"Oh, I understand now." Wiltorn said, still waking up. "I shall join, give me about 10 minutes to get ready" Wiltorn stood up and walked to the changing room. He ran through his mind why he was here again. He could let no one know yet.
-
Groggily, Wiltorn opened his eyes, and squinted at Saba "I don't hear any fighting. I thought you meant we would be attacked"
-
Now that Wiltorn had gotten permission to stay within Saba's fortress, he stopped filling his identity minds and began tapping, just enough to restore his normal identity for a moment. Not knowing who you are in your memories can make things confusing. All of a sudden, a rush of identity began flowing into him. memories became clear. All of a sudden he knew who he was. Scenes with unfamiliar people changed into clear memories. He was the handsome man, with blonde hair and green eyes in his memories. the scenes all came from his own eyes. He always thought it was a strange feeling, when you connected your memories to yourself again.

Quick Fix Game 33 - Deception: Murder in the Cosmere
CadCom replied to Herowannabe's topic in Sanderson Elimination
if it's alright, I'd like to change from pinch hitter to player. I might not be the most active, but I should still be able to play. -
yeah, the rules say it's a one time unblockable kill analysis to come!

Good game for real this time. I almost virtually flipped a table! But thankfully you didn't get the right one!
-
I'm happy to be on the list too!

Seems like a valid argument. So, who are some of your suspects? Edit: this cycle has been super quiet and it's kind of bothering me.

game Would You Rather? -a Game
CadCom replied to The Tenth Pancake's topic in Forum Games & Random Stuff
Assuming like a school teacher, Khriss. I feel like she'd be better at teaching scholarly topics. But if you mean like a mentor, or life coach/teacher, Hoid. We've already seen his convoluted wisdom in stormlight archive. Would you rather be Kelsier before he snapped, or Marsh after he became an inquisitor? -
Glyphs is a red agent. The game continues. For my teams sake, I hope you don't get too lucky

So I was doing analysis, and I decided to look back into Phat, since he is one of the people that we have the most information on. I noticed that the cycle Kidpen died, Phat was the first vote on Kidpen, then changed, then returned to Kidpen. It looks like it was maybe Distancing, then backing off to stop votes from happening, then they kept happening, so he jumped on the bandwagon. Plus he changed his vote twice, which shows that he might be a brass ferring, trying to get stuff to hide from a scan, because he's becoming suspicious.Brass would be more useful to elims than to village, IMO. so for balance purposes, they might have brass Then he said that the synod attempted to kill Sart, but was unlucky. The same night that they used their kill to hit another person. WfY turned out to be village. Even though he was suspicious to most people, it still seems odd that they tried to kill 2 people in one night. This post made it so that anyone who did attack me would be afraid to admit it for fear of being killed. Whether they were village or not. I don't personally think that the spiked had any reason to attack me, because I was under suspicion, and might be made a lynch target later on. Phat probably just missed it, but who knows. The Spiked killed a villager, (rath), the Synod killed another villager (WfY) and someone attacked me. The spiked killed someone that has proven to offer quite a bit of analysis, which could be detrimental, The Synod killed off someone suspicious, and Someone attacked me because I was suspicious. That's usually the work of a confused villager. I don't think it would. And I don't think it cleared Sart. Sart claimed to be role blocked. I was protected. That's different actions completely. Sart could still be elim. Plus his character description in the original post says he's a seemingly faithful follower of the Lord Ruler. My analysis! Either Sart got lucky and escaped Phatt's analysis on a technicality or Phat is a possible elim. EDIT: I miscounted in this post. There's 9 of us.

I attend UVU, But this semester I'm pretty busy, so I might be able to pop in if there is a time when people are meeting, but probably wouldn't be able to stay long. I am working full time in South Jordan and live up in that area too, then I come down for classes from 4-7 each day, at which time, I usually try to head home as quick as possible. But let me know when you are planning a meeting, and I could pop in, if there ever is one at UVU. Times that could work for me to make an appearance are 3-4 PM mon-thurs I finish classes at 6:45, so I could also stop by on my way out for a few minutes also mon-thurs. This semester, BYU will most likely be too far out of my way to meet, but in future semesters, that might not be such a problem. Don't try to plan for me alone.

So if we restart the clock from the time when we realized the game wasn't over yet, They would have 1 day and 22 hours (ish) from Hero's post. Does the Countdown still apply in sudden death mode? If so, Then the Red team has approximately until 8:20 PM Mountain time tonight to put in their final votes.
-
Well, That leaves 8 of us. On a typical night, we see a standard kill and an elim kill. That will leave 6 of us for tomorrow. If we have two elims left, then that means LyLo comes at 2-2. If we lose two village tonight, then we are down to 4 elims, and 2 villagers. Another mislynch puts us dangerously close to Lylo. at 3-2, going into the night. Alternatively, if we catch one of the Eliminators tonight, then we are at 5-1, and a mislynch only puts us at 4-1, giving us an entire extra cycle. Lynch vote tally Jondesu(2): Sart, Steel Steel(4): Phattemer, Randuir, Bort, Xino now 2-3 So it looks like we still have at least one vote manipulation role I plan on doing a better analysis in just a moment, or maybe a couple of hours

Yes, I am a pewter ferring. And while it's not a guaranteed, I doubt the Elim team would have two Pewter ferrings. Which should soft clear me. No, it doesn't but can I argue that even though Pewter is useful, It isn't the most useful ability to an eliminator team? I know that it might be subjective, but If I were a full feruchemist, I would use my abilities to try to put in more actions, or negate votes against elims, or scan for roles among others to try to kill off more powerful people.

Breeze. I expect his signature to resemble the wind Would you rather watch Wayne die, or Lopen? -
Ethin Hallil returned to Tathwingden's chamber of commerce after going out for lunch. He was holding the morning's edition of Terris Daily in his hands. Immediately he found Leidene "Leidene, I was not aware that you were also vying for the position of the Leader of the Synod. Tell me, What are your views on infrastructure? And why are they superior to those of Count Olaf?" After having a rousing discussion of politics and ethics with Leidene, Ethil no longer knew who to vote for, but for the time being, he chose to leave his vote where it was due to laziness. The real reason he had come this day was to petition the Synod for advertising space for his SCUBA business as well as a small business loan. Prior to the leak of information that Spiked had infiltrated the Synod, Ethin made good business with his SCUBA diving classes. Now no one was interested. He knew the best in town were working on that investigation. So he left it to them. Among the most prominent investigators, he knew that they all expected at least one of each other, and one of the remaining citizens. All Ethin could do was be cooperative, and hope the mob didn't lynch him for no good reason, so he decided to begin focusing on his business again.

Quick Fix Game 33 - Deception: Murder in the Cosmere
CadCom replied to Herowannabe's topic in Sanderson Elimination
I'll sign up as a Pinch hitter this time. And if there's a spec doc, I'll take that too. It's just that I'm super busy with full time school (that started this week) and full time work. If you end up needing a pinch hitter, My name will be Rettih Chnip -
Svrakiss and Roial are both red agents. For your record you have two red agents left, and for the sake of my team, I hope you don't get too lucky I will go in and update the game board to show accurate information.

So I just want to respond to this by arguing that there already was one Pewter Ferring on the Elim team, and one on the village team. If there is a third, then it's most likely they're a villager. No matter whose team I'm on, Wouldn't I have an interest to self-protect. Honestly I agreed with all the suspicions thrown last day cycle, and didn't have a reason to try to protect anyone else, because I had no idea who the Elims would try to attack. Yes, Rand, my abstentions from voting D1 and D2 were intentional. Does that confirm your theory? RP Ethin Hallil stood up among the confusion and cleared his throat. "I would like to make two motions to vote for the new Synod Leader. First motion, would be myself. I believe that I would be a great leader. I know my way around Scadrial, as I have SCUBA dived in many of the canals across most dominances, and I've also gone to many of the oceans. I've managed to stay under the lord ruler's Radar in my travels, and have never been questioned by an inquisitor. I know many secrets of Scadrial and would be a great leader. "The other motion I offer to vote is for Count Olaf. He has been among us for a long time. Longer than the Spiked could have possibly been infiltrating us. I know that Phattemer has shown himself to be one of us. But we can never guarantee that! Better to go with someone we all know and trust"

I recognize that strategy from playing the actual game. Sorry it didn't work out for you this time around. There are also other strategies from infinite guess clues that I have seen too, and it just takes getting used to different playstyles of different codemasters! Overall, Good Game everyone! I don't see any reason why we can't post the master board yet, or the keycard, but I will wait just to make sure. One other thought, Red team got unlucky with having multiple of their cards being associated with Sel, whereas, on the other hand, Blue team got lucky by having almost all the Roshar cards being blue cards. But such is the luck of the draw!
-
To be completely honest, I keep starting to do a kidpen analysis, but then I get bored and distracted by something else. So I will wait and maybe tomorrow, I will have more desire to do actual analysis. With regards to the couple of claims against me, I'll see what I can address there. Regarding this, I don't think I was suggesting I knew Kidpen was elim, just that if he was elim, I was giving my opinion as to where the other Elim votes would be. Yes, I've only voted once. But I feel I've expressed fair reasoning for that. First cycle, I didn't really get on, and second cycle, I was waiting to hear from Snip, then by the time Snip posted, I was unable to get back on. I was expecting to be able to check near the end of the cycle, but IRL plans got in the way. I can't really provide any defense here. Either you're right or you're wrong. I can't remember if youchanged your vote or not, but like I mentioned at the beginning, I keep getting distracted, and don't really have the motivation to mount an analysis Right now. Maybe later today, or the beginning of the next day cycle.

@Shallan+Adolin Welcome to the forums! Around here, we like to greet each other by saying "My life to yours, my breath become yours" You should try it! Would you rather be a windrunner or a lightweaver?

Wiritos, we can also makes sure that someone tags you so you get a notification when new signups come up. Then you can review the game rules and see if you are interested in playing. Like Rand said, this next game is supposedly very different from even what we are used to, so while you are welcome to join, know that most of us will probably also be confused, and may not be able to offer too much help.
