Welcome Seraph! Have an upvote! Anyways, around here, we like to greet each other by saying "my life to yours, my breath become yours" from Warbreaker. Your turn! If you could choose to change the ending for one of Sanderson's books, Which would it be? And how? If you answer that you would leave them all the same, then I will rephrase my question. if you had to change the ending on one of sanderson's books, which one would it be? And how?

Hello xinarin! Have a few upvotes as a welcoming gift. Anyways! I am looking for breaths to reach a higher heightening. Would you be able to repeat back to me "My life to yours, my breath become yours." It would mean a lot to me, and I would be willing to compensate you!

So, We know that someone saved Walin last time, because he had 3 votes on him, but Elan's vote didn't show up in the write up. Which allowed him to live. After reviewing the roles again, it seems like it is the Hand of Sauron. There are a few possible scenarios that I see. The first is that Walin was being protected because they are from the Agent faction. I think that possibility is pretty self explanatory. The second possibility that I see is that they were being protected because the Agents of Mordor don't want the village to get information, and the less lynches there are, the harder it is for the village team. The third possibility, is looking at the time the votes and actions were submitted, it is possible that the Hand of Sauron had put in their action before DoS placed their vote. So the Hand of Sauron wanted a lynch on Bort, because they knew that Bort wasn't of their faction, because of that possibility, I'd be willing to soft clear Bort. While I don't necessarily agree that Walin is one of the Elim factions, I think it's best if we can lynch him, to at least start getting information, so: Walin. Vote Count so far: Xinoehp (2): Alvron, Bort Alvron (1): Xinoehp Rathmaskal (1): Dalinar Walin (3): Rath, Elan, CadCom. A bit about game mechanics that may have been discussed, but I missed if it was, so I will ask here. This is the only kill role that I saw, and they are part of the Agents of Mordor faction. So does that mean that the Gondor spies don't have a kill action, even though their goal is toutnumber the other two factions? Or do they have a team kill? Based on the game so far, there has only been one kill per night, so that would be the Mordor Assassins. That does seem odd that a faction, whose goal is to outnumber the other factions cannot submit any kills. But, then again, Jondesu did say that this game is simple, but deceptively tricky too. If it is the case that the Gondor spies don't have a win condition, then their entire goal is to survive. So that brings me to discuss possible numbers of each team. There's a total of 16 players from the beginning. 3 confirmed village roles, and 3 confirmed Agent of Mordor roles. (There would have to originally be at least 2 Mordor assassins for it to be necessary to explain that if both go out to make a kill, no kill will be made, plus the Hand of Sauron). Because the wincon for the Gondor spies would have to be achieved without them having a kill, I would expect a larger than normal team for them. Perhaps 8 companions, 3 agents of Mordor, and 5 gondor spies? Or maybe 9, 3 and 4? With less than 8 hours left in the cycle, it seems like the accusations are at pretty much a climax. Now would be a good time to Role claim. We all know you have an antidote vial. Are you suggesting you also have a bottle of Poison? What about your alignment? Will you give that away? EDIT: I also just noticed that of the 3 PM's I started D1, two people have been killed. Guys! I'm trying to work on solving the mystery. Please stop killing the people I PM with!

Mid-Range Game 30/Anonymous Game 2: - Scadrian Black Ops
CadCom replied to Seonid's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Overall, I really enjoyed this game! This was my first blackout game of any type, and I loved it. Thank you for GMing this @Seonid (sorry, tag feature isn't working right now.) Anyway, I think Blackout games are my new favorite type of game. It brings a whole new element to it. I was glad I made it to the end and survived. but I think it would have been fun to have been body swapped. I'm going to have to read through the dead doc to see if anyone shared their thoughts about being body swapped. -
As the woman Ida walked off into the distance, Ethil chased after her to thank her for that exceptional training. Ethil had been at the training grounds for about two weeks now, and he felt sufficient in self defense with dueling canes. As long as he kept practicing, that could be a great advantage in hand to hand combat. As he sat meditating how quickly he had learned under Devaan's supervision, he thought about his past. "Remember Ethil," He heard his mentor, Jinrit, say. "We are merely informants. You must be more careful. It is not your job to risk your life to seek information. You merely trade valuable information." Ethil had forgotten that. He decided to spy on some dangerous people, and was almost caught. He had put himself in a dangerous situation. Jinrit continued "I have taught you everything that I know. The first of those rules is survival. I know that you enjoy my company, but I believe it is time to go our separate ways. It is in my best interest if I distance myself from you. Though I do hope that this danger passes and we are able to cross paths again in the future. I must leave you now." With that, Jinrit turned, and disappeared around the corner. A couple month's later, the man, Thagher, the leader of the Town Mob had nearly caught up to Ethil. It didn't help that Ethil continued trying to spy. One more day, and Ethil would be caught and killed. It was time to skip town. So he left. He left everything behind, and ended up in AlleyVillage. Hopefully here, he would be able to start fresh. It was with this in mind, that Ethil decided to enroll in Devaan's Training ground. Ethil had no investiture he could use for a direct attack, so he had to learn how to use what he had if he wanted to survive. After his meditation session, he went to seek out Devaan. Devaan was speaking to others, so Ethil waited silently out of sight, As soon as it looked like he was about to wrap up, Ethil began approaching. He caught Devaan between conversations, and stated "I want to learn to become a better spy. In addition to using Dueling canes, I would like to learn the dagger and the sword, as well"

Alright everyone, I'm back from my vacation, so I should have time to put together some sort of analysis today, It should come before rollover, but further discussion by others would be great too!

How far away are we from getting all of our cards and being able to go for the assassin?
-
So I don't think there's yet much to go on. It's almost like a d1 lynch. So, if I just throw a poke vote, I hope that won't upset anyone. @Bort Bort

hey guys, I'm here. I'm in Disneyland RN, but I'll try to do some analysis in a bit

So, preservation, first contract and tevidian tekiel are the three that have the most to do with mistborn, but dustbringers has dust, which is kind of like ash.

"My dueling canes are no match for a shard blade. These are merely made if wood. I would never attempt to fight you" Ethil began, as he slowly walked closer. I am new in this part of town, and just trying to grasp what's going on. As he took another step, he swung his dueling cane unexpectedly at Ida's knees, causing her to buckle over. This gave Rohan and Ethil a slight time advantage, but probably only hurt Ida's ego, and only temporarily. While Ethil knew he was no match for Ida alone, hopefully him and Rohan could match her. Plus, what no one knew but Ethil is that his dueling cane, though it has a wooden exterior has an aluminum core, so as to be able to block a shard blade.

Ethil Followed Devaan's instructions. He ran over, and got close enough to put up a cadmium bubble. While these two fought, hopefully Cadmium could remain unnoticed just outside of their attention. If not, he was prepared with his dueling canes to defend himself. Technically, Devaan had told him to fight, but that was hard to just jump into, in attack mode. Every other time he fought, he acted in self defense, not as the iniator. After a few moments with all three inside the Cadmium bubble, Ethil finally got up the courage to approach and join the fight. He began walking up as confidentally as he could.

Let's see if we can get higher activity this phase! --- RP: Caddor enjoyed getting ahead of the group. This time he got far enough ahead to stop and make a large pot of stew before everyone else caught up. Now he was just waiting for them
-
This was it! A chance for Ethil to prove himself to himself. A chance to see IF He'd really learned anything. Unsure of why these two were fighting in the first place and unsure what to do, Ethil ended up here. He got into stance, just like devaan had taught him and began sparring, knife against duelling canes. It turned out he was outmatched, and he could tell that he wouldn't last much longer, but he had held off the man for longer than he expected though. Between breaths and strokes, Ethil managed to get out the words "What's going on? I- I am new here-- I'm just ...just trying to figure... out what's going on in this town!"
-
Sorry! I was out of town for the weekend. I'm back now, for a couple days. Hopefully, I can pay more attention!
-
Suddenly, Ethil realized stuff was happening around him. People were flying past in the blink of an eye, everyone avoiding his bubble. Time to stop burning I guess. He dropped his bubble and saw the corridors of the training ground in a frenzy. Maybe he could help! He hadn't learned much in the way of fighting others with investiture, but if he was lucky, he might be able to go up against another man without bringing investiture into the fight. But first to find out what was going on. Hurriedly, he ran towards the main hall, and doors, The path he took let him right to Devaan. "Master Devaan!" Ethil Shouted amongst the chaos! "What's going on? How can I help?"

I think that the vote count is at an astounding Walin (1): Elandera Kadgar(Dalinar Kholin) (1): Fifth Scholar Xinoehp512 (1): Cadcom. I dare say that this is an exciting D1 we've got so far.
-
I just remembered PM's are allowed in this game! I enjoy PM's even though things usually get pretty complicated, and it makes it easy to mess things up. You can expect PM's from me soon. Maybe not to everyone, but I'll get them to the people that seem like the best to speak with. Anyway, With less than 10 hours left left, I feel uncomfortable poke voting one of the new players, and they have already been poked by DoS. So, I will place my D1 vote on Xinoehp512, He just seems like he is backwards to me. Suomynona anonymouS. Anyone that thinks backwards can obviously not be on my team. @xinoehp512 On another note, though, I really have enjoyed your names from previous games. They've all been pretty clever. Now off to read the rules again! Edit: So, it seems like the companions are the typical village faction, and the Gondor spies are the typical elim faction, along with a third, somewhat neutral) faction that mixes things up, and that is the Agents of Mordor. Does anyone disagree with that?

Ethil awoke groggily. He had meant to take a short nap. It ended up being longer. Then to add on to that, Ethil sometimes accidentally started burning cadmium in his sleep. What ended up being a few hours for Ethil had been a couple of days for everyone else. Hopefully Devaan wasn't too angry with him. He really had to learn to control his sleep. Walking out of his room, he saw that it was night. So he decided to burn a little more cadmium until daytime came around so that he could continue to train. He was already getting a lot better at using the stalling tactic Devaan had taught him.

Hey, I'm checking in! I might not be the most active for the next couple of days! But I'll be here as much as possible!

Everyone should shame me now) 6. Orange. (not because it's a fruit) 7. Beatles (basically no opinion though) 8. Paul Mccartney( also almost no opinion though) 9. Most of the time, Olives are fine 10. then.

Hey! I am a Cadmium Compounder! You can ask me anything. As long as I'm not giving you info to steal my identity or sensitive personal information, I will answer it. Who knows, maybe I'll answer some of those questions as well. But probably not.

Just tried making a huge post. Copied it to my clipboard, and will now post it in word to find out how many characters it had. Just removed it from this post, and edited it to show this. EDIT, The original post I tried to post had over 180,000 words, and was originally 366 pages. The copied published post that was replaced by this one has 62,270 words , so it looks like the character limit might be 358,101 characters.so the image below reflects the character limit in

"Interesting." He mused out loud. "I didn't realize snowmen hibernated. Or perhaps the snowman is the hibernating form of some other, more majestic creature? Or maybe I'm just a sleepy snowman."

Ethil began to panic as he watched Devaan charge at him. His swift hands wielded a set of well-used dueling canes. Unsure of what to do, Ethil froze, for a split second. Then at the last second, instinct kicked in. He sidestepped in order to dodge the first attack, and get better footing. Then right before the second cane made contact with his shoulder, he raised his own cane, and blocked the attack. Feeling satisfied with himself, he was about to say something about how well he must have done, when he felt a sharp whack in his other shoulder.
