To my knowledge there are number of people trying to define the kilogram using fundamental constants but that is beside the point. On your point on Earth kilo vs. Earth 2.0 kilo, I'm confused on why there would be an Earth 2.0 kilo? Why would they come up with a new unit when the original kilo would still work perfectly fine? What would be the point in creating a new measurement just because they are on a different planet?
-
Or they come up with a third universal constant, which personally I think they should be doing anyway once any significant inter-world communication starts. Edit: and in reality, mass is determined by comparison anyway so they would actually need to determine the exact constants. They just need to pick an arbitrary amount of full Feruchemical nicrosil and say "This is one unit of whatever" That is how the kilogram works on earth, there is a hunk of metal in a Parisian basement that is the definition of a kilogram.
-
Actually no, grams would be a perfect measurement because they don't change based on gravitation. It is a measure for mass not weight, and mass does not change based on gravitational forces. A kilogram is a kilogram no matter where it is. Anyway, using grams of nicrosil to measure Investiture would actually be a pretty standard measurement.

So last night there was a livestream Q&A thing about the Alloy of Law supplement for the Mistborn Adventure Game. Here are some notes I took while watching: As always I'll try to update this thread as I get more information.

To my knowledge Khriss has never been refered to as a dragon. She also definitely isn't The Dragon to whom the letter is written since he is a he.

@Kobold King, that isn't quite what "Read And Find Out" means in this situtation. Brandon inherited the phrase from Robert Jordan and the Wheel of Time. Jordan would use the phrase whenever he didn't want to answer a question, whether it would be spoilery because it would eventually get touched on or not. Just becuase he gives out a RAFO doesn't actually mean it definitely will appear in a future book

@Delightful - Actually Ishiik describes Demoux as having light tan skin "like an Alethi" (but he doesn't actually think he *is* Alethi because his eyes are the wrong shape). It is Galladon and Blunt that he describes as Makabaki. As for the OP Spook is definitely not Talenel'Elin, Herald of War. That Taln has been trapped in Damnation for the past 4,500 years, Spook was only born about 360 years ago. Could he be the theorized imposter Taln? Maybe, but I don't find it particularly likely.

I know Scadrian, Rosharan, Nalthian, and Selish are confirmed. I do not believe we have one for Yolen (unless you count Yolish, whihc seems more like an adjective describing things, not people). I think I saw something about a person from Taldain being Taldaini.

Let me share this WoB: (source)

I just want to let everyone know that this Wednesday, the 9th, Brandon is doing a livestream with Booktalk Nation. http://booktalknation.com/book.html?author_id=195&book_id=332&event_id=159 It does require an email address to "reserve a space" which makes me think the video will not be posted afterwards (and I haven't been able to find an archive of past interviews). I for one am going to try and watch, and I'll try to take notes on the questions he's asked (though It would probably help to have multiple people doing that). The event is now over, but here is the video:

The Splintercast Reads Words of Radiance Episode 12: Chapters 44-46

Vasher doesn't live without the divine Breath, he still has his, it is just "supressed".

On the first bit, I actually think those instincts make perfect sense as coming from his time as a scribe. That entire plot arc is about Lightsong having these instincts and desires (he has to solve the mystery) that are a direct result of his past life, I don't see how this is any different. We have WoB on the connections between Returned and spren: (source) Yeah the Rira on Roshar is a nation, and not a character. (To rename the thread you need to click on the "Topic Moderation" link, it should be above the OP)

One nitpick, I don't think Brandon has written The Silence Divine yet. It is not the same situtation as White Sand or Dragonsteel, which do need to be rewritten, it is just flat unwritten. He has been talking about it for years but he only recently started actually writing it. (And he wasn't supposed to yet, at least Peter was surprised when Brandon read some of it on tour).

Adonalsium - is that really the best name?
WeiryWriter replied to Viper's topic in Cosmere Discussion
I would say yes it is the best name, because that is what Brandon calls it. I don't really see the point in not using the canon name? -
Gemhearts form because of a leak from the Spiritual Realm into the Physical, in much the same way that atium forms. (source)

Okay I don't remember seeing this discussed anywhere but I'm going to say this refers to Nazh. I know someone brought up the fact that he used "shadows" as a swear on the map of the Shattered Plains towards the end of WoR.

Investiture across the Cosmere (WoR spoilers)
WeiryWriter replied to darniil's topic in Cosmere Discussion
It wouldn't matter where he burned it he would become mistborn. (There are other things you can do with burning lerasium but becoming mistborn is the default) I don't think being in the Cognitive Realm as opposed to the Physical Realm would have any effect on that. -
As far as we know it will be graphic novels instead of prose novels. And the first book is already written, and he has said the story is good but the quality of the writing isn't up to his standards. In trying to make it a graphic novel, he just has to worry about improving the dialogue.
-
Brandon has mentioned it a couple of times in the last few months, the first mention was during the Waygate Foundation livestream at the end of January. They are currently looking a artist submissions I believe. @Quiver, I'm pretty sure Brandon is the person writing it, I don't really see it being otherwise. Why would he get someone else to write it? All that has to be done is getting the dialogue up-to-snuff I think. Anyway there has been absolutely no mention of someone else doing it.

It is not explicitly stated in the books but it can be deduced from certain clues (and it has been confirmed by WoB). "Zahel" uses numerous color/flower based idioms that don't fit with Roshar, but do fit with Nalthis. He discribes the highstorms as being Invested in his interlude, where he also exhibits life-sense.

The Death Rattle epigraph for chapter 66 of WoK has this attribution:

We have this WoB: (source) There is also the fact that most of the visions (except for the last in WoK) that Dalinar sees were observed by Honor. One of them is the day of Recreance which takes place after the Heralds abandon their post.
