  1. Here's my favourite curveball : Who's your least favorite character?
  2. Kaladin! and
  3. Pailiah is suspected to be in the Palaneum currently. Chana seems more suited to what Liss is doing. She's a warrior Herald, judging by her iconography and as the Dustbringer patron Herald with the Divine Attribute of Loyalty, it would make sense for her to become an assassin, twisted like the other Heralds
  4. Oh hey there! Welcome to the Shard!

  5. Lys is assumed to be Chana actually
  6. I'm a Truthwatcher
  7. Hey now,
  8. Yeah, as I said, I read that as her doubting the Unmade's nature. Plus, Shallan's thoughts on the book in OB.
  9. Have I mentioned I love his initials?
  10. I read that as Jasnah doubting Hessi's hypotheses regarding the Unmades' nature
  11. I don't think they're the same people. I would love for Jasnah to recruit Hessi, after all her data has proved itself to be pretty accurate, and apologize to her for doubting her work.
  12. Welcome to the Shard! So, who's your favourite character?
  13. No need to say that so ominously! Welcome aboard!
  14. @rwerr, do you have a favourite Cosmere book? (it's perfectly understandable if it's difficult to choose one )
  15. I would love for it to happen (seriously, my happiness would only be slightly less than Kaladin's if this happened, no matter what tvtropes says against this kind of stuff!..... well, in this particular case) but I don't think it's gonna happen
  16. I think they thought the humans remembered enough
  17. His eyes should be lighter
  18. I mean, technically, negotiations were possible, with Eshonai & a changing Dalinar, but with the info they had, they were stuck between a rock & a hard place (I'm never using this turn of phrase again, it sounds so stupid) Eshonai was a really, really good person but Venli's actions were more realistic, her anger made sense, she was responding to her people's genocide, which truly was a game to the Alethi. Yes, she didn't really know what the Forms of Power would unleash but the warnings were there in their Songs of Remembrance but what other options did they have? They were getting out of options to even reliably feed themselves, completely dependent on the Gemhearts they were getting from the Chasmfiends. So, yeah, agreed.
  19. Hey there, welcome to the Shard! Take a look around, feel free to hop in on any interesting discussions and debates or games & role-plays, and don't hesitate to ask questions
  20. Some rest, therapy, good friends, good food, acknowledgement, apology, respect, a chance to punch all three Rosharan Shards in the face and finally some worthy opponents
  21. Dark One is not Cosmere (any more), General Brandon Discussion forum would be more appropriate or... Yep, the new subforum is already here mate, just post it there: https://www.17thshard.com/forum/forum/98-dark-one/
  22. Or maybe the Orders that share a Surge are better at using it in a certain way than the other. Maybe the Edgedancers are more skilled at decreasing friction, while the Dustbringers are more skilled at increasing friction. The Truthwatchers are at the center of the double eye, maybe it's cultural, maybe it's to denote their role, the surrounding Orders protecting them, but if it is more related to the magics, then maybe it's because both of those Orders are skilled at Spiritual manifestations of their Surges. *Dustbringers not Ashbringers (but that's a cool name), Mjolnir not Mjilnor
  23. Welcome to the Shard!
