  1. Good, thanks for taking our advice on board :)
  2. it seems pointless to limit her, and then just give her an item that removes that limitation plus, it sounds impossible within the canon of the world. Don't worry, we don't kill characters without permission.
  3. I thinks its a super interesting idea, but it would create a whole team of Epics that are absurdly op. The Astorian Epics are already powerful enough on their own, but together? Why wouldn't they have already conquered the earth?
  4. On the subject of archer chalklings- I would assume ranged chalklings are impossible, as they would have been mentioned/seen if they were possible. I'd suggest that since you'd need to draw a whole quiver of arrows, complete ones, and the archer would be limited by the amount of arrows you drawn, it might not be worth it. It'd run out after 6 or so shots.
  5. Given how much time Rithmatists spend practising, it isn't unreasonable to think that they spend a lot of time learning how to draw quick chalklings. Really quick. There are real-life artists that can draw detailed sketches insanely quickly.
  6. Well it could easily be both- the Vigor hits the Line, deals damage, and THEN deflects.
  7. yeah. I'd go with a Quota post.
  8. hmmm yeah, I might write something for Astoria. I'd like more in-game time to pass before I write for Corpsemaker again
  9. I've gotten a bit slack with the RP lately.... anyone know what i need to do, and where?
  10. I'll have to look for these clues on my next Warbreaker re-read
  11. I can only imagine WoR increased sales of Warbreaker. It included Nightblood, and if any Sanderfan went online and saw that this weird black sword had been in a previous book, they would at the very least consider reading it.
  12. I can take over Timeport, and once his scene is finished he can move to basically a background NPC soldier for Corpsemaker.
  13. Granted. However, celery now tastes like poop to you. I wish for free, fast WiFi wherever I go
  14. Granted, you have possession of them in perfect condition. Your bane is that they are inexplicably written in a mysterious dead language with no way of deciphering them. I wish for sharks with fricken lasers on their heads.
  15. I think it is more that any Herald has to break under torture, not go mad. The first time one gives up, they are all sent back. That's why there has been such a long gap between desolations this time- Taln was such a tank that he endured torture for 4500 years, so long that he went mad, whereas the weaker Healds usually only last a few hundred years before giving out. Well given Nalen's actions, that certainly seems likely. The Heralds have started going insane, and their goals and motivations at this point are up in the air. I think many have a strong sense of guilt for what they did and leaving Taln. But surely there must be some of the nine left that still care about humanity enough to fight for them.
  16. I'm a bit confused that you call him a human, but he has Epic powers hahaha I'll echo Twi that no nation would really have been seen as being better off when Epics started attacking. Sure some nations would have fallen more quickly than others but by that point planes were probably all grounded. Who would fly with Epics rampaging through the skies?
  17. I'm thinking the idea of a war in the cognitive realm is plausible. But then, we know that the Vorins are wrong about where the Heralds went, maybe the whole war in heaven is just a way to rationalize the disappearance of the Heralds? Or perhaps, the war is a hopeful misinterpretation, and in reality people are just trapped in the cognitive?
  18. It seems like a strange choice of vision for Honor to give, since most people would have died before even meeting the Radiant and seeing anything but the Essence. Perhaps Honor knew/hoped that whoever received the visions was a capable enough warrior to survive?
  19. And why wouldn't Odium abuse the rust out of it if Shards can do time-travel? Or Ruin, for that matter? Or any of the Shards that have goals.
  20. Actual timetravel, no matter for how short or who the "warging" victim is, has never been seen before in the Cosmere, that we know of. The idea that Honor, and therefore all Shards, can enable people to timehop? That's massive! I'd say its more like an animus, than actually altering the past.
  21. But what do you mean by "elemental powers"? Like, fire/water/air/earth elements? So an Epic that can control all four elements and gift the powers? Hmm metabolism boosting sounds interesting. Relatively weak, but an interesting power certainly. Unique too. I have no issues with it.
  22. Well one of the reasons that Eshonai allows stormform to be tested is because she sees the humans use Surgebindings. Perhaps other desolations were triggered in similar ways? But, if that were the case, why is Nalan not hunting down 'binders on the Shattered Plains where they could come into contact with the Parshendi? Surely he knows what they are, or could be? Why not try to wipe out the Parshmen, or the Parshendi, if he is so set on preventing another desolation? His actions and motives confuse me.
  23. I don't believe metabolism boosting or elemental gifting have been used, but I'm not too sure what either of those two are. Could you please elaborate on those two powers?
