  1. They are Mary Robinette Kowal, Dan Wells, and Howard Tayler. And they along with Brandon are the podcasters of Writing Excuses.
  2. The Dustbringers aren't the only ones who would take him. The Willshapers would be fine with what he did.
  3. I think this would be more relevent in the Words of Radiance forum.
  4. Moving this to the spoiler forum.
  5. Actually Shallan would have no where near Kharbranth at that point. That death rattle is from the first month of the year 1172. Shallan arrives in Kharbranth around halfway through the year 1173.
  6. It does shed some light on Alethi grammar. Like how in french most adjectives* follow the noun, as opposed to preceeding it like in english (i.e. "le livre vert" instead of "the green book") *Of course excluding those adjectives pertaining to "beauty", "age", "goodness", and "size"
  7. Like get or gone. There was some other glyph related information, but I don't remember the specifics. When the video gets posted I'll try to work on a transcription. I wonder if the fact that "H" is a wildcard in the women's script have anything to do with this?
  8. Brandon has confirmed that that is Axies.
  9. She is a Stoneward, her plate glows amber, just like the Stonewards in the Feverstone Keep vision.
  10. Personally, I am in favor of the other man being Kalak. But anyway, has anyone considered the "my lord" being the Almighty himself? He could definitely be considered the leige-lord of the Heralds and the honorblades are most definitiely "his".
  11. There and on the patch. The Vev part is easy, it is just the "X" at the top.
  12. We do have WoB on it: (source) Fun fact kogiopsis asked that question because a close friend of hers, Elise Warren, is in a similar position to Renarin and they noticed similarities between themself and Renarin. Brandon actually consulted with them on Renarin's character for WoR (they are actually mention in the acknowledgements at the begining of the book)
  13. Roshar does not have an axial tilt. Its "seasons" are based off of highstorm activity.
  14. No, Steelheart takes place on Earth, and Earth is not in the cosmere. Any similarity can probably be chalked up to the fact that it is the same author.
  15. If I remember correctly Brandon mentioned a while back that he would like to have Shallan on the cover of Book 3, and so would I for that matter. It would be keeping with the pattern of having the main figure being the focus character of the previous book (if you loop Book 5 to Book 1 that is). I think it would be really cool to have Shallan be on a raft of beads or something in Shadesmar as the cover.
  16. The Stonewards, at least some of them, did abandon their oaths. There were Stonewards among those Radiants who abandoned their Shards in the Feverstone Keep vision.
  17. Ha, you think that is the first how cute. We've had them for years, Shallan/Jasnah and Kaladin/Renarin were the two main ones for a while, but Kaladin/Adolin is gaining popularity.
  18. Just an FYI, in the livestream friday night Isaac said the glyphs for Bridge Four are "Vev Gesheh".
  19. No, there are definitely more than 10 planets in the cosmere. There *are* ten core shardworlds, but then there are numerous minor shardworlds as well (of which we know two).
  20. I really don't think Progression would work on that. Also it is "hundreds of forms" not 100.
  21. Technically Seons are not Splinters. The Aons at the heart of the Seons are the Splinters.
  22. Here is the quote in question: I thought the same thing, however when i listened to the audio it is quite clear he is talking about Ashyn. The questioner actually says something along the lines of "What is the shard of the world of he story you read earlier?" And Brandon read from the The Silence Divine novella.
  23. According to the Surgebinding chart, it is a pale-ish blue. (The order glyphs are all the color of their respective gemstone).
  24. Jezrien is not actually the Stormfather, but modern Vorins don't know what we know and have combined the two in their mythology. It's similar to how people think that the Sword in the Stone is Excalibur when they are actually different swords. It is just a quirk of 4,000 years of history, very little of what they "know" is actually correct.
