We know that Nightblood is strange, that it was created somehow differently from the other swords of Nalthis, like Vivivena's. Perhaps it's not just the command, but also the intention and the hand behind it all. We know that Vasher traveled the Cosmere before creating the sword, and we know that to navigate between worlds, you need the Great Knell, which has been confirmed to be where Ambition died (which is why I also believe the Cosmere is just over 100 stars. I don't believe people can navigate further than that, but that's another theory). Knowing this, we can be sure that Ambition was already dead. Now I believe what happened was that Donation, seeing that mass of negative investiture near his system, didn't like it at all, and when Vasher used the destroy evil command, she influenced it to be THAT specific evil. Perhaps this is even related to his returned name, Warbreaker.

exactly what the title shows, why being a twinborn is dangerous, I know the risks of composition and becoming a savant in something, but meelan said that all twinborns are dangerous and shouldn't exist
-
now we know that the other dawnshard is called exist, Would it be possible to align this in a creation block?

I got my hands on the pdf of the book and swallowed it whole, I finished it a few hours ago, my head is exploding with ideas and things to say, I would like to know if I can say it here on this channel now. I've been warned before, I don't want to be banned from 17 shard

Which Twinborn do you think is most useful?
Alumínio replied to Dofurion's topic in Cosmere Discussion
If you asked me on any different day of my life I would say Duraluminium for the myriad of things it can do and how it would help me in life, but I've been dying of illness in my bed for 4 days, what I wouldn't give for F-gold right now -
I was thinking about commands and intention these days and how that works in the metal arts. We know that the command is the metal you ingest and the intention is to burn it to do thing X. but this thing X was explained by those who came before and because of that people don't understand that you can go deeper. for example, during Wax's childhood he realized that the metal bullet he was pushing was actually 3 metal parts and that's why the lines were divided, so how he sees things influences metal arts. Following this example, I am a pewterarm, I use my pewter, the command is to burn the pewter, but my intention is not to get faster but to heal better, if I did that I believe that part of the pewter's energy would be directed more towards healing than for strength. equally with tin if I want to enhance one sense more than another. I'm pushing a piece of metal but I change its center of gravity in my head so it can make curves (like Kelsier against the Inquisitor). In addition. we also have ferruchemy. Imagine if I'm an F-Tin and I want to store my vision, but if instead I store the color vision only and see it in black and white. if I store only the ability to feel spicy tastes instead of the entire sense of taste. If I eat f-steel, it will only store my metabolic speed instead of all physical speed. If you do it this way we can find several subcategories within each metal, more uses for each one and maybe some way to hack the magic, what do you think?

So why are there iron stations in secret projects? Are these satellites for landing ships? I honestly thought that the FTL way would be to connect stations and not that the ship itself could use faster-than-light travel, another thing I thought might be possible was to use the transport surge to go to the spiritual realm at point A and exit at point B

Guys, I'm super excited about Cosmere's RPG, so much so that recently I read absolutely everything in WOBs and Coppermind related to fragments, intentions, identity (this one had very little), connection and everything else, everything to make it possible for me create a mini planetarium in the cosmere with your own magic (which I intend to put together a homebrew as soon as possible) to play within the system. I would like your help to perfect my world and my magic, if you can I will be eternally grateful. I'll start: my planet is small and has no fragments (obviously) but I want the investiture inside to contain the intention of ruin, Ambition and domination (yes I like black in magic), the premise is, the world is between the selish system and trenodyta, so theoretically it would be possible for a domain intervention and a micro piece of Ambition to have fallen there, as well as there is extra energy of ruin hovering around the world I believe a little bit could be there. in this way that piece of Ambition breaks in two and takes one part from the intention of ruin and the other from domination. So I can have a magic system for Ruin + Ambition, one for domination + Ambition and a total mix perhaps, but as there isn't a shard inside the system wouldn't be something as flashy as Allomancy or surge Domain + Ambition can be something like this: when someone swears to serve another person, that person gains a part of the other's innate magic, thus creating a chain of command (dominance) with each other that is spreading (Ambition), and imagine that the attributes of innate investiture that they donate would be something from the hemalurgical table like strength or mental resilience etc.... Now the one of Ruin + Ambition could be the one I told you about before, you sacrifice life time in exchange for something, but it has to be decreasing. Imagine that if you sacrifice 10 years of your life to improve your studies, it would be like spending 8 years studying and not 10, if you sacrifice 20 it would be 12 years, so on. Cosmerically it makes sense now for a total mix, I think mass sacrifices would be good, I don't know, I'd like to know your opinion

Once again, forgive me, English is not my native language, but let's get to theory. If I make a metal mind that creates a huge bendaloy bubble that takes my entire ship and inside it, in the part where the passengers are (coated with aluminum perhaps) I put a cadmium bubble, in addition to making the ship go faster with F-steel (maybe that's why steel mind awakens) I think this would be the closest to FTL, it would need a way for the bubble to move with the ship, but maybe iron stations 1, 2, 3... that we saw in the secret projects are a bendaloy bubble tunnel perhaps?

I'm looking for books that might be similar to the way of kings (in world) that Dalinar reads, if anyone has any recommendations of any kind I'll accept
-
once again windrunner with stoneward behind by 1~2%, it doesn't surprise me since I'm an older brother and that relative who connects all branches of the family

First of all, sory for my english, i am from brazil, because of that i almost never respond or make a new topic, but this ideia come with streng in my mind. a ne way to get around the hemalurgical failure would be to access an aluminum metal mind, keeping your own identity could be a way to avoid this because theoretically when you touch the mind you would feel more like yourself (theory) or it would intensify its cognitive aspect, right?

how are you? remember that last year we talked about a hemalurgy manual, I swear that when I went back to the forums I looked for your name to see it and thank you, I thought the feruchemy was only kinetic when touched
-
What is the difference between allomancy and ferruchemy? One of the investiture is kinetic and the other is static, and if the hemalurgical metals that steal allomantic abilities actually steal kinetic abilities, instead of stealing physical allomancy, steel steals physical kinetic powers. If we go that way, there are dozens of variations we can do with each spike. edit:English is not my native language so I won't delve too much into the topic myself, I prefer to keep it concise so you can follow along

Forgive me, I got confused when writing, I want to know how they actually stuck the stone in the spiritual realm, something that I thought was impossible, because there isn't a place for agreement wobs. Could it be that they made some mistake with the connection or converted the precious stone into a pure investiture?
