  1. Heal Feruchemy, Hurt Bloodsealing... 1. Allomancy-5 2. Feruchemy- 19 3. Hemalurgy-10 6. Awakening-5 7. Surgebinding-14 8. Forgery-5 11. Voidbinding-5 13. Oculatory Stuff-5 14. Epic Powers- 6 15. Rithmatics-9 17. Bloodsealing- 2
  2. I know... Still. Anyway. Lets see what can be done to make the prediction come true. Lets raise feruchemy up to a lucky number, and hurt bloodsealing. 1. Allomancy-5 2. Feruchemy- 13 3. Hemalurgy-10 4. AonDor-3 5. Dakhor-4 6. Awakening-5 7. Surgebinding-11 8. Forgery-5 11. Voidbinding-5 13. Oculatory Stuff-5 14. Epic Powers-5 15. Rithmatics-6 16. Channeling-4 17. Bloodsealing-4
  3. Of coarse you did. The diagram predicted his victory.
  4. What are we going to do now...? (Also, I see what you did there... By this setup it is impossible to roll to kill feruchemy )
  5. Goodmorning everyone. That is a good question. Looking back at the first post it's because initially there were two number eights, and somebody fixed it down the line I guess. Anyway... Lets heal Feruchemy, hurt old magic. 1. Allomancy-5 2. Feruchemy-11 3. Hemalurgy-9 4. AonDor-3 5. Dakhor-4 6. Awakening-5 7. Surgebinding-10 8. Forgery-5 9. ChayShan-2 10. Old Magic-1 11. Voidbinding-5 13. Oculatory Stuff-5 14. Epic Powers-5 15. Rithmatics-6 16. Channeling-4 17. Bloodsealing-5 I actually agree with the current top three on this list; this is the order I would rank them in.
  6. Was that trying to be an Oliver reference? Also it might be good to post whatever rules you wanted at the top I think... At any rate, it looks like Feruchemy is off to a good start. Goodnight all.
  7. @WayneSpren Cartographer7 was actually a fellow diagramist as I recall. Anyway, let's get this party started. Heal Feruchemy, hurt Old Magic. 1. Allomancy-5 2. Feruchemy-6 3. Hemalurgy-5 4. AonDor-5 5. Dakhor-5 6. Awakening-5 7. Surgebinding-5 8. Forgery-5 8. ChayShan-5 9. Old Magic-4 10. Voidbinding-5 11. Smedry Talents-5 12. Oculatory Stuff-5 13. Epic Powers-5 14. Rithmatics-5 15. Channeling-5 16. Bloodsealing-5
  8. Nicely totaled up. Well it looks like the madness is ready to start again on WayneSpren's thread...
  9. Koloss. A koloss is superior both mentally and physically to a lifeless. Would you rather survive having a hemalurgic spike made from you (which would be like being a drab x1000 and would probably massively inhibit whatever trait was stolen from you), or be a parshmen (not a parshendi dullform, a regular parshman... so the only way you could change forms would presumably be during a desolation)?
  10. WoB from here. (entry 10 on the page) Some of this concerns how he did sell the Alcatraz rights for a movie... But basically, Sanderson is potentially open to letting their be a Mistborn movie... Why he has not chosen to give the rights to someone yet is because he wants it to go to someone who is serious about making a good movie. Which I think is a very good sentiment because if there comes to be a movie, I do rather hope that it gets the production it deserves. I just hope things come together sometime.
  11. I come back from a run and missed the ending Still, everything happened like the diagram said it would. Taravangian has prevailed in the cosmere. Also what will the new topic be on? Did we decide magic systems?
  12. Hurt Bleeder, heal Terry 9. Bleeder- 715. Taravangian- 93
  13. Frost has an entire organization of worldhoppers on call. They might not be able to actually catch Hoid, but they can probably arrange for the letter to get to him. As for how Hoid sends his letters... Well he's Hoid.
  14. Hurt Bleeder, heal Terry 9. Bleeder- 815. Taravangian- 92
  15. The diagramists outnumber trellagism it would seem. 9. Bleeder- 1115. Taravangian- 89 Also if Daniyah, Waynespren, and I all agree that feruchemy should win... I suspect I can predict the outcome.
  16. Well, the everstorm probably doesn't interfere with the fact that a highstorm still infuses gems with stormlight. I wonder if the everstorm will also infuse things with stormlight. Or a different kind of power. Or possibly neither. Maybe it would interfere with things if the everstorm actually drained gems of stormlight, but I believe it won't do that (even if it would be a cool touch).
  17. @WayneSpren Feruchemy is definitely the best magic I agree (surgebinding probably deserves second place) In the meantime, for the diagram! 9. Bleeder- 1315. Taravangian- 87
  18. Well, the only instances we know of someone surviving either of these cases was because the person in question was a windrunner. Both are death sentences to a normal person, but at least a shardblade would be swift. Would you rather have a conversation with Hoid or Harmony?
  19. Lord Ruler... That really is pure awesomeness. @Doctor12 how are you so good at this. That last fight is amazing. And the music is worthy of that fight. One thing to note... I'm not sure how this would work as a trailer because it basically shows the whole ending. But in the actual movie this would be an incredible way to do the ending. It would do the story justice, and that is saying quite a bit for the ending of Hero of Ages. If there was a well produced movie that used this for the last scene. I would be tempted to wait in line for the very first showing. Also, I couldn't help but go through the song again and picture the final battle from Words of Radiance, Daliner's speech in the place of Elend's and going on from there... It was also pure awesomeness. I think Hero of Ages might be a slightly better fit, but still.
  20. Well Hoid does have other goals, this is true... If Axies ever became cosmere aware he would probably become a lot like Khriss is...
  21. Isn't Hoid more cosmere aware than Khriss? I haven't read white sand so I might be missing something... But I mean Hoid was literally around since before the shattering, and unlike the shards he spends all his time worldhopping around and getting involved in every single interesting occurrence in the cosmere. Oh and also unlike Khriss he almost certainly does know where Yolen is located.
  22. In all fairness... The books had some creative features, and the skill of writing wasn't terrible. Then that is probably why you describe them as having potential. They did end up disappointingly shallow; it could have gone in a lot of interesting directions. They certainly didn't come close to rivaling the cosmere (although again to be fair that's a very harsh scale to judge a book by). Also debugging can occasionally lead to these things yes. Nobody will ask any questions.
  23. I have returned. Heal Terry, bleed Bleeder 9. Bleeder- 16 15. Taravangian- 84 Hm... About changes for the next game... I like the idea of the fifteen minute thing. Also, to speed along the pace, we make the characters start at 3 points instead of five so the total is less than 100. Finally, perhaps we would make everyone's votes count as 2 when we get down to the last 4 contenders (because this is really when things started to move too slowly I think). With these changes a conclusion would probably require fewer than the 34 pages and counting that we are at now. And at the same time it would keep things from moving too quickly because fifteen minutes is a nice long delay. Also maybe next round we should all make sure to check the post right above our own whenever we make a new post, so that things don't get thrown off. Although also, I'm not even sure I'm up to another game
  24. Hm... Radiant. Definitely radiant. A radiant is held to honorable standards which I approve of, stormlight healing sounds like a wonderful ability, and plus I strongly suspect that a full radiant with their living blade and plate would be more powerful than a mistborn. Also, part of the conditions of being a radiant it seems is that you are already a remarkable person, apart from your powers. Would you rather have two hemalurgic spikes (lets say you aren't allowed to choose a pair that lets you compound), or have dakhor monk augmentations?
