  1. Yeah I haven't seen B vs S, and i probably won't. DC just isn't holding up, and I have no interest in seeing a movie that I know I won't enjoy. Superman bores me anyway aha
  2. I don't really read comics, except the odd few. So no I'm not up to date. But i watch the superhero movies! Marvel ones at least
  3. We learn that Abraham was an ex-serviceman in the Canadian special forces, and his team was killed by Powder, don't we? Isn't that the mysterious past? Or is there more?
  4. We don't just tolerate you, you are great Cog
  5. It occurred to me, on the subject of Astoria and the caverns underneath, that the Adventurer and Lockvault already have a underground base, don't they? perhaps a monster attack is in order to make things a bit more exciting
  6. That sounds like a fascinating idea! Quite fun, too
  7. cool, although at the moment the Black Hand is pretty disorganized and I'm not sure Max wants to lead it anymore since the latest post when a whole mob of people were slaughtered by Electro. He still wants revenge but I think he was put off leading an open rebellion.
  8. I can help just off the top of my head The three major ones: Empire of Light: lead by Lightwards, aiming to conquer Portland and then the world and turn it into an undead paradise Prominent members: Doctor Funtimes, Nighthound, Saccharine, Purple Phoenix The Dominion: lead by Corpsemaker, aims to conquer the state of Oregon Prominent members: Electro, Timeport, Upgrade, Toymaker Thoughttown: lead by Altermind, aims to secure their dominance of Thoughttown and protect themselves from the other factions Prominent members: Sightline, Voidgaze, Aldo Smaller ones: The Black Hand (?): sort of lead by Max, aims to overthrow Epics Prominent members: Gordon, the Reckoners Minor Epic Empire: lead by Zip, aims to conquer Portland Prominent members: Mad Ballooner.... + others
  9. i think yes! Night's Kobold? Kobold's Sorrow? RP's Sorrow (cause we miss you and we sad ) Night's King? ( oh no game of thrones!)
  10. Laserbolt would adore her, Quakezone would be flattered but pretend he wasn't, and Foundry would melt her as a useless distraction
  11. I feel like Szeth has gotten a sort of practice with the Honorblade powers that no other Truthless have gotten for a long time. Otherwise, stories of powerful, mysterious Shin assassins would be more common I feel.
  12. and as well to introduce Nightblood- and entire book for the backstory for a sword and a grumpy immortal
  13. ahhh ok, my bad, all these secret societies confuse me
  14. Do we know how long ago the Diagram was drawn? Could be that it was decades and decades ago, enabling him to become secretly rich and powerful over time, and establish his network of spies and establish the Ghostbloods. It does seem very suspect to me. I completely fail to see how any of what he is doing could be good. If he plans to unite the world, certainly a noble cause, it seems unlikely that the Taravangian that the world knows would be able to do it. And even if he does, what is the good of uniting the world if it has already been torn apart by civil war? Jah Keved, one of the strongest militant nations on Roshar, has been devastated. How many tens of thousands died that could have fought the Voidbringers? And if the Everstorm transforms the Parshmen into the Voidbringers, and the True Desolation has begun, then Taravangian has chulled the pooch big time. He destablizes the world just before the apocalypse begins! It seems to me that, unless what I can gather from the end of Words of Radiance has mislead me, the True Desolation has just begun, and the Diagram has lead the world into chaos and failed already. If Cultivation sent it purposefully as part of a new plan, then she has also chulled the pooch massively, and if Odium influenced or sent it... then well good on him, the sneaky git.
  15. I'd argue that Dalinar all the time and Kaladin by the end of WoR are Lawful Good. Kaladin has to follow the oaths- that is the definition of lawful good. When he goes against them he eventually realises that what he was doing was wrong and ALL life was worth saving.
  16. If he is surviving, maybe a recount of that museum fight from his perspective would be interesting?
  17. I think he never expected her to escape tbh, and her doing so surprised him immensely. I think he either was planning to rescue her with the armies of the Veil, or simply sacrifice her entirely in order to secure an alliance with the Boltons. Likely, he planned for both outcomes, to play both sides.
  18. i never really formed solid mental images of them
  19. And if Svrakiss are anything like the stories - spirits that hated Jaddeth and could possess people, then they are likely voidspren/Odium related too.
  20. Victoria, Day 7: Bushfire "M'lady, ish that really a wishe plan?" Escape Artist lisped, bowing before Bushfire. She scowled, and threw a gout of flame at his side, causing him to yelp and jump backwards. MaxiMuscle, big, goofy grin on his dumb, blocky face, laughed. Bushfire quietened him with a glare. "This plan," she began, "is genius. We will send another raiding party out tomorrow, and this time capture as many of her workers as possible. We could use the slaves, and it will anger her beyond reason, she will have to come out and face us!" Escape Artist cringed. "But m'lady, she ish invincible, she can't be killed! We should just leave here and stop antagonizing her. She is so powerful, you remember Shepparten!" Indeed, Bushfire did remember. After hearing that the town had been destroyed, she had gone there nearly a year ago. The entire city had been a ruin, unlike any she had seen. The town had been buried in ice and snow, houses and cars crushed under the weight and many pulverized by giant hailstones. The town had become a tomb. But after Wendigo had left, and in the warm spring weather, the snow had melted quickly. The ruins of the town had been flooded as torrents of water flowed through the streets, causing even more destruction. It was in this state that months afterwards, Bushfire had inspected it, to see for herself the power that blotted out central Victoria with cold. Bushfire's scowled deepened. "I demand loyalty and obedience from my servants. No questions, no doubts! If I say that my plan will result in me being the dominant power in Victoria's center, then that is what it will do!" Escape Artist cringed beneath her rage, and his ropes began curling around him protectively. Her temper began deflating as she considered her future success. She smiled. "And besides, I have a trick up my sleeve." MaxiMuscle leaned forward, flexing his great arms. "Is it me?" Bushfire raised an eyebrow, and gave him a withering glare. "No, it isn't you. You both already know it, in fact.... I just haven't explained it yet." She left them looking confused, as she walked to her personal caravan. "Yes, I have a trick in store for you indeed, Wendigo." She thought to herself as she closed the door behind her and smiled. "I know your weakness."
  21. Well it makes sense that the Skaize are "evil Seons", because they are splinters of a shard whose Intent is purely dominating everything, without context or human personality. Skai likely moderated his shard, and his love and relationship with Aona likely helped contain the negative extremes of Dominion. But with Skai dead, pure bits of sentient power trying to dominate things (in this case Fjordell) would make them fairly evil, relative to Seons at least. That said, their physical description is fairly evil too. Perhaps they are infected with Odium's power too? Hims splintering Dominion left a bit of his power behind, and the Skaze became tinged with Hate? Unlikely, but interesting
  22. Perhaps a Lerasium-atium alloy would turn you into a Seer that can permanently see the future, with no atium burning needed? Or inserts a complete roadmap of the future into your brain?
  23. Indeed, endless possibilities. We see some of these creations in Shadows of Self.
  24. And he is without Vivenna, last seen adventuring together. Likely, something bad happened to her. Maybe after that he grew disgusted with living on Breath and moved to Roshar permanently? How far before SA is Warbreaker?
  25. Seems to me like it drains innate investiture- like Allomancers Elantrians just have an access to outside sources. Awakeners have the power already in them. I think the Elantrian would need an aon that continually draws forth power to feed Nightblood. Maybe have to continually draw Aons to make it work. Same with an Allomancer- they'd need to keep burning metals and the power would go into NB without manifesting Allomantic effects.
