  1. He's Fullborn, he already has a lot of it, and can compound on the spot. Gravitation gives you no ability to think faster, only thing Fullborn has to do is to make one step to the back, and Windrunner misses him completely and won't even realize that, Use still with Brass to avoid friction heating. Yes, A-pewter strength. compounding, and he has no limit on how big he can get, as he isn't getting bigger. Rip Fullborn's arm, yes, but he can heal that, Windrunner can't heal from a puddle of blood. Plate's sections would be destroyed Yes, hard to do, but with enough speed and zinc, can be done. Force would be the same, but inertia would stop him from moving. Yes it will Windrunner would glow, he can see it with tin even behind a horizon. And electrum and chromium will help. Compound with duralumin to get it instantly. it will show you getting hit by a sonic boom. No. It's weight. It's mass. The same thing. It comes from the same phenomena. Seeing and hearing comes from different things. Even a minute or two would be enough to kill Windrunner, and Fullborn can compound more when needed. Here is the thing, yes, by moving 0.3c Windrunner can ambush and kill a Fullborn who doesn't know he is fighting someone, while Windrunners know, know what Fullborn does, where he is, prepares and acts in a proper way. This way he can win. And only this way. Now reverse it, now Fullborn knows he is fighting a Windrunner, what he can do, and where to find him and prepares. However Fullborn can ambush Windrunner with 1000 different methods, killing him each time. But I doubt this is what this discussion is about. It's about Fullborn and Windrunner who both meet on an open field and start fighting. No ambushes. With proper ambush you can kill even a Shard. But without an ambush, I can't see it still. Yes, connection things are mostly speculation, he can become a squire by WoB but more is unknown how it works. Both of us have equal chances to be right with interpretation on how this works. It was more of a fun, speculative idea. I wish we knew more. It does, you get all attribute in one powerful burst of energy without any diminishing returns, because it acts like an allomantic metal. I wonder if you could do the same by simply tapping metalmind with duralumin. Another fun, speculative and theoretical idea - nicrosil compounding to open perpendicularity and go into CR: I'm writing sooooo slow, I can't keep up with you guys
  2. It is, so you "contact" his hand that reverse lashing him, and tap iron to avoid being lashed, avoid a Shardblade with steel and zinc, and that strong punch in the Windrunner face who goes with that speed would kill him instantly, no healing, he turns into a blood puddle. tap iron enough for Fullborn, he can write an 1000 page essey in his mind in that time, and use steel to still move out of Radiant's way. Not to mention bendalloy and electrum and fortune. zinc Why wouldn't he? And why wounldn't he tap fortune and burn electrum during a fight? Those are not different kinds of weight. Tin allows you to store different kinds of senses, for sight, hearing and even pain. It's more similar to this. Why wouldn't he be able to do it with steel? He can always be faster than Radiant. And Fullborn can still avoid him, as he always thinks faster than Radiant with fortune and electrum. Kal's spear in WoK during battle with Eshonai used an existing crack. But with enough force it will be done with one punch. But, hear me out, you don't need to punch through a plate, you simply need to stop Radiant, and g forces would do the rest with that speed. Duralumin+chromium would most likely do it instantly or extremely fast.
  3. Leeching would leech reverse lashing, tin would give him senses to see Windrunner far in advance, steel would provide speed to avoid it, zinc mental speed to prepare, and pewter to punch Windrunner in the head to turn him into a bloody goo. I believe a skilled Feruchemist who trained with it would be able to do it. Just like a skilled Mistborn can push and pull on metal rod in 2 different places, not in a center. It's a matter of perception. He does, but his spirit tells him "he's your best friend, he won't do it" and he goes down, because he is his best friend. This, it was about becoming a squire
  4. I think there are more than one connection connecting you to people, just like you can focus and push on a metal bar in two different places (Kel fight with Inquisitor). In MSH, when Kel gets to see Spiritual Realm thanks to Preservation (part 3.3), he sees his connections to him, and later he turns around and sees hundreds of connections between him and Ruin. Just make a one friendly impression and you create a "friendly" connection, which you can use. Again, I'm not talking about aging or stopping it, just to stay healthy to live as long as he normally can, which could make him live longer than Radiant. Your daily health has a huge influence on how you age. But you can use connection to slow down aging (bottom of the WoB): He can: But that would at least bring WIndrunner down to the ground to have a friendly talk with you. Then he can't kill you. The other WoB, which now works. They can move that fast, but in a fight it's useless as they don't have a reaction time fast enough to strike anybody before he passes by them. Those are living sprens which doesn't really need Stormlight to live. They need Stormlight to heal and that you can leech.
  5. This seems reasonable. But becoming a savant would do the job as well
  6. Would you kill your best friend just because? From Radiant, smash his plate and steal his spheres. Blank your own. You have a connection to that spren the moment he meets you. Because storing connections makes people unaware of you, it means you have connections to even those who you never met before. Gold is enough, you just need to stay very healthy. You store or tap connections, this weakens or strengthens connection. If you can use it to make spren bond you, break into hemalurgic constructs (https://wob.coppermind.net/events/356/#e10524), you can use it this way as well. Tapping connections makes you become friends faster. WoBs proves it, link should work again, just bracket suddenly became part of it Windrunners have a natural connection to Windsprens, by becoming a Windrunner squire, you will get that connection naturally. I don't want a Fullborn to make new connections, I don't believe he can, he just strengthen those which already exist. By meeting him and fighting with him. Compound rest if you have to or use pre-stored connections. We can extrapolate what we already know from books and WoBs. Just better and a bit stronger, able to manipulate pressure around him, and use Windsprens as an extension of his powers, but have to be among them. Well, Fullborn has nicrosil and he can make medallions and bring an army of Fullborns with him. Should we include them? No, 1 on 1 fight. Squires are people, not weapons or tools. Even with squires, Fullborn uses just compounded speed and strength, and kills Windrunner immediately, and now all his squires are powerless.
  7. For now I should add. Look again at the metals used in Fabrials. They are the same as in allomancy, and have similar effects of pushing and pulling. And this WoB:
  8. The way humans perceive them. While they can be attracted to the specific area with extreme speed, once they are here, they are limited by Physical Realm, as they are partially in it. They have limits. The fastest Windspren move was in WoR during Kal and Szeth fight, ahead of the Highstorm. Fullborn can go faster. And Fullborn just moves out of the vaccum like it wasn't even there take a heavy rock and throw it with such force and speed that Windrunner doesn't even have a time to react. Here are new ways for Fullborn to win this fight. Use duralumin connection feruchemy, and possibly a bit of aluminum identity: use connection between Fullborn and Windrunner to become best friends forever, use gold compounding to outlive him and win use connection between Fullborn and Windrunner or his spren and instantly became his squire, gaining powers of Windrunner (which can be stored and compound in nicrosil) (WoB https://wob.coppermind.net/events/394/#e12917 ) by using 2 first to create connection between you and Windsprens (given to you as a Windrunner squire) strengthen connection to Windsprens so they would consider you as their Radiant and form a plate around you instead of the Radiant. use the connection between Fullborn and Radiant's spren to extreme to fool the spren into believing you are his knight and thus becoming a Windrunner, or making connection strong enough to be able to summon this spren as a Shardblade (which is possible, based on this WoB https://wob.coppermind.net/events/41/#e7235).
  9. But silver isn't use in fabrials.
  10. Why? I always assume the base 16 metals are the fabrial metals that can be used, because they are the same metals, they have similar effect to those allomatic ones, and Cosmere has a general thing for metals. And plus all god metals and their alloys. So the number of allomantic metals is the same for use in fabrials.
  11. It seems that some members of the Shin society have the opportunity to train with them and be their "guardians’. By making Szeth take a Honorblade as a Truthless, they imply to have an ability to retrieve it from anyone who gets it (with Elsecallser's blade for sure). Shins are possibly keeping them to give them back to Heralds when they return, like Nale and Ishar got his blades back. SA5 chapters: There were also times when Shins invaded rest of the Roshar, and they used Honorblades and Surges during invasions:
  12. No. Which he did by being inside of the storm and being surrounded by Windsprens. The way I see it is that Kaladin used Windspren to expand the range of his own surges, but he needed to be "with" them to use them this way, like in OB, he was on the very top of the wedge he created, having Windsprens by both of his sides.
  13. I believe aluminum spikes work a bit differently than all others spikes. It doesn't have any charge. You put a spike in someone, in a proper binding point with a proper intent, and that's it. He lost his powers. But that's as long as he has a spike in him. But your interpretation is also plausible.
  14. And that's all Fullborn needs to kill Windrunner. Literally. And here again comes steel for rescue - he just moves out. Moreover I'm not sure if Windrunner can just do it without physical connection to Windsprens - Kaladin in both cases was among Windsprens, not drinking tea in the Tower.
  15. No, it's not what the WoB says. It says that the weakening of Feruchemy is a proportion of the stored attribute you get, to the lost attribute. That's how I understand it. He doesn't say what is happening to that lost attribute, just that some attribute is lost. The way Brandon talks about it seems that he didn't canonize its mechanism yet, just that there is some loss
  16. Fullborn, no doubt. It's no use for a Windrunner to go everywhere he wants when as soon as he closes in, he is dead. Plate won't protect him from Fullborn, he can strike extremely hard and fast, smashing plate into pieces by a single punch. He can use fortune, zinc and electrum to know the future and predict Windrunner's moves. He can use time bubbles to gain every advantage he needs, and duralumin boosted emotional allomancy to paralyze a Windrunner once his plate gets destroyed. Fullborn doesn't even have to lift his feet from the ground, or shoot any coins, just stand and wait till Windrunner gets close and overwhelm him with speeds several times that of the speed of sound. Even Shardblade damages can be healed by a Fullborn. Even if somehow Windrunner was able to send Fullborn to space, or create a vacuum around him - Fullborn has all the breaths he needs in his metalmind, and can leech with chromium any lashing. Sorry Roshar-guys but Windrunner stands no chance. Escaping the fighting area means losing the fight. There is no scenario in which Windrunner can later return and win a fight. I literally can't see a scenario in which Windrunner wins against a Fullborn.
  17. Create some sort of government funded National Hemalurgic Donor Center (NHDC), where professional hemalurgists will have knowledge of how to perform this and experiment to make new advancement, but the public should know only that hemalurgy steals powers, what was said in holy books left by Sazed and that this facility exist. People can donate their body and powers to this facility, willingly, and with full knowledge of consequences that might come with it. Those powers could be then given by spikes either to the previously specified family members (without any previous criminal record), be used in hemalurgic experiments, or given to a special swat team to increase public safety. Of course the donor should not only get full medical attention for life, but also be paid for giving up their powers, just like with Breaths on Nalthis, if the donor dies, money will be given to his family. However, to further secure this facility, the government can't have full control, as no mayor should just go there and demand to get powers or gain knowledge. This NHDC should be led by a committee of specialists to some degree associated with the government, or appointed by the government if they have special qualifications, but they should have the right to govern their internal structures in accordance with national laws. Make it just in a way to guarantee that not a single person (e.g. mayor) has any decisive or final word in the NHDC internal decision making process. The Bands are not exactly like medallions as nicrosil in Bands gets used up, while in medallions is more like a coppermind (https://wob.coppermind.net/events/316/#e11247)
  18. One of the most powerful beings. You have almost unlimited feruchemical attributes, can heal from almost everything, including damage to the soul, and with Savantism in all 32 powers, you are just crazy powerful. That was TLR, but he was the strongest Mistborn ever because he granted himself that power with the use of the Well and became a savant in every metal. Fullborn has more useful powers because of feruchemy and compounding, while Mistborn powers become just secondary powers. With unlimited Atium, there is almost no power that can stop them. His only weakness is separation from his metalminds, but if you play it smart, you can put your metalminds inside your body and to play it even smarter, put several of them in every corner of your body, to make sure that you can always tap them and heal, even if decapitated. When you have access to compounding, burning allomanticly regular pewter or steel feels just weak, when you can get insane feruchemical strength or speed. With almost unlimited speed you can end a fight before it even begins. You can pause a fight by using a bendalloy bubble and zinc compounding to think about every option you have. And if you have access to feruchemical attributes of fortune, connection, identity and investiture - you just become even more insane. Feruchemical fortune and allomantic Atium and electrum would make you avoid all dangers you can ever encounter, making you literally untouchable.
  19. I think Set's hemalurgic experiments were only a tool for them to allow them to take control over Scadrial more easily. Their main goal was to force Basin into submission, which would be achieved by a bomb, not hemalurgy. They used hemalurgy to satisfy their own greed for powers. That's why if they caught any metalborn, they would spike the power out of him, and give it to their members, without caring about science. If Set didn't have any deadlines, and didn't have to focus on creating the bomb and destruction of Elendel, and could fully focus on Hemalurgy, then of course they would advance that art much further then we saw, however they already accomplished a lot, and even created 2 new hemalurgic constructs (Chimeras in SoS and the second "better" version of them in TLM, I think there were some differences between those two, the SoS used one spike, TLM used two spikes).
  20. Depending on how Excisor works, I believe you need to compound Nicrosil (to "copy" a power) and from WoB, feruchemical Duralumin is also necessary (https://wob.coppermind.net/events/122/#e3345). So you need to go A-nicrosil/Feruchemist.
  21. It's stuff from the Stormlight Archive, and I can't see how this have anything in common with this allomantic metal count. Did you guys included feruchemically charged metals? All god metals and their alloys maybe can be used as a metalminds which can be burned and therefore be a "new" metal. But that's like x2 only I think. Still, bigger number.
  22. It's ... TLM spoilers: I don't think an allomantic sport would be "legal" in a way of equality. I doubt the government would allow for a sport that favors some powers over others, like pewter would always be op. But some underground boxing or metal arts fights would be more likely to happen. But regular sports, like soccer, it’s hard to say, as how can they give equal chances based on powers? Maybe by having matches with just F/A iron, steel and pewter. Attack would be composed of steelrunners, middle support players would be A/F pewter, defense would be iron/steel allomancy, and a ball would have a little metal core, to allow it to push, and a playing field would have a metal pieces in few places to allow flying, but in a very restricted way. I can see coinshoters pushing skimmers high in the air so they can kick a ball into opposing team goal. That could work, as every player would have a different role based on their powers, only from the physical section, and the match could be engaging on a bigger football field to accommodate for increase in power. But no game that allows players without powers and with powers would be possible to make in a reasonable way. There must be a separation for games with powers or without. Powers just give too big of an advantage. Edit: or a game just for coinshoters and lurchers that are in a metal cage and have to push a ball into a goal.
  23. This WoB? It's about power dilution over decades, which is mainly a thing in Allomancy, and just a little bit in Feruchemy. But savantism gives you nothing here, because it's a weakening of your powers happening in your spiritual DNA. Just like Lerasium Mistborn is far more powerful than Misborn in Kelsier's times, Lerasium savant would be equally more powerful than Misborn in Kelsier's times savant. This WoB tells just it: Elend, as a Lerasium Mistborn, draws more raw power than Vin (quantitative difference), but if they both were to become a savant, there would be no qualitative difference, as both can do more with less power, but Elend still has more raw power to draw from, and still is a stronger savant than Vin.
  24. Kind of. While you preserving donor's life, you're still ruining his soul. And let's end it with this.
  25. What I'm saying is that every hemalurgic spiking is satisfying Ruin's intent, so it doesn't matter in this case. What does matter is the intent of people performing spiking, if they are spiking with the intent not to kill a donor (which would still satisfy Ruin's intent), it can make a difference. Ruin himself even told HoA and MSH that he allowed Rashek, Vin and Kelsier to influence Scadrial as what they did still caused ruin and destruction. Even if it sometimes prolonged incoming destruction (Kel picking up Preservation) it still served him more in the end.
