The Dominion has a few though, iirc. Upgrade, who can increase the powers of another Epic while in contact. Mundivore, who is.... invulnerable, maybe? I forget. Cogni did one post with him recently. Steetwise can see anything occurring on or near a street. Leech can drain attributes from his "people", like health or strength, and he keeps them near him to do so. They follow willingly. Collaborate becomes stronger and tougher the more people "follow" him. Murphy might be someone's, I think, but he basically has a field of probability warping that breaks things and causes him to avoid death perfectly. Most of these basically became NPCs after their creator left.

Yeah I agree with galendo, I think it was to show that proto-Radiants are appearing in some numbers and that they re being hunted by a monster who is sometimes successful. Just because other assassination attempts have failed, doesn't make proto-Rads immortal, or the Ghostbloods or other groups hunting them incompetent (which they would look like if they didn't kill at least one of them).

The issue is, if we are going say WoKs Roshar vs Final Empire Scadrial, then Roshar doesn't have any Knights Radiant, at least any who really know what they are doing. And given that a mere human swinging a mace or hammer a few times can crack Shardplate, I imagine a single blow from a single Koloss could easily crack the section of Plate it hits. Given that there are at least a hundred thousand Koloss (we shouldn't count the ones Ruin creates, so the 300-500'000 numbers he supplies for the final battle are too high) I don't think any Shardbearer would last long enough to kill more than a few dozen Koloss each. That said, it wouldn't ever be a roflstomp against the Koloss with the numbers of Rosharan soldiers we are dealing with- hundreds and hundreds of thousands. Likely 400 thousand all up, for all of Roshar, and about 80-100 Shardbearers. They could perhaps even kill all the Koloss, if they are sent in first, alone. But the tattered remnants of Roshar's combined armies couldn't withstand the 500'000 Final Empire regulars and hundreds of mistings that would be waiting, drinking tea and ready to finish them off. One thing no-one has mentioned- Roshar should get the Parshendi, since it is world vs world. The Parshendi are at least a hundred thousand strong at their peak, and are stronger than the average human. They would easily crush Final Emprie troops, imo. That said, they wouldn't crush Koloss, although they would certainly stand their ground against them and inflict heavy casualties. Parshendi could probably get a 2:1 kill ratio out of fighting Koloss, instead of the standard 4:1. BUT, if Roshar did get a significant amount of Radiants.... I can see them winning. We can tell from what we've seen how powerful Windrunners like Kaladin and Szeth are. They could easily fly through Koloss lines, sending them flying into the air and crashing back down to their deaths. We can only assume that the other Orders are of similar levels of overpowered-ness. Even so, a quick coin if they were unarmoured could end them, unless they were expecting it.

Nice work Warrior although the frequent change in perspective was a tad confusing. Maybe add elipses or something between the paragraphs that change perspectives?

Sixth of Dusk timeline/ones above Brandon Answers [Maybe spoilers]
Blackhoof replied to ninch's topic in Cosmere Discussion
that seems unlikely though- the tense is all wrong. It would be like saying "Sixth has been killed in a war against the Ones Above". Uh, no he hasn't, not yet at least- 50 replies

New South Wales, Mungo Blackhoof takes grey Bladestorm takes red Katherine looked around, seeing nothing and no-one. Suddenly Jetpack called out from above, and began zooming towards the ground. Then she saw what he had seen- several military-looking types emerging from the bushes, muscled and tough. She was on guard- were these the mercenaries, or nomads, or bandits? This whole area was crawling with them apparently. Jetpack likely had the same thought, and he landed in a burst of dust nearby. He held his hands, deadly weapons, out in front of him, and smiled menacingly. Katherine cleared her throat, raising her hands in a conciliatory manner. “Hello, uh, my name is Katherine Howards, and my companion here is Jetpack. Who might you fine gentlemen be?” 4-7 looked on as they approached the two employers. He assumed that's what they were-no one would come out to this little backwater, built almost entirely in the year since calamities rising without wanting to purchase their services. Of course, they might also be here to kill the pentagon. But that was what the rifles they all shouldered were for. As they walked up, the woman-katherine-offered a greeting, asking who they were. 4-7 stood slightly behind and to the left of 4-1, willing to let him do the negotiating. “Depends who's asking,” replied 4-1, and waited for a reply. Katherine smiled, worried. Surely these are the mercenaries, right? They wouldn’t be so bold in the presence of an Epic if they weren’t professionals at this combat thing, would they? She replied, “Well, we are representatives of…. A potential client for the services of a mercenary group we heard was spotted nearby. Let’s just say that we have a problem with a certain Epic and a group of bandits, a problem we would rather not deal with ourselves. Perhaps, for the right price, this mercenary group could… uh, take them out for us? Of course, that would require you knowing where these guns-for-hire are. Would you happen to know how I can contact them?” 4-7 watched as the woman carefully suggested they weren’t members of the pentagon, but rather a few random bandits. Clever, he thought. That implies that we don’t look efficient enough to be real members, which will make 4-1 more eager for a deal. However, 4-7 knew something the lady didn’t.4-1 wasn’t cunning enough to understand what she had said, aside from the word “price”. “Well, mam, this little group is the mercenaries you're talking about. So why don’t we try to reach an agreement? Katherine smiled and nodded. “Excellent, I had thought as much. Well, we have a great deal to offer. Our master, Wendigo, has an entire city under her control, and its resources at her disposal. I will give you the details of the mission, and you can name your price.” She took a deep breath. “Firstly, you will need to find an Epic by the name of Bushfire. She is a pyrokinetic, but she can change the weather too- she is fond of making large bushfires. We don’t think she will be very dangerous up close, though. Serving her are a gang of raiders- crude bandits and thugs for the most part, fond of dressing in leather like they were from a Mad Max movie. We have seen at least one other Epic in her service- a tough strength Epic named MaxiMuscle.” She rolled her eyes as she pronounced the idiotic name. Epics, eh? She continued. “She shouldn’t be too difficult to track down, her gang tends to move in a path of fire and destruction around western victoria, leaving great piles of ash and dust in their wake. Once you find them, you will need to kill each and every one of them. No prisoners- not even the Epics. Wendigo wants to make an example of them. You will cut off Bushfire’s head, and bring it to the city of Wendigo as proof that you succeeded, and then you will be paid. Now…. what is your price?” 4-7 turned suddenly as he noticed the sound of feet moving rapidly behind him. His fellow pentagons did the same, swinging their rifles up as they noticed the newcomer. Another employer? In the same day? he thought, surprised. It was lucky to get one a week, much less 2 in one day. As the man drew closer, 4-7 realized that it was one of the pentagon, rather than another epic employer. From the looks of it, he was winded, which meant he had likely gone almost double a regular mans sprint for almost the full 40 kilometres from camp. 4-7 could actually see the dust speckled over the grey camo suit from moving so fast. “4-1, SIR,” the soldier shouted, breathless. “THE ORDER TO ATTACK SHARPTON IS IN. ALL UNITS ARE WANTED BACK AT BASE IMMEDIATELY!” “We’ll be right with you, soldier. Mam. we may have to get back to you on this,”replied 4-1, turning to katherine. Katherine’s face fell, and Jetpack looked angry. “Now just wait one minute! I flew all the way to New South goddamn Wales to meet with you guys, and you brush us off like-” Katherine cut him off, “Jetpack, sir, please.” Jetpack scowled, and stormed off. Katherine turned to the mercenary. “Very well, we will return here in one week if we still have need of your services. Good day.” She nodded, and as the mercenaries rushed off back to their base, she strapped herself to a grumbling Jetpack and they flew off.

Shallan's Sketchbook Entry (Spoilers)
Blackhoof commented on glougee's gallery image in Stormlight Archive Art
"Hey guys, you need any help being creepy to this girl?" "We don't need your help" "You sure? I know I can be creepy if I just try-" "Damnit Larry no-one likes you!" Or alternatively..... "You guys need anything? A snack? Some faces?" OR "Hey I'm popping off to Scadrial to pick up some groceries, you guys want anything?" -
It would be the world, but with me as a super-human invincible being that isn't necessarily in charge per say.... but everyone has such respect and adoration for me (for doing lots of heroic stuff) that they do what I want and listen to my advice. I would then unite the world in their love of me, and eliminate every social and political problem on earth with my awesomeness and ability to get people to do what I want. So I'd basically be a dictator in all but name I would be a benevolent dictator ....At first 3:)

Iconoclast and Slaughterine walked briskly down the street, both dressed in plain vanilla clothes with their heads bowed. They looked for all the world exactly like timid humans, on a vacuous errand for their Epic master or mistress. By now they were several blocks from Slaughterine's house, and hopefully beyond pursuit. Slaughterine scowled. "I'm still annoyed at you for making me wear this drab outfit. Who would inflict such a torture on anyone?" Iconoclast smirked and raised an eyebrow. "These are the clothes you make your servants wear." Her scowl deepened. "I meant on anyone important." He chuckled, and grinned evilly. "Don't worry anyway, around me.... people tend to wear lots of red." She looked confused for a second, until realisation set in, and she grimaced. "You know I've never understood the pleasure some Epics take in killing." He winked. "I take my pleasure in bodies my way, you take yours in yours." "At least my hobbies are fun for both parties. Must you be so creepy all the time?" Iconoclast looked up, a gnawed finger in his bloody mouth. It was his own. "Mmpgh What was that sorry?" Slaughterine looked like she couldn't decide whether to laugh or throw up. She recovered in a few seconds, "Stop that! We are trying to be inconspicuous!" "My dear, I live to be inconspicuous." He said as he ripped off one of his hands with a meaty riiip, and threw it into the garden of a house as they passed it. "You are lucky that no-one saw that!" "No, they are lucky they didn't see that." "Your flippancy is infuriating, I'm not a High Epic you know!" He just smiled at that. It wasn't long before they had reached a suitable house- Slaughterine knew it as abandoned. The evening progressed, both Epics mostly keeping to themselves, except when Iconoclast questioned her for more information about the city. Night approached for the pair, and they separated into different rooms for what Iconoclast knew would be a night of troubles and fear. He dreaded it, but sometimes... sometimes it felt good to see her again. Even in a nightmare. And so he was surprised when Slaughterine walked into his room, and slowly shut the door behind her, a small smile on her lips. Iconoclast raised an eyebrow. "May I.... help you?" "Don't worry about what you, can do for me, Mr Clast. Ask me what I can do for you...." With that, she slowly walked towards him. Her hips swayed seductively, and her void grew husky. Iconoclast smiled, walking to meet her. She placed a hand tenderly on his chest, leaning in close. A smile still on his face, he gripped her wrist in an iron grasp, causing her to gasp in surprise. "Do you think," He began, still smiling. "That anything you could do tonight will make me less likely to kill you?" "I-I-uh, I just thought that-" "That you would seduce me? That you would get in my good graces, manipulate me, make yourself more valuable somehow?" "I... I just wanted to-" His smile vanished. "Wanted to what?" Slaughterine shrank backwards, quivering with fear. "N-nothing.... I wanted nothing." The fake smile returned. "Excellent. Now be a dear, and get out." He shoved her backwards, causing her to stumble. Eyes wide with fear at the loathing and anger in his voice, Slaughterine didn't look back as she fled, closing the door behind her. Iconoclast grimaced. Internal voices warred within. Why not sleep with her? He thought. Don't I deserve it? I've done such good work these past few days. But another voice, another feeling, stopped him. A feeling he should have abandoned long ago, a feeling he rarely remembered or felt. A longing for a love lost, a woman he could never see again. Except in nightmares.

Comatose: To defend Chasm a bit, I think the vanilla's response makes sense. Given that they had just seen Chasmfiend slaughter a hundred or so people and ghouls, and there still might be more ghouls running around, and they are shocked and terrified at these inexplicable rage cannibals attacking them, I think seeking the protection of an Epic makes sense. And how do you get an Epic on your side? Pledge loyalty to it. Then Chasm can protect them from any more ghouls and is less likely to kill them in return, at least until the security arrives.
