What's your favorite.... ? (Forum game)
DanTheSeamonster replied to Kestrel's topic in Forum Games & Random Stuff
My family and I once rented a very large vehicle, pointed it Northwards (more or less) and then stepped on the gas. Nine hours later we were in the Amish country in Pennsylvania. We ate a lot of really tasty food. It was awesome. What's your favorite magic system? -
Interesting things about yourself?

I love Fantasy. Especially 90's Fantasy. I adore 90's Fantasy. I have read every single Louis L'Amour book, and North to the Rails and To the Far Blue Mountains are my favorite. I'm 90% sure that Sevro is my favorite character in the history of ever. My eyes are brown around the pupils, green in the middle and then blue around the edges. Kind of like a weird rainbow. I have never broken a bone. *Knocks on wood* I enjoy the sound of nails on a chalk board. Poseidon is my favorite Greek god, and Anubis is my favorite Egyptian god. My ancestor was a pirate and privateer in Jean Lafitte's crew. For some reason, both of my index fingers and both of my pinkie fingers curve inward towards my hand. So whenever I point at something with my index finger, I end up pointing at the ground. I've taken to pointing with all four fingers or my index and middle fingers. Okay I think that's enough. Edit: Oh! I'm also a huge history buff! Okay I'm done for real this time. -
......I watched the first episode of 24, then haven't touched it since.... sorry, I'm just not a big TV show guy. Although I could watch YouTube for hours! Back on topic, I would probably write a gut wrenching, heart throbbing, edge of your seats epic fantasy trilogy that is perfect in every shape, form and fashion. Also fly to Pluto and back, cuz why not? Edit: On second thought, make that Neptune 'cause, well, Neptune.

I'm technically still getting my Associates Degree. But afterwards I want to Major in English! Hopefully with something to do with editing. It'd be awesome to get paid to read books.

Mmm cream soda. Yummy. On a side note, I'm back! Although to be fair I was 'back' on Saturday and I've just had malfunctioning interwebs since then. Curse you, technical difficulties!

Heirs to the Final Empire: Roleplaying Thread

Fortis looked out upon his skaa. They worked the fields below him quickly and efficiently. Fortis turned to the servant waiting at his side. "Look at them, Verrulen. What do you see?" "I see a bunch of slaves, sire." Came the reply. "Yes," Fortis agreed. "But you must admit that they are effective slaves." "Must I, sire?" He turned back to the fields. "Indeed you must, Verrulen. Indeed you must. Arrange to have our craftsmen expand their quarters." Verrulen spluttered. "But sire! Those . . . creatures may get the wrong idea! They may see your kindness as . . . as weakness!" "Indeed they may, but that is when our taskmasters and if need be, our guards step in. I am willing to take the risk if it inspires them to work harder. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go spend some time with my wife." In the Sixth of the Dusk area, everyone is given their very own Aviar and a machete. There are also tree houses scattered around the park, so if you hack through enough vines you might find one. The tree houses also have Aviar chicks in them. In the Elantris area, you can design your own stamps to take home. In the Legion area, there is a gun range where you can find J.C. blasting rounds into silhouette targets. Their's also a live video feed of Stan the astronaut in his satellite.

Would you rather have to stay in the home you're in now for the rest of your life, or have to move to a different home every three months? -
Tacos or burritos? Hot dogs or hamburgers? Honey mustard or ranch dressing? Left or right? Star Wars or Star Trek?

Favorite G.I. Joe character?

I really enjoy Mercedes Lackey's stuff, and I haven't seen her mentioned on her very much. I would recommend starting with the trilogy she wrote with James Mallory, The Obsidian Mountain. The series has two magic systems that I like a lot.
