After returning to the bunker, Ethil told the others about what he had seen. They told him it must have been a lifeless, and explained lifeless to him. Ethil was still new to exploring the Cosmere, and the Alleyverse. He didn't know that much yet. A few minutes passed, and the lifeless creature turned the corner, and began approaching "Wait..." the creature said "Wait...up" This creature fit Silph's description perfectly, except, it seemed sapient. Turning to Silph, Ethil whispered "I thought you said they were mindless. How does this guy know how to talk?" "They are mindless. This is something else" silph said. "What is it then?" Ethil asked harshly. All he received from the others was a couple of shrugs, so, knowing that they wouldn't escape easily, Ethil grabbed his dagger in one hand, and his dueling cane in the other. An interesting combination, and stepped back into the chamber to confront the man. "Who are you? Why are you here?" he demanded of the creature.

That's why I got killed in LG 46, and at least one other game too! If only Rath would have known that I was probably going to focus on some of the inactives next.

Ethil only knew one way in or out of the hidden tunnels, because it was the first time he had come. When he reached the hatch, he slowly peeked out, and saw a person. He looked like he was already dead... but... living. A little bit freaked out about the guy standing there, he slammed the hatch closed, dropped to the ground, and ran back towards the bunker.

Great Game! Thanks to Elandera and Walin for joining with me to defend Walin that one turn a while back. Otherwise the game would have been over much quicker. Also GG to the elim team. I'm glad I could catch one of you before I died.

I don't have a name for it that I've confirmed yet, but The essentials are that the magic is sourced from various underground watersources. (Something to do with the way the planet was formed caused these springs to release magical water.) The streams all start high up in the mountains, and as you go further down, the water becomes diluted with normal water, thus making the magic less powerful. Most people don't even know that there different magic types from different streams, because the streams combine into one large river. There is lore that this river contains magical powers, and many people go to the river for health, fortune or other forms of luck. It's still a work in progress, and I don't have all the notes on the magic system with me right now. But magic can affect things on three levels. Physical, temporal, or spiritual. For example one type of magic is pushing/pulling. In the physical realm, you can pull objects towards you or push them from you pushing and pulling through space (kindof like coinshots push and pull.) In the temporal you can push and pull objects through time. (Kindof like doctor strange when he plays with the apple in the library) In the spiritual, you can push and pull through spirituality. Understanding spiritual magic has always been the most difficult for people in world. But in this specific case, pushing and pulling changes someone's spiritual location. I kindof like to think of moving a spiritual object would be like moving it's morals. I don't think I explained it all that well and it's definitely not complete(there are supposed to be 7 different types of magic, not just push/pull. There's also health, fortune, etc) , but hopefully I explained it well enough to get some feedback.

Basically, I looked for an alliteration from Brandon's works that would also be an under appreciated, but pretty neat power. Cadmium Compounder. Stores breath, slows time. Imagine an entire metalmind full of breath. Jumping in a lake with a stomach full on cadmium, The cadmium is the metalmind. Compounds the breath, while slowing time by burning the metalmind. Survives underwater for months. Emerges king of the fish. I am now aquaman.

Black holes can only consume a star so fast, so consuming an entire galaxy is a very slow process. A major incident may be something like accidentally causing the world the bank is on to be sent back in time, Nuking a sun, sending it's matter all across the solar system, causing all life in the solar system to start dying immediately, with now chance of replacing the sun. Or simply spiking a cookie with Lerasium, Atium, Harmonium and Trellium all at once.... EDIT: I'd like to open up an account for me personally. I will keep 50 chrysts on me, but the remaining 45 will be put in my account. Also, I'd like to open an account for the Informants, but, I've never been given the "Official papers" that most other guilds have signed to make them official guilds, so I'm not sure if The Informants are technically a guild that can open up an account. Also, because most of the members are private, I'm not sure if the money should be as much. What do you think?

But while doing so, he also readied his dagger for a second defensive, then a counter-offensive attack. "I'm fine. It's hardly a paper cut. No need to worry about me. However, when they heard the sound at the door, they both hesitated. Neither partner finishing their maneuver. It didn't sound like a knock, so they decided it better to discreetly discover what was placed at the door.

Fixed. I also changed the lover wincon based on your suggestion. I was debating doing that from the beginning, but decided not to put it in. Basically it gives the Oracle a small advantage. They will know what role they are going into the day cycle, when no one else can be sure that they have the same role they started with. It is basically the insomniac in the "One Night Ultimate Werewolf" game.

On another note, about a month ago, I suggested a new game style, called a One night, or one cycle game, and provided an example game. I got some feedback on it, which inspired me to look back on it again, and revise it. I think it would be fun to run. Here is a copy of the rules for it. Anyway, I'd like to get some more feedback on balance issues and to see if it needs any clarification. Does it seem like it would be fairly balanced? If this conversation is more fit for the discord, I recently got an account over there, and we could move the discussion over there. I'd also like some feedback on whether or not this type of game fits in the SE forum, or if it'd be better played somewhere else in the Shard. If it fits here, could I maybe get information on how to sign up to Co-GM some games, so that in the future, I would feel comfortable GMing this game?

This is going to be a new experience. Ethil thought, as he saw Silph flying directly at him. Especially since he'd never really fought with daggers. "I had to have some chance to get a solid hit! I mean you fly for Harmony's sake!" If Ethil had his dueling canes, he would be able to block this attack easily, but this dagger only extended his reach by about 14 inches, and it was one of the longest daggers he'd ever seen. The dueling cane gave him nearly 3 feet of additional reach. As Silph closed the Gap, Ethil prepared himself. He stepped into a rudamentary form of flamestance, of which he had learned an adaptation of for dueling canes, and tried to parry the attack. He almost missed, but mostly deflected Silph. Silph's dagger sliced through Ethil's sleeve, and knicked the back of his arm. drawing a small drop of blood, and a slight sting. "Alright, Now that we've both had an unfair attack, what do you say we keep this within 6 feet of the ground? That gives you some leniency to learn the dagger while using your powers, and also allows us to actually spar, instead of delving into a game of investiture, which you would probably win" Ethil said with a chuckle.
