opening, I village-read his opening...very easily (like there's a particular difference in v-reading strongly versus v-reading easily, idk how to explain). Particularly, "I'm not sure how much that would amount but possibly two, idk" and the next post "successfully talking myself out" part. Seems quite natural thoughts flowing, not manufactured. Which is why also disliked Stick's vote on TUF. "Giving away as many breaths as possible" plan, even though unvillagery, is something would an elim would very rarely say. Latching onto it seems poor to me. Stick does in fact walk it back later, indeed giving TUF village read for it, but gut says it looks like an elim realised the vote was done with poor reasoning rather than a villager reassessing. Ngl bro, not feeling good about you either My village strength is in mid-game and my opening is quite slow and quiet almost always. I know people say 'you don't know your own meta', but like, I'm pretty sure there a noticeable difference in opening activity with my elim and village games (in that I think my opening activity is higher when I'm elim when compared to village). I think I discussed this is with you prior. And pretty sure you know the whole "slack off in the beginning, kill it mid-game, and break your head endgame" part of my game. So this minor push on me feels ehhh, you know how obvillage I can be later in the game. Talk to me about Stick, I wanna know if you're e/e with her :P. Throwaway read, but very very slightly worried about e/e theatrics wrt Raven/STINK. Impressive if it is :P.
