I am worried about what has happened the last few times the tried this. Also I am sad for the last part of what will probably be the death of a franchise

It does raise the question of where they come from. Perhaps they were created by the unification of several lesser spren or by the direct personal splintering of Honor?
-
Ruin hates to do that and Harmony using him to much could unbalance the shard. The point of Harmony is to maximize free will by giving little nudges not smashing evil people. Cultivation was unable to kill Odium even with Honor and her side and I don't think having Harmony and Endowment will change that.
-
Vin only held Preservation for a few minutes hours at most and her entire life was literally composed of moments that preservation designed to teach her that it was possible to protect by killing. Her interpretation of the shard would actually probably be something more like protection. Pruning grows back eventually and it tends to make the pruned individual stronger so count that out. We have no idea what Endowment is up to or if they are up to anything. Harmony from my understanding sees himself as a guiding force not a combative one so his direct combat application is highly limited. These are not exactly members I want on my God Seal team 6.

I would like an offensive against Braize at some point though no war in human history has been won by defense alone and I can't think of a realistic ending that does not involve an assault on damnation at some point.

Although Syl says the presses is "less messy" you are creating a sentient individual so I doubt it is simple. Also spren take centuries to age without a bond I imagine many parents would be a bit put off with that.

Book 5 will end with The everstorm being destroyed. Taln will go back to Braize with a select team as a bodyguards so that he can hold the oathpact. The team will include Kaladin, Szeth, and Ash. This will buy some time for the members of team radiant to prep for the desolation that will get kicked off once Taln (who will still be comatose this entire time) gets recaptured(I think the fused know his weaknesses by now). The back 6 will include interludes with team Braize's exploits and end with Odium sawing off a part of himself to escape Honor's binding as he realizes that the potential for damage on Roshar is to great and that he must make a strategic retreat.

But if you were bonded to multiple spren including the stormfather you might start getting somewhere...

I think Nalan has better things to do then follow around junior skybreakers and their is only one of him.

It is like having an invincible older partner who can follow you around and give good advice from hundreds of years of skybreaking experience.

It could be incredibly useful if you have a large source of water nearby. Basically grants waterbending. Also missile deflection by generating wind. And in personal combat you could pin an opponent to the floor quite easily as Kaladin does while sparing usefull if you don't want to kill them quickly. Also generating a vacume on earth could suffocate large numbers of opponents Vader style...

Could we be looking at a spren who bonded several times in the future? That could be realy useful.

I can absolutely guarantee that at some point Dalinar will die he is in his mid 50s (earth years) and he has not exactly taken care of himself (note years of alcoholism). Even if he does ascend or figure out some other form of immortality even Adonalsium did not last for ever. See here I am proudly stating that at some eventuality Dalinar will die.
-
I assume/hope that many of these people will die of natural causes. I also wonder how one can become immortal using stormlight's systems and what happens to the spren of radiants who die after swearing the 5th ideal.

As of when? It is all together possible that the death of one or more could make the total three and if not then were did the sibling come from? They could be hiding it for one reason or another, it could be unstable and Odium's forces have already surrounded the purelake as of the end of Oathbringer.
-
Even if all 10 other shards did want to fight Odium I am not sure that they would be much good at it. Almost none of the shards have shown any capacity at teamwork so they would likely get in each others way. Also what are the likes of Endowment, Harmony, and Cultivation going to do against Odium they are not exactly combat oriented shards the way Rayse is.
-
Firstly has several meanings and we don't actually know where Kaladin was born. Secondly Odium's currently trying to avoid the contest of champions. Thirdly I think that the spirit of the contract (which is what Odium claims to be bound to) does imply something like "if I win" so if he looses or could loose I don't think the promise holds.
-
We have no indication that they are unaware and it is possible that for some reason that this perpendicularity is not used. It is also possible that this perpendicularity belongs to my beloved fourth shard theory and is not open to most honor/cultivation spren for that or some other reason.
