WoK, chapter 46, "Child of Tanavast". Sigzil says he was thrown into jail three times but once he really earned it and then he talks about Babath woman.

When you don't see faces and reactions to your actions, it's very easy to assume whole forum looks at you like that: And then you start thinking "Oh my God now they're gonna totally give me a slating why did I even post anything; they probably all think I'm irritating and if they don't say it it's because they're too polite to tell me to shut up". At least, that's what Ruin is whispering to me. Or part of my own mind. No difference, I usually maim that voice and do what I want to do. Sometimes it's hard, though.

I heard about Flash comic which was to be written by Joshua Williamson and art by Carmine Di Giandomencio and Neil Googe. It was about new speedsters popping up in Central City and that Barry Allen had to train them. And one of characters was named Godspeed and he was described as 'killer'. His design was quite cool. ... Yeah, I checked, it seems it's in fact Flash: Rebirth. I found it interesting, but then in an interview the creator said that one needs to be familiar with DC: Rebirth... and I suspect that I'd need even more comics book to understand this one and repeat ad infinitum. I don't think I have that kind of money. Or time to Invest.

The more we learn about Three Metallic Arts, the more powers of TLR become broken. Let's break it up in a few steps, as I think we don't really appreciate the full power of a Fullborn. The Compounder First, we learned that not only he was an extremely powerful Mistborn whose power exceeds the power of Lerasiumborns by far, but we also learned that he's a Full Feruchemist who never runs out of the Feruchemical attributes. Infinite Feruchemy storages + extremely powerful Allomancy. The Savant Then we learned he was a savant in nearly all metals. Not really groundshaking revelation, but power is power. The Twinborn When we learned that certain powers form a synergy, like Crasher combo, which makes both Skimmer power and Coinshot power far more powerful than any of them would be on their own. If there are any other such combinations (like suspected Soothing/Rioting + Identity or maybe Connection), he has them. All of them. Now, there are also those so-called 'Twinborn effects'. Ars Arcanum notes that they may be not as noticeable as the effect of mixing Surges on Roshar, but they still are there. Fullborn has all 256 of them. I do not know what they are or even how useful or how powerful those may be, but nevertheless he has them. EDIT: Thanks to Yata we know that's not the case. The Soulbearer Then we got to the Bands Of Mourning and we learned what a Soulbearer can really do. Soulbearers can store their Innate Investiture and later tap them... Which means they can store their abilities. And later strenghten them. Forget multiple spikes, a Soulbearer Twinborn can just strenghten his Allomancy several times at ease! The Nicrosil Compounder Now, not only it's possible to strenghten abilities several times by just tapping nicrosil... No, a Fullborn can rusting COMPOUND IT. And TLR's base power level already was 'extremely powerful'... Now, we can suspect that he wasn't so powerful because he didn't have access to all of the metals, as they couldn't have been produced in Final Empire. The thing is, there is a WoB stating that TLR wasn't using duraluminium for his feats, but it seems unreasonable that he was using nicrosil Feruchemy (as it would be one of the hardest metals to obtain nad make). So, the power he has shown us was only his normal, base power? Oh, and he's a Sliver on top of all that. Anyway, we've got another Fullborn running around. While his Allomancy may be just of an ordinary Mistborn, the rest of the things I listed here matches as well. Oh, and Kelsier is a Sliver too. I believe he can do much more than what we have seen done with the Bands... If he Compounded enough nicrosil, he could be always at mistpoint. That's a lot of terrifying power. This is really immense, godlike power. I wonder where did he go?
-
So, as BoM has shown us, Nicrosil Compounders can get ridiculously powerful... if they have other powers. Nicrosil Compounding by itself doesn't seem super useful (unless there's more to nicrosil than storing powers). Storing Nicrosil Feruchemy in Nicrosil Anyway, I have got something on my mind: how does storing Nicrosil Feruchemy in nicrosil works? (I mean, how can you store the ability to store in nicrosil? It's a little like trying to lift yourself off the ground by grabbing your hair and pulling upwards) For example, let's say a Fullborn stores half of their Iron Feruchemy. It should mean that his Iron Feruchemy is (for the time of storing in nicrosil) half as powerful, so they can store only half of what they can usually store (so up to 50% of their weight, not 100%). And they would lose more power when overtapping, perhaps. (rambling about math) Mistpoint Okay, when Wax tapped a lot of nicrosil, he started to emit mist from his body. It seems that if you tap enough nicrosil, you can basically achieve the power level of burning the mists (as what Marasi and Wax did was comparable to what Vin did - Pushing on trace metals et cetera). I propose this as the upper limit of Nicrosil Feruchemy. You can't tap nicrosil above mistpoint... because if you did, you'd surpass what human body is capable of channeling and disappear (as Vin's body vaporized when she was burning mists). Except you don't have a Shard to Ascend to. Perhaps this could be comparable to lerasium savantism - there is a WoB that lerasium savantism is what Ascension basically is. We don't know what would happen if there is already a Shardholder around, either, so this two situations could be basically the same.

Dear future Sharders, here's how you do spoilers:
Write whatever you want here
It should look like that: (description what the spoiler is about, like spoiler for WoK or HoA, you know the drill)

IIRC Sigzil tried to woo a woman and it got him into jail and he was thrown into jail just because they knew Hoid could pay much to get him out of it.

About Steelsight, both Wax and the Inquisitors are Steel Savants... their ability to "sense" things with them is beyond the normal uses of Allomancy. From that WoB I read that a metalmind could either block or could resist the Shardblade a bit. But even if that was clear, we had cases of contradicting WoBs (burning spikes, for example) or even what is needed to Push on Shardblade. One time Brandon stated that probably a duraluminium + strong Push could do it, another time he said that it would require a Mistborn holding the whole power of the Well Of Ascension. And then BoM couldn't have been Pushed on and there was a WoB they're way less Invested than a Shardblade... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ About the steelsight: we don't know how the whole thing works. There are "good" and "bad" anchors and they have thin and thick blue lines... and I think that it was indicated that good anchors could be Pushed more powerfully. When Wax sees the filled goldmind in BoM, he says its line is very weak. It indicates if he were to Push on it, the Push would be weak. So I guess he could Push on spikes inside a body? (Since he sees TenSoon spikes). Kelsier was a Mistborn and also a steel and iron savant IIRC but he still told Vin that metals which pierce the body cannot be affected by Allomancy. Argh. On another hand, Inquisitors see many things in steelsight, so it should indicate they can Push on everything they can see... but that it's ridiculous, either they could Push on practically everything (no evidence) OR be almost blind (counter-evidence)! It makes no sense!

Also, when Eshonai and the Five are discussing stormform (Interlude 4), they discuss over humans having a Surgebinder and whether it could be a Honorblade; then they say that Surgebinding returned to men and that spren betrayed them again.

Yesterday (or two days ago. Friday it was) I was sleeping, as usually (as I don't have any university on fridays). My mom came into my room to take her work laptop, as usual. She woke me up... because during the night two sparrows flew in through open window. I'm too tired to describe everything that happened later, but I finished cleaning few hours ago, cause they shat over half of the room, including some clothes, my deskchair... AND MY OPENED WORDS OF RADIANCE And my family is like "no big deal, really". But it's uncleaneble. Not only my room was contaminated (I may have cleaned all of the dung, but try eating again at the desk you know was shat on. Yeah.) but now I have my precious book desecrated And when I tried to argue that maybe it wouldn't have happened if my dad had finally removed the bird nest WHICH COINCIDENTALLY IS PRACTICALLY UNDER MY WINDOW WHICH THEY FLEW IN THROUGH they said these two facts are not related. Yeah, totally not. -
If you have paperknife, it shouldn't be any problem to be opened. Also, better safe than sorry. As somebody who spent last summer in a job that involved packing things (I am now a master of the tape, cardboard, stretch and paperknife) I can tell you that proper packaging is crucial. If only you knew what delivery people do with things... *brrr*.

Have to disagree here. See, the hard limit on Pewter Feruchemy is the state when the heart is too weak to pump blood/ diagraphm and rib muscles are too weak to inhale air (I don't know which would be first). Brandon stated that this limit is about 70% (for a long time I thought this is the limit which applies to all Feruchemy abilities). I don't see why Bronze would be an exception without any effects. After all, when you store cadmium, you wouldn't say there is no effect of oxygen deficiency, would you? We know Gasper has to hyperventilate to make up for it, so Firesouls would probably wrap in blankets and hug the heater when they store their 1°C. Now, there is a difference between being thin clothed when it's cold outside and actually having the temperature of your body drop. I can go outside when it's -20°C only in a single T-shirt and suffer no consequences (actually have done that for 10 to 20 minutes. I'm crazy). I can see how burning pewter can help offset that, as the body is strenghtened continuously, but there is only so much that pewter can do. But having the temperature of your body lowered is an entire different matter. For a period of time body can withstand a cold environment, but after that it cannot any longer and it's ability to produce heat is outmatched by heat loss. Heat balance is negative and that's what hipothermia is. But at the same time, negative heat balance is what storing bronze is. Normally body loses heat from outside parts of it, skin, the insides stay warm longer. Also there are defence mechanisms when the circulation of warm blood to the limbs is limited to keep the head and torso warm longer. But Feruchemy lowers the temperature of all the body equally and that's why it would be even more dangerous than a normal hypothermia. Back on the topic: Does Tony get the House Party Protocol?

We don't actually know that. The only knowledge we have on influencing Invested Objects is from Scadrial and various degrees of trouble with Pushing on different objects. And that knowledge isn't terribly well organised (trouble with Pushing on metalminds was nonexistant until Second Era but then Wax sees TenSoon's spikes in steelsight while Vin could only Push on spikes in body while burning duraluminium. And Inquisitors see almost everything in steelsight but can't Push on it. Things are weird and many clarifications are needed)

Care to explain? I've seen many things thrown at Tarantino, but "fascistic" is a new one. Also, the notion about fascination with racial slurs is a very interesting one. Given that his films are packed with various curse words... What's so special about racial slurs?

Yeah, how are Watchmen playing in all that? What's the connection? I always thought Watchmen aren't part of the Multiverse.

If anything, not Coinshots but Lurchers. -
Well, I've never felt them staring back at me, but sometimes I see. I see the pattern. It's like... back in school some of non-mathematical friends were asking us how we never need the delta equation when we're solving square equations. That's because we saw the answer on the fly. The fact that once our teacher made us solve about one hundred square equations in succession may have something to do with this I guess good chess players can take a one look at the board and understand it. Without much thinking, just see and understand. (In bridge I sometimes had that too). It's something I am long way from achieving in Tak. I need to play more.

FYI, storing that much heat would make the Mistborn die of hypothermia. Brass Feruchemy can't make you invisible in infrared, you'd need to store so much you'd be of the air temperature. Even assuming it's about 30°C outside, storing 6,6°C would be fatal. Even with pewter.

Perhaps what makes Herald is a double mechanism - Honorblade which grants Surgebinding (I think it's safe to say that Honorblades are kind of a hack or artificial spren) but Heralds are also augmented... So power was bestowed into their blades and into them themselves, and to be a full Herald they need both parts to be connected - and that's why they left their Honorblades behind, in an attempt to break the bond and their 'Heraldry' ('Heraldiness'?). Also, when I've gone through the last dialouge Shallan and Jasnah had (on the ship, when Jasnah gave Shallan WoR) Jasnah said that many new Knights popped up before a Desolation.

Anyway, covers aren't quite the canon info I'm looking for. Isn't there a WoB or maybe it was stated in the book?

I deleted your cookie, it changed display to "Hello fellow Sharder", but only at first display... the subsequent displays failed and I only see the text "sig.png".

I think a storm may be coming my way I heard a stronger wind gush. I smelled the air. I looked at the clouds. I saw another wind blow. I'm almost sure. The storm comes. I hear its whispers, see its stormwall, know its heart. EDIT: I am sure. All that's left is to burn a prayer to Almighty it actually comes over instead of just passing by in a distance... EDIT2: Almighty turned a deaf ear to my prayers. I know Tanavast wasn't actual God, but he did buy drinks for Hoid, why can't I have a single storm Oh wait, Honor's dead. Stormdad, please, can I have a storm?

Recursion is refering to itself, but I see how you're thinking about the "inverted iteration". Most (if not everything) done with recursion can be done with iteration and vice versa.

Did Kelsier wear a hood or not? I swear I saw somewhere that his mistcloak was hoodless but I can't find it for the life of me.
