  1. I think (like many others do) that Knights of Wind is highly likely. Could be Knights of the Wind, if we want to have the ‘t’ in there. It wouldn’t be a perfect palindrome then, but lots of Rosharan names switch one letter around. Another option is that one of the letters might be replaced with an ‘H’, or maybe just an ‘H’ added in. that’s another thing they do to still maintain technical symmetry. See: Shallan, Shalash, etc. Knights of Honor would fit well there.
  2. All of the Mraize-Shallan interactions are a little weird TBH. I found another inconsistency somewhat similar to this. Copied from my notes:
  3. Is it just me or does it seem like everything is going down on Tuesday???

I got a math test, 14 math assignments due, there’s the big GT Annual Livestream, my SE game’s possibly final cycle ends, and it’s the first day of December. It’s weirdly busy.

      I'm finishing RoW then too!

  4. I can confirm that SfS is the vote remover I was in contact with. Why did you remove a vote of of Aman? I think I’m going to keep assuming that you’re village, but that maybe Aman and the other Vote Remover are Elim.
  5. Yep. Can confirm. As far as I know, TJ is TLR. I was in contact with one vote remover, but I had a fairly strong village read on them. Not so sure now...
  6. Lol. Also I found that a more accurate but still simple number is 1.141. So just multiple or divide by 1.141 for rosharan-earth conversion.
  7. We could do off-shard things. Like, for games and stuff. Among Us, Skribbl.io, stuff like that. Maybe those of us with Minecraft accounts could make a server or something. Or just meet up on a minigame server.
  8. You could just multiply their age by 1.1
  9. Haven’t we actually see this happen already? Kal broke his oaths, he killed Syl. But he was able to save her when he said his next oath.
  10. Wait, did 2 vote removers use their action on Aman?!? Also, are we really at LyLo? There’s 9 people left, and maybe 3 Elims. If 2 village die then we’d be at 3:4. or, wait, TLR doesn’t count for parity no matter how they’re aligned? So right now we’re at 3:5:1, lynch a villager we’d be at 3:3:1 and Elims win. Okay yep, LyLo. Since this is LyLo I’ll come out and say that I’m the AnonOB that TLR scanned before Fadran. I suggest that TLR reveal themselves too, but I’ll let them decide that, won’t reveal them myself.
  11. The skaa in Luthadel are almost equivalent to low ranked lighteyes! They can own businesses, conduct trade, be craftsmen. Even the plantation skaa were only regular slaves. Bridgemen are explicitly described as lower than regular slaves. Only the worst slave gets sent to the bridge crews. The rate of death is exponentially higher. This is obviously a somewhat pointless discussion, as they were both treated pretty horribly. Also it should be noted that comparing their suffering like this is only okay because they are completely fictional groups of people, if this was a discussion about irl groups of oppressed people it would be completely inappropriate.
  12. I just watched an amazing Netflix documentary called “The Social Dilemma” and it honestly changed my entire perspective of the internet. It’s a bunch of interviews with people who worked in Silicon Valley during the early stage of the internet and social media, people like the founder of Pinterest, and the engineer who invented the concept of the “like” button. All these people have since left those jobs, and are instead fighting against the economic business model of these huge tech companies that they used to work for.

It is an amazing documentary, and I don’t just think that you should watch it, I think that you need to watch it. It covers a conversation that not enough people are having, but it’s one that definitely needs to be had.

It should be noted that I am an insanely stubborn person, especially about things I support. So the fact that this documentary completely changed my mind about the internet, something that I spend a lot of time on, should speak volumes.

    2. Spren of Kindness

      Spren of Kindness

I heard about that in one of my classes!  I want to watch it, but I don't have Netflix.

  13. Hey, you PMd me first also could you explain your notation? I don’t get all those letters and tildes and slashes and everything.
  14. Uggghhhhhhhhhh siblings. need I say more?
  15. Essentially just a blue circle, but it is highly recognizable. 8/10.
  16. My guess is it’s going to be something along the lines of helping others reach the same truths that he has. Helping others protect, helping others realize that they aren’t perfect. We already have the basis for that in his helping the other depressed people.
  17. (Emphasis added.) So you’re like 40% correct. The bond and agency of the spren can “kind of bypass” some of it, but there’s still definitely “got to be a place for the magic to go”. A theoretically perfect person would not be able to be a surgebinder.
  18. Just played Beat Saber on my friends VR headset for the first time.....

holy crap I need one of these. ITS SO COOL!!!!

Lol that's awesome! I've only seen videos but it does look super cool. Wish there were more unique VR experiences like that cuz for most things I've seen it's been like hmm yeah maybe not :P Best part?

    2. LukeWasTaken

      LukeWasTaken

There are a lot of cool VR Games out there.

      Spoiler

      Walking Dead Saints and Sinners
      Beat Saber
      Blade and Sorcery
Another Skyrim Game This time VR
      Fallout 4 VR
      Asgard's Wrath
      Boneworks

It is a budding style of games but I think it is growing nicely. There is even a vr experience for the shattered plains, although it is not very good...

      Scout_Fox

Ooh interesting @OoklaWasTaken good to know there are more of them! I totally agree it's definitely a genre that will see a lot of growth

Idk why but the future of VR always makes me think of Ready Player One like will everyone just be in their own little VR world with everything else destroyed and no real world interaction

  19. Turns out that there’s a 26 letter character limit for Display Names, so a 16 letter adjective was the longest I could do =P

    some other candidates were:

    Extraterrestrial
    Michelangelesque
    Incomprehensible
    Gastrointestinal
    Counterclockwise
    Palaeontological
    Multidimensional

    1. Mat

      Mat

You could have done 'A _____ Ookla' to squeeze in more letters

Those all would have been great xD Those last three, especially.

    2. Doomstick

      Doomstick

      I like mine better

  20. I’d be willing to change my vote if I thought there was a better candidate, but since Fadran is safe now I don’t really have a ton of Elim reads.
  21. I voted Bearer because of inactivity + voted for Illwei with poor reasoning (Illwei had been attacking Gears) + generally strange voting behavior. So 3 reasons, not just inactivity.
  22. excuse me what Ive never heard this. What hints?!?
  23. Ooooo I like this idea. I don’t think we know the number of petals, or if we do, it isn’t in the Coppermind article. Kel has always used the flower as a symbol, makes sense for him to literally make it a symbol now.
