  1. The general consensus seems to be that it'll be related to accepting that either Kaladin can't protect literally everyone, or that he needs to trust other people to protect those who cannot protect themselves, or to accept that not everyone NEEDS to be protected 24/7/365 (though Rosharan calendars are different so it wouldn't literally be 24/7/365 verbatim).
  2. Every time someone brings up Scadrial's canned food supply I remember the Great Atium Conspiracy; that TLR lined the inside of some/most/all (depends) of the outgoing (offworld) cans with Atium to ensure that basically no other being from Scadrial could get their hands on it for any purpose. What he intended to do with that Atium afterwards, no idea. But it's worth a fortune on Scadrial now, in era 2, so if someone retrieved the stuff... (if people are curious, I can search r/cosmere for the original conspiracy theory post, and link it here.)
  3. As a Lightweaver I feel like I'd just be restating the obvious, speaking meaningful personal truths, and admitting the things you may not like are true is what you'd need to speak to progress. I guess I could try and add more to it but again, it seems redundant.
  4. Actually trav is slightly more correct here; Chromium allomancy can prevent a Shardblade from being summoned. So assuming that the Mistborn can at least sneak up on the Radiant at some point, they could Leech the Radiant long enough to get a solid Pewter punch to their spine and, well, the Leeching would also prevent any healing, so... Deceased Radiant.
  5. Honestly I just want an Aviar that works like mild Pewter allomancy.
  6. She does literally deface/destroy all depictions of herself (or at least the artistic ones, which makes her sort of an anti-lightweaver which is kinda cool). I'm definitely not biased by being a Lightweaver myself nope.
  7. easy: politely ask spren to become a fabrial. ...wait most of those are lesser spren, that probably wouldn't work...
  8. That makes it sound like the coolest rave party in the Cosmere. Storms, yes.
  9. Awesome. Thanks for the WoBs. Makes me wonder if there's a potentially complex Cognitive component to Electrum Allomancy, and nobody has figured it out yet.
  10. Yeah, so a [Stormlight]
  11. We do know SOME stuff about Fortune. Not all of it is from Mistborn, sure, but it's still there... Well, based on my understanding of Electrum, normally it shows you a set of possible future outcomes, based on what is likely to happen next. Under specific circumstances you might be able to constrain the possible futures enough to compact the electrum shadows down to only a select few. If there are unlikely but still possible futures, they might show up if the likely futures are similar enough that there's only one electrum shadow for them (i.e. walking down a path and looking left vs right but all else is the exact same).
  12. Ok the real answer is Fortune, which is basically the same thing as "quantum" as an explanation for "weird inexplicable science stuff".
  13. I think it has something to do with quantum decoherence. It shows you other possible futures based on probability, so if there's a 0% chance that you, for example, spontaneously explode, then you won't see that happen. ...Which means if you DO see it that should be cause for concern.
  14. Been thinking about my favorite allomantic metal again... Started wondering if a skilled/near savant Oracle could start to trim down the number of future selves they see, down to like a top 5 or 3 or something of likeliest futures. That starts to get pretty close to Atium (without the mental boost), though, so i dunno. Also, a skilled Oracle could probably come up with some sort of subtle hand gesture that their past(but actually present) self could see, and use that to instantly be like "ah that's the best timeline of the bunch, let's follow that shadow's path" or "oh jeez that one didn't end well let's avoid that". Also of course the best feruchemy to pair with Electrum would be Zinc to replicate the other half of Atium.
  15. Being bound by Intent is also part of what I like about the "honor will be reforged as 10 sub-shards" theory. There's variety, different perspectives, like the 10 orders themselves. If one sub-shard can't act to enact a certain solution, another might be able to instead.
  16. That would be bad, because then nightblood would be partially exposed all the time. As we see that leads to Bad Things(tm).
  17. An alternative to Steris being revealed as a pure Atium misting is that she's the first revealed misting of a new Atium alloy. That would be a fascinating reveal for the end of Era 2, and possibly lead in nicely to the start of Era 3 with more of them being revealed throughout the trilogy.
  18. Actually all god metals can be alloyed with all 16 base metals. So you can have 16^2 metals. 256 Allomantically viable metals (x3 for all 3 metallic arts' effects for 768 effects total) actually you can also alloy god metals together. so that's... ... A lot. Too much. Thousands of metals.
  19. Is that for sure confirmed? or is that just standard belief because Atium doesn't exist anymore? Genuinely asking.
  20. Honestly I think it would be more fitting if it was revealed that she was an Atium misting. She plans for the future all the time as it is, and she would have no way of knowing until Atium reappeared in the Pits (or if Marsh feels generous with his stash for compounding).
  21. I believe there's a WoB that constantly tapping Bronze would leave you feeling like you've just woken up from a really refreshing sleep 100% of the time in terms of how you feel while awake. So Compounding would let you stay like that forever, which, personally, I would really enjoy.
  22. Yeah, aluminum blocks investiture based healing.
