  1. It's this set, at this frame:
  2. As per this post, the Final Empire is about the size of Europe Its alloys can make people into mistings, and alloying it with other God Metals can give people access to other magic systems. Becoming a Lerasium savant would make someone ascend to Preservation. I think it just strengthens someone's Connection to a Shard's Investiture.
  3. Well, most dead Shardblades are lost, considering there should have been hundreds or thousands of Radiants, but only around 80-100 Shardblades are known in the present day. There were more Radiants in the Feverstone Keep vision then there are Shardblades in the modern day, so it's assumed that most shardblades are lost or hoarded by some group or another (the Skybreakers, the Shin, etc.)
  4. But this is the first known time a Herald has used their own honorblade since Honor's death. The Heralds know their surges better than anyone else, and also have access to more investiture than any Shin surgebinder. But we've also never seen a Herald and a non-herald use the same Honorblade, so we don't actually know what, if any, surgebinding buffs you get from specifically being a Herald (other than the access to investiture directly from the Spiritual Realm)
  5. I can't access the quote right now, but at least on Roshar Hoid was unable to give all the info on Odium until Dalinar guaranteed Hoid's safety through the agreement, and this presumably extended to his noninteraction with Odium's forces
  6. I'd say that an even further issue is that mistwraiths are descended from humans, so genetics becomes even weirder at that level. but if they have DNA at all, they may be able to reproduce with their own personal genetic code
  7. Probably not, but it also depends on how F-aluminum works. AFAIK we're unsure whether an aluminummind can be tapped. But even if it can, that would require Kelsier to make an unkeyed aluminummind to allow other Feruchemists to access his private metalminds, which hits the same question of how Hoid would've gotten that. So it's easier to say that Kelsier made an unkeyed coppermind that Hoid took. But that still does not explain why.
  8. Hemalurgy can spike away the ability to grow a gemheart, if it comes to that.
  9. well... Odium will be the only one gone. He said he cannot recall the Fused or the voidspren. From chapter 112, Terms
  10. this looks to be referring to the Shattering of Adonalsium. Perhaps the Vessel Koravellium Avast regrets that, or perhaps the Shard Cultivation believes that the Shattering was necessary for the Cosmere to grow, but reuniting the Shards should be done at this point. Or perhaps this is all entirely wrong.
  11. Oh for sure. It was probably the best place for me to start because of how detailed and engaging it is.
  12. I started with The Way of Kings as well! it's a deep dive to start off with, or at least i thought so
  13. Hi there! Which book did you start with?
  14. I feel like the Edgedancer 4th or 5th will be something like "I will help those in need" or "I will act on what i have heard". not just listening, but doing
  15. This could also be part of the reason why Plate breaks, but the only Shardblade to ever take damage was Ishar's Honorblade. Lesser spren are, well, lesser than Radiant spren, and so their metal is weaker. beyond that, Plate effects the wearer and has to move, whereas the Shardblade just appears, disappears, and changes shape. Plate does more things when it is summoned than a Blade does. And for the narrative, Brandon needed Blades to be mostly indestructible, but couldn't have characters walking around in unbreakable power armor.
  16. from what we've seen, it seems like the gemstones were not part of Radiant Plate
  17. im referring to the end of WoR, with the fight in the Highstorm between Szeth and Kaladin. they're gonna have a lot of mutual interaction on their journey, which is funny because Szeth died in the fight against Kaladin last time.
  18. The windspren Kaladin used in RoW to make the pillar around Lirin during the Highstorm were seperate from his armor. His Highstorm powers are separate from his Shardplate, and some people think they may not even be normal Windrunner powers
  19. Chapter 12: a way to help
  20. Veil was pretty much openly bi, and Shallan was kinda "proper" and repressed about it.
  21. as strange as it is to say, Szeth might have the most positive interaction in Book 5 with the person who killed him
  22. no, the point goes through the ship. like a drill shape, i suppose. so it should be able to pass through almost anything pretty easily.
  23. they would at least need to get the bomb over to the ship, since a flying bomb would probably be slow enough to be stopped at this point. And coinshots could not throw it over either, since they have no weight to push with.
  24. the only Herald to be working with Odium in this Desolation is Nale, but I don't think Nale could convince the ordinary people that the Singers are the rightful rulers of the land. No one would support him who doesn't already.
  25. if they know what to look for and if fabrial metal isn't invested while in use. but to do that the allomancer needs to have their own weight, which they couldn't do on their own weightless ships.
