just found a 32 dollar mistcloak online that i can totally use for my cosplay for halloween/dragonsteel con.
finding a mistcloak was easily gonna be the hardest part of the cosplay.
now comes other fun parts.

Calano opened the door, and immediately hugged his old friend. "Thank you," He said, "For helping. For getting your friends to help. I am in your debt, old friend." Calano frowned while hugging Thaidakar. Yes, He shot back mentally to the voice, Who is this? Do I know you? Calano released Thaidakar and turned to Emma, pressing his forehead to hers and taking her hands in his. "We are connected as no one else has ever been, my beloved," He whispered to her, "You and I are one. Forever. I'm never leaving you again." something feels… different about today.
I’m not sure what.
but it feels..
good. but also bad.
it feels right. but it also feels wrong.
like things will be alright, but that something’s off.
like love will win, but that hate will not loosen its grip.
like joy is there, shining through my window, but that sadness is still there, hidden in the folds of my curtains.
it’s a strange feeling.
a bittersweet feeling.
not entirely sure what to make of it.

Calano, who was still in the office holding his wife, sensed Thaidakars approach. ”Come,” He said to Emma, “Thaidakar is coming. We must meet with him.” He stood, helping Emma to her feet as well. @The Wandering Wizard @Thaidakar the Ghostblood

Calano frowned. As far as I can tell, there’s a new Clinic. Emma and I should be there soon. Hows everyone holding up?

Calano clung to Emma with the fear of a man who’d lost everything, and who didn’t want to lose it again. He looked up at his wife, smiling, crying, and laughing at the same time, and traced the edges of her face with his hands. He smoothed back her hair, taking her in, in all her beauty. ”Gods above, I missed you,” He said, “I won’t be losing you again.” Calano felt Bookwyrm enter the New Clinic. He tracked where it was, and noticed it had taken up residence where the prison bubble of Kaos once was. ”A new Clinic…” He whispered to himself. ”Emma,” He said, “There’s a new Clinic. We can go there. We can find Kaos, who’s surely bound there. We could destroy it. For good.” He sent a message to Bookwyrm. Bookwyrm. I did it. Emma’s back. We are the Creator. Calano groggily opened his eyes, and saw a smiling tear-stained face. Emma. His wife. His love. His crow. His, finally, once more. ”Emma!” He shouted, sitting up and wrapping her up in his arms, “Emma, Emma, Emma.” He started to cry. He’d gotten his wife back. His most beloved. “Emma,” He sobbed, and buried his face into her shoulder and hair, which smelled just as he’d remembered: like her. He allowed himself to cry, letting out all the pain, grief, guilt, and frustration that he’d held for so long. He allowed himself to be held and loved by someone who knew him better than he knew himself. @The Wandering Wizard

Calano shoved so much Light into his Lightsword he feared it would shatter, or he would faint. Maybe both. He shouted, defying everything in his way, and plunged his Lightsword into the heart of the broiling mass of Kaos and darkness. He willed Light into the mass, eating it from the inside. Light from the endless pool of his energy. Emma had only been an Avatar of Kaos, but even still, had been near to godhood herself. She’d been only days, perhaps hours away from becoming Kaos itself. But Calano was a god. And a powerful one. So, he willed half of his Light, half of his energy, into the writhing orb of evil and Kaos. The Light ate at the Kaos, destroying and transforming it into Light, until all was purged, and nothing remained but Light and joy. He shoved the mass of Light back into Emma. A ring of energy appeared, connecting both of them, and then blasted outwards, shattering the walls of the office in the fortress, and destroying anything else it came in contact with. They both fell backwards onto the floor of the office, unconscious. @The Wandering Wizard

gosh, the daydreams and nightdreams and fantasies i get about being with her.
dancing in the kitchen, late at night.
cuddling up together on the couch in the winter, mugs of hot chocolate in hand, watching movies together.
holding her through tough times. not caring if i get sick when she’s sick.
cooking together, baking together, living together, loving being together.
swearing that i’ll never leave. not ever again. i’ll have left for two years for my mission, but once i’m back, i’ll never leave her side ever again. i am hers just as much as she is mine. i love her, and her alone. there’s a whole life ahead of me, and she’s half of it, and that’s all i need.
loves a wonderful thing. and i’m so incredibly lucky to have found it so soon. and i know that. if you haven’t found your person, just keep your eyes and ears open, and your heart ready. you’ll experience heartbreak once or twice, or maybe you already have, and maybe more than that, but once you find the person who you can be with forever, all the past heartbreaks won’t matter.
she’s not just my lover. she’s not just the only person i’ll ever truly love like this. she’s also my best friend. she’s my BFF and my GF.
and i love her. i love her more than i can say.
