That reminds me! I now have a smartphone. It has no SIM card, so it can't do calls or texts or browse the web without a wifi network. But I don't really care about that because I only really wanted it for the Sibley Birds app, which is basically David Allen Sibley's Field Guide to North American Birds in app form. Better than the book-book because you can play birdsongs and keep a log of what birds you see when and where. And it's a lot smaller and easier to tote around than a book, too.

Sunbird breaks off her participation in the musical-fest to give Jaime a quick hug from behind. "Oh, I love when new people arrive!" she exclaims, grasping Jaime's hand (the one Kynedath isn't holding) and pumping it up and down enthusiastically several times. After several seconds, she realizes she has been shaking hands too long and awkwardly clasps hers behind her back. "Uh, don't mind me..." She then begins singing "Still Alive" softly to herself.

Read Naomi Novik's Uprooted today and thought it was totally awesome. Starting Soldier by Julie Kagawa next (book 3 in her Talon series). Update: finished Soldier today. Curse Julie Kagawa and her heartbreaking cliffhanger endings!!

On the subject of Black Widow--I would also settle for a Hawkeye/Widow duo movie. Hawkeye doesn't have his own movie yet either, and I feel like he also doesn't get enough love.

When the squirt nozzle on my lotion bottle is partially obstructed so that when I pump it, the lotion squirts all the way across the room and splatters on the wall. *facepalm*

Mestiv, I storming LOVE that music video of "Her Morning Elegance"! I saw it for the first time several years ago and would play it repeatedly in the background while I was doing other things on the computer until I finally just bought the MP3. Also, I saw Civil War last week and thoroughly enjoyed it. On a somewhat-related note, have you guys seen this?

That is some very nice fanart! I love the snarky expression on Vin's face. XD I have a hard time drawing people's faces with actual emotive facial expressions, so it pleases me when someone else does it so well.

Finished reading Blood of Tyrants (Temeraire #8) today and made it more than halfway through Codex Alera #6... Murphy's Law seems applicable right about now.

I started reading Order of the Stick in earnest this week and have gotten through 200-ish strips. Also forgot to mention in my previous post that I really like The Dinosaur Whiteboard, by the creators of Darths and Droids.
