  1. Thanks for posting your theory! But as Numb has pointed out there is already a thread discussing this. I'm going to lock this.
  2. Windy updated the OP with a revised list on March 6, 2014.
  3. I would say that Nightblood would have the exact same feelings about Vasher as always. Brandon has talked a little about how Nightblood is developmentally "stuck" in the mindset he had shortly after his creation. To Nightblood, Shashara will always be alive, etc: (source)
  4. 1) We don't know much about koloss-blooded yet. However a little while back the makers of the Mistborn Adventure Game did an interview about the Alloy of Law supplement coming out this summer and they talked a little bit about them. (I don't remember at what point in the video they talk about them but at about 20:40 they show a picture of a koloss-blooded guy) If I remember correctly koloss-blooded refers to an individual that is a child of koloss but do not have the spikes and that earning their spikes is like a coming of age thing. But anyway, Alloy era koloss aren't the homicidal rage monsters that FE era koloss were, Harmony changed them. 2) There are still kandra because eventually people realized they should probably put the spikes back into the mistwraiths, restoring them to kandra-ness. Both TenSoon and MeLaan are seen or mentioned in Alloy. MeLaan is the woman who gave Wax is Pathist earing, and TenSoon replaces Officer Brettin towards the end of the book. Mistwraiths are essentially people who have a blockage between their cognitive and physical aspects, the spikes help to clear that blockage. The spikes don't so much "give them sentience" as allow them to manifest their inherent sentience.
  5. Yep, it's Hrathen's Seon, (who later ends up being Adien's).
  6. I believe we have WoB that the element is in fact the bead of lerasium. Edit: We do.
  7. Yes, those would count as names.
  8. Nope, though in some ways you are close, but they are not in Stormlight
  9. Excerpt from the Annotations where Brandon talks about Mab: (source)
  10. Gold Feruchemy does heal shardblade wounds: (source) Edit: Ninja'd! Though I did provide the source link...
  11. Brandon has said that the similarities between Kalad and Kaladin are a complete coincidence, there is nothing hidden there. Kaladin is actually named for the herald Kalak, combined with a suffix, i.e. (KALAk) + (-DIN) = KALADIN.
  12. We do have this WoB: (source)
  13. Here is the WoB in question: (source)
  14. I AM SVRAKISS! FEAR ME...
  15. I believe you are refering to Arthur C. Clarke, the science fiction author? Clarke's Third Law is as follows "Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic."
  16. When a listener is born, what form are they in?
  17. You might find this theory to be of interest.
  18. It is sort of a nuance thing, so I don't know how well I can explain it. Also keep in mind this is my interpretation of things. The second just means she feels the same kinds of emotions towards both individuals, i.e. they both make her happy or they both make her frustrated but not necessarily for the same reasons. Whereas the first implies, to me at least, the reasons are also similar. (i.e. the way she is feeling things is the same). Does that make sense?
  19. True, true but the way Brandon phrased it doesn't seem to indicate her feelings are against her will. But I do think gramatically it is important that he said she "feels the same way about the Stormfather" rather than "she feels the same about the Stormfather" since they do indicate slightly different things. Possibly, though I'm inclined to think the spoiler is that Honor is dead. But yeah, there might be something there.
  20. Would Rock consider Lift to be alaii'iku?
  21. I've added the quote to the OP as well. And well, it wasn't quite as clear cut as I remembered it to be and there is definitely room for interpretation. I can see it going both ways, but the other evidence does push me towards the "Stormfather as Cognitive Shadow" interpretation. And yeah, at this point we just need more information.
  22. Honor was still alive when the Heralds abandonded the Oathpact.
  23. The king has multiple sets of plate and blade. And as for Dalinar wining the set of shards, all that is said is that they were given to the king, not that they are the ones he uses. WoR spoilers:
  24. Already been asked. It's a theoretical yes, but Nightblood is already close to being "full" of investiture. Deduction is all well and good, but without WoB we can't say anything is definitively proven beyond a shadow of a doubt. So I'd say ask the question.
