Are you sure you don't want to do this guys? We can keep at least one of Sart/Araris alive by IKYK and force elims to kill me. It's a good PtV, because it's gonna keep Araris alive longer. We can go for KSauce now and see.
-
If you trust my claim, I have asked Striker, I can perma-protect someone. No limit on protect targets in consecutive cycles. We can basically force the elims to shoot my slot as I'm claiming I'm going to perma-protect Araris.
-
Hmmm, if we assume TUO's reply earlier was a Thug claim as well, that means everyone alive has a role other than Sart (unknown). Makes it weird that only Kidpen was the player with no role if Sart also has one. Honestly, I'm very close to the point of conf-v!Araris. Makes sense that Doc would pass of claims to him if he's scanned the accurate role of Araris. But honestly, joining in on the trains when you have nothing to say gets old quite fast. Sure Araris is a veteran vocal player, but his reasoning to vote on me stems from the fact that he assumes there to be elim participation on D1, which could be wrong, and we're discounting TwinStorm as we're assuming the vote manipulation was elim-voted which could be wrong. I'm gonna vote TwinStorm here, half in protest because that vote vexes me, and half because I'm no longer excluding him out of the pool because of the vote manip from D1. I'm sorry, but that vote is quite annoying (again, understandable the time constraints but it is what I feel nonetheless) and I hope he comes back before the end of the cycle to explain it.

@Araris Valerian If there is an evil Thug, I can see a Mistborn/Smoker/Thug team. Replaced a Soother in your team with a Smoker because I think protect against Seeking is quite important to them. If you're keeping a Soother in the team because of D1, remember, e!Mistborn could have drawn Soother. 3 Thugs + Lurcher village team should have either 1 Mistborn/1 Coinshot or 2 Mistborn, both of which would have balance issues making the game very swingy. And yeah, @Biplet, I don't know what I was thinking re: WGG on KSauce, most likely an elim shot or less likely - v!CS/MB
-
Sigh. Regarding Sart, he feels quite contributory the whole game and there's been quite a bit of mindmeld feeling I've gotten regarding a bunch of stuff the whole game. Okay, hmm, if I have to discount Araris (at least for this cycle, looks like it's no dice from everyone else), my TUO e-credence rises. Also, in case my e!Soother theory is wrong and it was just Aeoryi's Soothe in D1, TwinStorm e-credence also rises. Biplet is still there, but in my earlier post, both Biplet and KSauce were sorta associative with Araris, so I don't know... TUO I guess...
-
Any way to prove this? This would be the best way for me to dispel my e!you theory. Yes, but from my POV there's no point in setting up my ML on the basis that TOW is evil if he knows TOW is village. Do we have any reason to believe KSauce is the elim kill and not Doc? Like I said, I believe the Doc kill is weirdly specific, something is wrong there. Could you explain the Bip convo a bit more? No reason why a villager should claim when someone says "I have scanned you as regular Villager".
-
I'm a Lurcher. I protected Sart N1 and myself N2. TwinStorm (2): Araris Valerian, Biplet ThatOneWorldhopper (2): Aeoryi, Doc12, Kidpen Kidpen (2): |TJ|, Sart Sart (1): ThatOneWorldhopper Walin (1): TwinStorm Still holding the assumption that D1 vote manipulation was elim-motivated and not done by Aeo, TwinStorm appears village as the the Soother makes him one of the contender to die. From D1 and D2 posts, I have a very good village read of Sart. His post D2 on suspecting me if TOW was evil does not come from evil perspective imo. That leaves me with TUO, Araris, Biplet, KSauce and Walin. Of the 5, we have an attack survivor and a 2 Thug claimees... I don't know what to make of all the Thug claims, that makes it 3 Thugs + 1 Lurcher in the game, which seems to be an excess of protects. I don't see this unless there's at least some combination of 0/1 Coinshot and 1/2 Mistborn/s. e!Coinshot is not possible, they would have shot in N1. v!Coinshot who holstered N1 and shot N2 is possible. Both v and e Mistborns are more than likely. Doc's death kinda weird here because N2 is still quite early for a returning player to be killed, which makes me wonder if it's related to his roleclaim and implicates Araris. I'm guessing Doc's death to be NK and KSauce attack would either be from a holstered v!Coinshot or v!Mistborn or, equally likely imo, WGG by an e!Mistborn. Obviously, there isn't going to be a counter to Araris' claim so either he is village or he is/has an evil Smoker teammate. So we have e!Soother behavior from D1 and e!Smoker behaviour from D2. Keeping in mind the amount of protect claims we've have, I think it's possible that the elim team has 2 Mistborns? Pretty sure they have at least 1 and the game has 2. Looking at [Araris, Biplet, KSauce] for now. @Araris Valerian, did Doc scan you as a regular or your actual role? Or both? Thoughts, @The Unknown Order @Walin @Sart @Biplet?
-
Aeo was ON the TOW wagon. If she wanted a tie, she could have just unvoted. I think there's another Soother.
-
The Soothe was most definitely evil-motivated if it wasn't done by TOW himself. We'll keep an eye out on future Soothes to see the pattern, but if, for some reason, it is from a villager, we might need a claim and reasoning for it. Also, if it is evil-motivated, it means TwinStorm is also village. @KaladinsSenseOfHumorSpren, we can only vote during the Day cycles.
-
This sentence is particularly seeming from village mentality.
-
Mild village read on Sart. I think he's in his village meta. Kidpen Araris
-
I have a mild village read on TOW btw, I was evil with them the last game and it was their first time as an elim, and they were happy to skirt by with minimal thread presence. In my opinion, they've shown more presence in this game.
-
There was no move away from me until I spoke up, it was me-motivated :P.

Yeah sorry guys, I had a horribly busy, sleep drived weekend and just caught up on it rn. I don't remember the last time players were okay to kill an inactive person on D1. The first poke is okay, I guess. I'm suspicious of at least one in latter voters. For being ~40 hours into the cycle, the discussion about the anyone (including me tbh, it just looks like someone voted and everyone else joined in without any discussion) or about the game itself is horribly non-existent. Latter voters on me are - Araris, Doc and Walin. Doc and Walin are playing after a while so, wouldn't want them D1'd. Although in Walin's case, I found their phrase "sorry to do this to you" to be suspicious. When they made their post, there was still ~13 hours left in the cycle, and it's implied in the post that my exe is a foregone conclusion. Mrrghhh, fair I guess 4-1 lead is a bit much, but much has happened in lesser time in SE, so not really liking the confidence that Walin's words inherently shows. But like I said, I want them to play longer than D1, so Araris

Thank you guys! All courtesy of Drake's plan of course I waited until the last possible minute to change my vote. GG guys! It was quite fun to evil with Drakebro, albeit a bit too short. Next time, hopefully in a much larger game (and hopefully with Kas and Striker :P) -

I'm gonna pause my thinking cap and assume you're village for a sec. (Thinking cap back on - this above sentiment, in itself, reads like a villager. Feels very similar to how I felt when I played my first game, rolled a village Coinshot, and felt v guilty about shooting anyone) Also, I don't think he'd take it as you attacking him, don't worry. I mean, sure, we're making cases and bouncing ideas off each other, and if Drake is village, then some of the votes on him are most likely manufacturing suspicion, but in the end we vote on players we suspect. As long as it is done in a respectful and non-rude way, you're okay! :).- 166 replies

Mid-Range Game 73: SE and Taxes
|TJ| replied to The Unknown Medallion's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Huh, I just thought Storm was the Target and got told one of Kas/Drake is evil and now that Kas was village, Drake was evil. I just checked and saw that we do have role flips so that's not possible until BH is dead, and since role flips exists, we know for sure that BH is not dead >> My bad, my initial assumption was we do not have role flips. Coming to Storm's post, I will include my thoughts inside the quote itself. Bold and italics mine Like I said, compelling case, and but the biggest reason I suspect Drake is for something I noticed last cycle - This Path to Victory analysis done by Drake last cycle, I feel, is not done with the best intentions of the village. It blatantly disregards any and all forms of vote manipulation in a game with loads of it, and that is something that we need to be very careful of in the middle-later stages of the game. Drake is someone I expect to be well versed with this and I think he deliberately omits it here in the hopes that the village overlooks it.- 166 replies

I'm gonna relay what I said to Kas in private comms - I dislike Storm's first post in this cycle more than their second. He looks like he suspects Drake more but his vote ends up on... Striker? Regards to his second post, his reasoning on Kas seems sincere imo. Kas' defence is also absolutely valid (i.e., ML'ed Wonko so why wouldn't he kill someone unpopular). Also, something to ponder upon if Kas is village (village-reading Kas for now, the threadbrawl with Wonko in D1 is weird for Kas to do as elim), when was the last time someone evil tried to ML Kas? Would TwinStorm try to go for Kas after playing evil with him in the last game? I'm leaning towards no. I'm not giving much credence to my read of his first post which would be possible teammates with Drake. Drake/Striker I'm leaving it to later >> Leaving towards v!Striker and e!Drake I don't like TOW or KSauces votes or reads. I like Coder better thank Sparker. -

I didn't vote last cycle bro. Ah okay, so the PM votes are not cumulative. I read this as Wonko was the kill target, and it would be very very unpopular because it would require the elims to not be active enough to see the Wonko votes popping and and also be okay with killing a returning player. -

Same lol, especially with that particular name. But again, not sure why a team of you and/or Drake would choose to not kill someone because if either of you are evil, it is a deliberate choice not to kill, and not accidentally forgotten to submit. Not sure if this info is important but just putting it out there - Drake did sent me a PM about 90 mins before he sent the group PM. Also, shouldn't you and Drake have 3 votes? 2 cycles PMs and voting on Wonko? -

Sorry guys, been a rough couple of days. I've gone through the thread and honestly, I've got nothing, don't really got the bandwidth to think before I crash for the night. Consider this a filter dodging post given that it's just 1 cycle of inactivity before I get replaced. Things should be better next cycle. I hope. -

LG 106 - Aftermath: A Ruinous Wrath
|TJ| replied to Araris Valerian's topic in Sanderson Elimination
What Striker said, it shall be glorious! Thanks for running the game, Araris! For once, I could actually (sorta) RP till the end . I do think we should have some form of blocking a kill. Giving us a Lurcher/Thug could have been an option but also to make Soother being able to block Spike kills as well. I know it is pretty damning if there's no Spike kill in a cycle but figuring out who are Spiked and who among them could be submitting the kill is a skill that is hard to come by and should be rewarded I think. Congrats to the Spiked, y'all had the upperhand on the village for pretty much the entire game!
