  1. It’s possible the malen bodies of some forms are truly neuter though.
  2. Kell may be too young a Shadow for that; it took the Heralds awhile to start going mad and Vasher hasn’t been fully subsumed by his Intent. Kell is actually the youngest intelligent CS we’ve seen. I think he’s trying to find a way around that problem before it becomes one. There’s also some influence of the mind on Intent. Kell seems to consider Scadrial as part of his Intent, which is important. However, Kell was twice Commanded. So his Intent may be stronger than that of other shadows.
  3. .... @Nameless This was pretty close. Also @Experience said: “And when Hoid can’t punch Kelsier anymore,” is close considering that Hoid references the time he did. And currently can’t, due to them being on different planets. Actually, you could consider the sheer number of times Mistborn, and Kell in particular, was brought up to be ‘getting it right.’
  4. We’ve been discussing this... check the other threads on this forum. We’re intent on wringing every last drop out of this before we can start bringing it up on the Mistborn forum.
  5. Kell has a new thread already. It’s getting offworld that seems to be the problem... That, and he’s apparently learned that there are side effects to immortality.
  6. Ditto. It was my crazy crackpot theory back in WoR. I don’t know if I’d even made a Shard account back then. I certainly never expected it to HAPPEN. But I’ve felt that the GBs would suit Kell for a LONG time. It’s so weird knowing that it wasn’t a crazy idea after all.
  7. What: Sequel of the Dusk. When: RoW release party reading. Where: https://wob.coppermind.net/events/448-row-release-party/
  8. “I understand that I SHOULD NOT always protect, even when I can/have the power to do so.” Or ”I recognize that others have the right to refuse protection and I cannot force it on them.” Or ”My right to protect is determined by the choice of the individual.” And so on.
  9. By the letter, not the spirit. Rayse said he would play fair - T won’t. Dalinar should have made a no cheating rule.
  10. Actually, Mraize has said that they kind of knew how to get Investiture to other worlds. (CSs still being an issue.) And Atium has massive implications for the Cosmere as it can steal any ability or power. It’s a bloodier version of unchained Bondsmith powers. Very useful for the Fused.
  11. T has no intention of playing in good faith. That was Rayse.
  12. Endowment and Cultivation are CLEARLY in cahoots.
  13. Actually, the most obvious would be that he now needs to nail down EXACTLY when MB Era 2 and especially TLM take place. We know it’s around when the SA 5&6 timeskip takes place, but he hasn’t pinned the exact point. Now that both series are sharing a character within the same time period (Hoid doesn’t count) he really needs to figure out the inter-series timeline. I figure balancing two series timelines is trickier than managing one.
  14. Have you heard/read the Sequel of the Dusk reading yet? Go do it, if you haven’t. Also: Kelsier. You are a powerful cognitive shadow, stapled to a body, who cannot get offworld and have only been around for a little over 300 years. And you’re somehow in charge of a powerful, Cosmere-wide organization. I’m a little scared now. What are you going to do once you can leave Scadrial?! Convert the entire Cosmere to your newest religion?!
  15. Per WoB it would work.
  16. The Heralds seem to be the closest to what Kell is. Also, Kalak had additional information they wanted. And Honor is dead, while Odium would notice if they ‘borrowed’ one of his Fused. I love your ‘GB dagger is made of Atium’ theory.
  17. I’m so glad to know I inspired you! Fun Fact: My girl was born November 28th. So every Thanksgiving we celebrate her birthday and give thanks to God for all the growth she’s done over the year. In Hebrew we call it a Seudas Hodaa - A Feast of Praise!
  18. @Greywatch and @Bliev got it right. I thought the sexual immaturity comment weird. Cultivation isn’t a fertility goddess and Lift doesn’t care about being sexually mature. That’s not her real problem. But your second point is a good one, and I agree. Cultivation is all about Change through Growth. Lift is not ready to accept that yet - but I think learning that will be part of her Radiant Path.
  19. Well, this all started because pure yellow should not be a possible color.
  20. Well, that’s pretty much word for word Kal’s oath, so...
  21. Edgli certainly has. We’ve seen this done with Breath before. Thing is, Odium’s been trapped on Roshar for 7000 years, and we don’t know how long the Breath thing has been going on on Nalthis. We also don’t know how long Hoid has had breaths. Perhaps most frightening: we don’t know that this IS the first time someone’s done this to him. It may just be the first time on-screen.
  22. On the other hand, sometimes it takes new eyes to see the obvious. Rayse may not have thought of such a trick precisely because of those 10,000 years assuming he couldn’t. That’s why it’s sometimes the junior team member who points out the answer the experts have been struggling with for weeks.
  23. Lift did not ask to remain sexually immature. She asked to not grow up, or change, so she could stay her mother’s little girl forever which is a rather different thing. She wants to stay a child. She’d be just as upset if she grew up without developing secondary sex characteristics because that isn’t her issue at all.
