  1. I like this. Maybe they thought in shattering Adonalsium they would also get rid of this "evil" force, thinking that the "evil" force and Adonalsium had a "can't exist without the other" type relationship.
  2. I think down the line when its time for the good forces of the cosmere to unite, the easiest way would be to have characters from the books be the vessels Shards. None of the original vessels would be alive, replaced by characters like Sazed. This would be an excellent way Brandon to bring everyone together, as I'm sure Shards can sense the presence of other Shards, they would see what over doom lies ahead and unite somewhere(vague I know, but it's a long way off lol). Then these new vessels would have the scenes that introduce their worlds to each other. Obviously, for this to work, their would need to be separate vessels, a representative from each cosmere shard world. So unless, it happens at the very end in order to stop the "evil" force, I don't see Brandon putting all the shards in one person, as this seems the obvious route. I do think there will be combo shards though like Harmony. Because if Odium doesn't get splintered, they're going to have to combine that shard with another in order to nullify it's mission to destroy.
  3. Yeah, even though it took a little bit longer, I'm a fan of the revisions as he writes the parts. At this pace, draft three should be done March/April.
  4. I've never thought about that, you just blew my mind. Makes sense that some great spren would pre-date the shattering. Jeeze, that opens a lot of doors.
  5. Obviously Rock.
  6. That would defiantly be a huuuuuge plot point, a main character in a SA becoming a vessel. Up their with Kaladin somehow being able to re form Honor.
  7. It's a two way tie for me. One is Rock, because he is hilarious. The scene when Rock explains why he was sent to the bridgemen is probably the funniest scene in the books for me. Two is Syl, for obvious reasons. She was the main force to push Kaladin to become the person at the end of WoR. Also her dialogue is probably some the best in the books. She's either being funny, or foreshadowing something good coming up, also we get decent knowledge about the KR from her. My favorite scene is Kaladin saving the king. Not only did it have the best piece of dialogue in the series "Your will matters not! Stretch forth thy hand Kaladin", but it was also the biggest turning point yet for a character. Kaladin realizing an important oath, him getting Syl back, as well as getting a shardblade. The scene had all the right things and then some. I constantly go back and re-read it, and still get the same awestruck feeling every time.
  8. Welcome to the forum. Under absolutely no circumstances, do not accept cookies from anyone. IT IS A TRAP. ITS HOW THEY KEEP YOU HERE.
  9. It also looks like Jezrien is on it as well, judging by Nales revelation to Lift at the end. Because I can't see the leader of the Heralds, the person who trains Kings, to be fooled by another Herald.

    Tashi

Yeah, after I posted that I thought of Nales quote about Teshi. If Teshi was indeed Honor, Nale probably would have said something along the lines of Honor being dead.
  11. I actually did this the other day when posting a theory, saying that Nightblood was made from Black luxin. Fried my brain for a minute.

    Tashi

Thanks for response, appreciate it. But in Edgedancer theres a line that says "Tashi, God of Gods", could this just be their name for the Almighty aka Honor?

    Tashi

I was doing my re read of Edgedancer when I realized I didn't know or remember who Tashi was. I checked coppermind and couldn't find anything. Could someone help me out por favor?
  14. i think this is just an effort by Brandon to make the world seem a bit more real. Realistically something that happened so long ago, of course the story would change throughout the generations. Altered by many different cultures and what not. Like how in real life we don't know exactly what happened in Ancient Greece, there are hundreds of different stories about the same course of events. Same holds true on Roshar.
  15. This seems likely, but with old Tara manipulating Amaram to no end.
  16. I don't think Hoid would be above using the Ghostbloods to meet his own ends, but being actual full member seems doubtful. Or it could be a possibility that he was the one that pulled the strings to found the Ghostbloods, but I also find this doubtful.
  17. I think he's going to redeem himself, maybe through self sacrifice. He does have faith in Heralds, a corrupt faith, but faith nonetheless. I think this is going to lead him to playing a big part in the story to come, maybe a lacky to one of the Heralds.
  18. I think that the complication of Kaladin and Shallan falling for each other would lead to better story then Shallan and Adolin. We have a lot of books left witch leaves a lot of time for the ups and downs that Kal and Shallan would experience, and this could lead Adolin down the Odium path.
  19. Haha, didn't think anyone was going to catch that.
  20. A world with no magic or mysticism, a world dedicated to swordsmanship. There will be 10 paths, a path must be mastered before moving on to the next. The 6th path and on will be shrouded in mystery, as will the knowledge to master a path. Trails of some sort will be involved, maybe a quest as well. Leaning more towards 6th order, Blood Song type trails. There will be regular swordsmen, but Path Swordsman(even ones that have no Paths mastered) will be regarded as the "special forces" of the world. Serving as strategists, generals, battle captains, and sell swords. Leaves me a lot of room to create interesting lore about famous swordsmen and how the paths were formed, also the vague mysteries of the upper paths will be interesting to unveil. A person that masters all ten Paths will be referred to as Master of Paths, or maybe something less melodramatic. Becoming a Master of Paths will be a rare thing, and at the outset of the story their will be none.
  21. Makes total sense, hopefully we just solved the epic and all consuming mystery of the "Box and Necklace".
  22. http://thefanfictionforum.net/ That site is one of the better ones I've been on.
  23. I don't know what's in the box, but I think the box itself is a trinket passed to Renarin from his mother. As Adolin has the locket, i just always assumed the box was Renarins version of the locket.
  24. The Pillars of Creation were tainted, tainted by the fall of Azmor.
  25. Ahh, makes sense now that I look at it. The Heralds peaced out before the Raidents, so it would make sense that the Raidents would obtain the Honorblades, and maybe a Skybreaker Shin took the blades to the Shin when the KR peaced out.
