  1. Yeah I’m thinking a 4-5 Elim team. 6 max if TLR chose them. and I know my opinion here is wildly biased, but these votes on me definitely seem fishy. Especially because I’m, like, not Elim. Elim!me wouldn’t propose something like this, there are thousands of ways to get an easier mislynch. Why would I do this one weirdly specific plan, just for a single mislynch, and this early in the game? It doesn’t make sense. And wouldn’t you think another, more experienced Elim would stop me? It’s a dumb Elim move. Edit: @Matrim's Dice can I get a vote count?
  2. The goal is that it’d just end up too chaotic and random for some tampering like this to work. also, like I said, I PMd books because I chose randomly. I would’ve changed it, but I dont want to ruin the integrity of my own plan because of personal bias.
  3. I did notice, and that’s why there are preventative measures in my plan. I even noticed a potentially worse hack that you didn’t. I PMed you because I followed my own plan and chose randomly. Rolled a digital die.
  4. This is the main Thread for this game. Rules and Roles and everything are in the OP, and cycle threads like this one are edited into it once they are over.
  5. This is true, but as you can see, I’m doing my absolute best to make it un-hackable. If I was Elim, I would just propose the idea, let the Village run with it, coordinate with other Elims to hack it, and be on my merry way to mislynch city. I definitely wouldn’t work on developing the system, because I am aware that this makes me look suspicious, especially if it goes wrong.
  6. Here’s how I think the chain should work. Roleblocker, you should choose 8 people. Individually message each of those people and say exactly this. “I Roleblocked ___” If you receive a message, you *immediately* PM 4 people with the exact same message: “I Roleblocked ___” In this way we can have a sorta “I am Spartacus” thing where everyone claims Roleblocker. If you receive a second or third PM from someone, as a result of the chain going around to you again, send it to 2 people, different from the 4 you sent it to earlier. If the message is different, as a result of Elim tampering with the chain, I don’t think you should change it. The first one might’ve been the Elim changed one, there’s no way to know. Unless you are the RBer, then you can obviously change it to the actual message. In the end, everyone will probably have 3-4 messages from the chain. We each share who the messages said, but not who sent them. Then, whoever is mentioned in the messages the most is who we Lynch. The original RBer sends the message to the most people, so it’s most likely that the most sent message is the actual RBed person. Once the chain is in full force, the original RBer can send a few more messages, just to make sure that the real message is the most common one. Hmm, I hope we don’t have more than one RBer.....this might completely break.
  7. Idea to make sure that this Info gets out, but without endangering the Roleblocker: we start some sort of insane PM chainmail thing. The Roleblocker PMs a few people with a message saying who they RBed, but they claim that someone messaged them the info. Those people immediately continue the train and so do those people, until we have a giant entangled mess, and the Elims won’t really be able to tell where the chain started. You send the message to multiple people so that the Elims can’t change the message, or if they do, we can figure out where the discrepancy is, and then who the Elims are.
  8. Oh good point. Another possibility is that the Elims were just Roleblocked, but I dunno. I considered this too, and I’m not sure. It’s a possibility, but I don’t know how we’d move forward if it’s true.
  9. Agh! Good game. =P Araris I knew I should’ve kept a better eye on you. Agh. I can’t claim I knew you were Elim at the end though. I had you pegged as Elim for a little while, but at the end I was convinced you were Village. I almost did. It was basically 50/50 between Mist and Silber. Anyways, thanks for running this game Straw! It’s been fun. The worst thing about this being over is that we don’t get to see you make any more puns out of the word ‘mist’.
  10. Wooo! Blog is up and running here.

If you actually think you might like it, consider following or something. (Can you follow Blogs? Not actually sure.)

Don’t follow if you’re not gonna read though. I have no need for your follows of pity

    Spoiler

    :P

Don't feel any obligation to read it either. It doesn’t actually matter at all. I feel like a lot of you are really really really nice, and might read and follow just to be nice, but it actually doesn’t matter, it’s just me rambling about nothing important.

Also, don’t read it if you haven’t read Dawnshard, because right now that’s all it’s about. Might do entries about other stuff eventually, but right now it’s more just my own journal thing for keeping track of my thoughts about all the new material we’re getting. (Only 4 days til RoW!)

  11. Notani N Quisitor pushed his oversized sunglasses up the bridge of his nose. Those darn things were always falling off. As he walked outside to check on his thousands and thousands of beloved Murder Hornets, he noticed something that made his blood chill. A single dead Hornet, lying in the middle of the walkway. He fell to his knees with a sob, cradling the deceased bug in his arms. What monster would do such a thing! As his body shook with grief, he looked towards the sky and cried, “This means WAR!” Yes hello I’m here now.
  12. Oh pshh. @Channelknight Fadran on KrytalFyre.
  13. I have Dawnshard on my kindle, ready to be read.
    I kinda wanna wait.

    Am I crazy?

      Experience

Tag me when you do. I want to read it.

    3. Mat

      Mat

Yes you're crazy :P I'd read it before RoW. And I did. And it was awesome.

If you make that blog I'd like a tag as well.

    4. Condensation

      Condensation

Wait, how do you make a blog?

  14. I’ve stated multiple time that I have other reads, you’re just definitely my strongest. Other suspicions are: Wind (for inactivity), Silber (same reason), Araris (very very mild, but keeping an eye on), and Whysper (same read as you tbh, being suspiciously nice. Trying to pocket?) All of those are insanely Mild though. Barely Elim reads at all. I’ll admit I’m tunneling on you a little bit, but you’re being very suspicious, so I think it’s justified.
  15. Oh, I just realized I haven’t voted yet. Yeah, Condensation. I’m far from positive about her, but she’s definitely my best guess.
  16. I think I’m starting to understand why you’re called the “PM Spider” in your About Me page.....
  17. XD XD *slowclaps* good job Fadran, good job anyways, actual game stuff now: This confuses me.....a lot Whats your angle Mist?
  18. What do you mean duh, I wasn’t sharing any new information. also did she really ask you the same thing? It made sense in our conversation, that’s kinda the topic we were on, but I don’t think it would make a ton of sense to ask that out of context. This is probably just me continuing to tunnel on Connie, but if I was Elim, I would do what Connie is doing now. Agree with my assessment, thus putting more suspicion onto someone else, then say that the same thing happened in their conversation, although there isn’t anyway to prove that.
  19. Dang, TJ was Hem? That a plot twist. Yay I’m not sus. Also, I am now fairly suspicious of Burnt, they asked me in PMs what roles I thought the Elims should/would try to get rid of. I said Elantrian and Feruchemist, and then I noted that it was surprising that TJ hadn’t been killed yet, since he had claimed Feruchemist publicly. And now TJ is dead.
  20. The Koloss unfortunately drifted elegantly onto Lift's albino Shardfork of gluttony
  21. Ok, new plan, if Matrim won’t acknowledge the mail-in murder hornets in the write up, we’ll all just have to make sure we RP the murder hornets.
  22. I think the rules said that the “improvements” were just that the HI can then access the Elim doc, and it can then die to a lynch. Maybe I misunderstood. @Straw?
