  1. I actually don't know what facetious means English isn't my native language. But from the tone of your post I feel that your theory wasn't very serious. I took it as a serious idea, to be honest. Thanks for correcting me :-)
  2. @FiveLate They will need the baby boom after the Desolation for sure.
  3. First off, sorry for missing the question. Secondly, answer: I love Brandons worldbuilding. It is one of the things that sets him apart from other authors. The ashes and mists in Mistborn, the storms and lore of Stormlight, the entire idea of the Cosmere, with Shards, magic, worldhopping and planets... I love it. Favorite character is Kelsier. I'll grant some honorable mentions to Elend, Shallan and Adolin though.
  4. I assumed you meant to put Dalinar there now, not before. And even if he was in Westeros earlier, he'd probably get killed anyways. I doubt people would just roll over and give up even if they were scared. Then there is always the possibility of someone taking him out like Kaladin killed Helaran.
  5. Maybe. She only knows of him as the Assassin in White. I think she would be at least somewhat forgiving if she got to know him, and learned of her fathers attempts to bring back Desolations. Generally though, Jasnah doesn't seem to be the fiery hate type of lady. I also think that she is more interested in finding out who commanded Szeth and why, than actually taking out her revenge on him.
  6. Most of these actually has a purpose, and most of those who don't still adds flavor to the story.
  7. This is plausible, but Im not convinced, for a couple of reasons: 1. I still don't know wether Nightblood can pick up a Shard. 2. They have been building up to using a champion to face Odiums champion. Not smacking him around with Nightblood. 3. I just dont like the idea. I would prefer people not ascending in Stormlight 5.
  8. Yeah, they would defenitely be scared. However, they have seen White Walkers, they have seen dragons, I think can see, and fight Dalinar too.
  9. Considering how much Brandon has on his plate, this is a risk. Good thinking.
  10. I doubt it. Shardplate cant handle too much damage, and I doubt you could regrow it in Westeros considering lack of Stormlight. Dalinar can't take thousands of Parshendi along with Adolin and some soldiers. I doubt he could handle several hundred thousand men, along with dragons, wights, White Walkers and the Nights King.
  11. Poe Dameron? Hah, I love the guy. Oh well, whatever. Here are mine: *Daenerys Targaryen and also Joffrey from GoT. *Straff Venture is a horrid person. *Bayaz, from the First Law.
  12. Most hated would be: 1. The Mountain 2. Joffrey 3. Ramsay 4. Viserys Targaryen 5. Janos Slynt @Aciilnt Stormblessed I like Jaime. He is trying to become a better man, which appeals to me. He is able to see what is good, and what is bad, and tries to keep to the good. I also love how everybody hates him for his most heroic action, and I find him extremely funny in later books. The best Jaime scene is in the books, when he reads his entry in the Kingsguard-book, written by other people. He thinks that since he is the one in charge of the Kingsguard now, he will have to write himself, and he can write whatever he wants. @Oversleep I doubt Dalinar would have conquered everything. He was a great warrior, but a terrible tactician. The likes of Robb Stark or Tywin Lannister would crush his forces and kill him.
  13. I definitely agree with @Aciilnt Stormblessed about Tyrion, and @Idealistic about Davos. Both are awesome.
  14. Brandon Sanderson, JK Rowling and either CS Lewis or George RR Martin probably.
  15. Well, different people like different characters. I dont really expect everyone to become Stannis-fans because I write a text wall about the guy. I generally like male characters more, I've found, so I guess we are even there :-) Best Arya scenes are with the Hound. Best roadtrip ever.
  16. These idiot summaries are pretty hilarious. Good job!
  17. Steel compounding giraffes?
  18. I never thought of this before, but its true. She chose between two pillaging, blood-covered warlords, one who wanted to bring the end of the world, and one who just wanted to kill things.
  19. Speaking of types of rock and Thunderclasts, I bet that Thunderclasts cant be formed from rocks with aluminum in them. Otherwise, I am slightly amused at the thought of Elhokar turning into "Darth Gollum".
  20. Dawnshards was probably weapons of some kind. Maybe things that inspired the Honorblades. By the way, @Calderis since you are a big Mr. T fan, do you think he will bond Nightwatcher or the Dawnsinger? My money is on the Nightwatcher.
  21. Wasn't the orange-eyed lady Telebs wife/widow?
  22. Because I love beavers. We could spike other things too if you want too, though. This, for example.
  23. Spoilered for lenght and book/show spoilers. Why I like Stannis: Hopefully that was somewhat helpful.
  24. We have known this for a while, and Im hopeful, as long as they dont attempt to make one movie out of WoK (they need a television series with the budget of GoT to do Stormlight justice). I think Mistborn could work well as a movie to start off with. As long as they focus on the plot and actually making a good movie, instead of trying to do a ton of set-up for other things, it can work really well. I'm worried about the critics though. They tend to be harsh against fantasy/blockbusters that aren't made by Disney. If we get a good Cosmere movie, and the critics brutally destroys it, I will never forgive, and never forget. I really dont want another Warcraft situation.
