    What a splendid unethical unlife hack! Also, welcome back, Karg! But then why all the Hemalurgy though? Kelsier probably should be aware of the downsides of Hemalurgy so why would he do that unless he needed to? Or, I guess, if he found a way to mitigate the effects somehow but I don't think that's the case, that would be really big.

The term refers to the voice that the Returned hear that gives them the option to Return. So Endowment. We thought of "Tones" as shades of colour pre-RoW

    Yup, in retrospect that came out a bit harsh, sorry about that. Hmm... Worldhoppers might have other means of extending their lifespans too, so yes, it's very likely. Also, who knows the full extent of the so-called Royal Locks, their Returned heritage can apparently allow a lot more than changing the colour of one's hair. Vivenna might've gone full Melisandre for all we know. I don't really remember roughly how many years are supposed to be between Warbreaker or Nightblood (the sequel, not the sword) and Stormlight.

    Just thought I'd bring y'all's attention to this fresh WoB on Taldain's Darkside Tattoos apparently, so we were all wrong on what the Skycolors manifested: not glow-in-the-dark people, eye colours or a literal limelight shining from the sky or aurora but tattoos. Edit: Brandon might not exactly be talking about the Skycolors (like Breath vs Awakening) And the Skycolors do involve bioluminescence and something like the aurora: Prose stuff and it could be a mix of UV interactions, bioluminescence and magic. The Skycolors varying between people definitely points to weirdness. ~ extracts & points from Mori on Discord

    Vivenna might simply be wielding that blade and might have had no direct involvement in its creation, we don't really know. Maybe Yesteel made it and/or Vasher or someone else. I don't think we ever see her issuing Commands to stone or metal either, only cloth. And even if we did, that's not necessarily indicative of a Heightening. Awakeners are capable of Life Sense before reaching the Fourth Heightening and Command Breaking before the Eighth Heightening, and as we know of the Lifeless, skill with Commands can decrease the Breath cost of Awakening. All together, it's not easy to judge what Heightening Vivenna is.

    It it though? The Heralds are Cognitive Shadows, we don't know what the deal with their bodies is. Originally they were supposed to function like the Fused iirc And the WoB I said that in response to seems to hint at something being different about the Herald's Physical body, perhaps due to it being a construct of in some way? (But functionally, aren't all bodies in the Cosmere constructs of their Spiritweb? Idk)
