    Ah, my apologies. Medallions can only do feruchemy, not Allomancy. And I would say the aethers can pretty easily match them in numbers considering how low Scadrial's population is.

      Honestly, I think there are some Europeans who actually like America, but yeah, I wouldn't trust most of Europe with my rights nowadays.

    I don't mind the comparison at all, in fact I find it quite invigorating. I do however feel that it is impossible to argue that allomancy is unique in that it can get investiture without a preexisting source.

    Alright I'll address this in two points: We have proven that the ability to acquire investiture without preexisting investiture is not unique to allomancy, so we can hopefully close that discussion. While the spren cannot leave Roshar, their bondsmiths can, or well the Stormfather's bondsmith can

    Not really, they need to drink more water, but they aren't chugging gallons or anything. And Bondsmiths can draw from the Spiritual realm without any resource cost other than their own energy.

    Elsecallers and Willshapers can look into the cognitive realm without going there, what Elend did was different only in that he peered into the spiritual realm.

    No, he saw the spiritual realm, which is very different, and was specifically a result of using a shard metal, not an innate part of allomancy.

    Yes. Very slowly. Unless it was a typo and they meant "hack" instead of "jack" it reads as going to or at least drawing close to the spiritual realm. But either way there is a flaw in the premise as energy is coming to Aetherbound from the spiritual realm.

    It's the same thing as compounding: Using an outside source of power to fuel feruchemy. Same way you get it inside the person using allomancy. No, you would definitely put the dor inside the metalmind.

    You could totally do this, just like with compounding, only far more powerful. Now it might require jumping through some more hoops than using it to fuel allomancy would, but it would work.

    Yeah I was looking at that earlier. For some reason I cannot find the post in question. I can find XP saying not to pass Investiture because it might go to Elims, but I cannot find the response post, but I am sure it was there. Though I do have to say I find it interesting that you find my vote out of left field when you were the one pushing me to vote.

    Downplaying the risk of passing Investiture off to Elims more than anything. Murder takes too much effort, I've done basically nothing today and I already want to go to bed.
