  1. Hooray! Social outings! I went to a Civil War (the American one) reenactment today! It was loud and fun. They had a really cool parrot gun, and buddy those things are huge. I also know how to fire a canon now! Fear me.
  2. MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. FINALLY MY PLAN IS SET INTO MOTION!!
  3. Ohhhh great. Don't you remember that an image of an angel takes on the characteristics of an angel?!? Everyone turn off your computers and go grab some eyedrops!
  4. I think a witch tried tried to kill me in my dream last night, but I'm not entirely certain. It could have just been an ugly dude wearing a wig.
  5. The Jackal from Red Rising!! Ohhhhhh I hate that guy! Someone please throw him into a pit. Full of snakes. In a volcano. On the sun. Please, I beg of you.
  6. Ohhhhh yes. I'm definitely a major fan of sic-fi, humor and historical fiction as well! I just love fantasy so, so much.
  7. Well in the long run, every book depends on the reader's tastes. There are just some books that happen to appeal to more readers than to others.
  8. IT'S ALIVE! IT'S ALIIIVVEEEEEEEEE!!! But yeah I completely understand what you mean. I practically hard to force myself to read LotR. But for whatever reason, I adored (and still do) The Hobbit. It just has a completely different vibe for me.
  9. When you and your brother have entire conversations that no one else understands.
  10. I'm not going to include Brandon in my list. *Dodges rotten tomato.* Scandalous, I know, but he did ask for authors besides Brandon sooooo. 1. Pierce Brown. I cannot express my love for Sevro enough! 2. Andy Weir. Holy crap The Martian was good. C. Scott Lynch. Have you read The Lies of Locke Lamora? No? Go do that. This post isn't going anywhere. %.Mercede Lackey. She helped jumpstart my love for fantasy, so she holds a special place in my heart. E. Brent Weeks. I read the Night Angel trilogy in about 3 hours. (Exaggeration? Maybe. Are his books good? Most assuredly.) F/6. Peter V. Brett. Demons, magic, violence! What's not to love?? $. Patrick Rothfuss. Just like Mr. Brett, but without the demons. It's still quite good. 111. Jim Butcher. Specifically the Codex Alera. Just like Brett's Demon Cycle, but with Romans instead of Demons. (I'm beginning to notice a trend.) Nueve. Louis L'Amour. When my grandfather passed away, I inherited his extensive collection of L'Amour novels. Since then I've expanded said collection, and whenever I get and/or read a new one I get the fuzzies. It's quite nice. Omega. J.K. Rowling. There's a reason that everyone loves her stuff. P.S. My list is also in no particular order. Well, except for Pierce Brown. Red Rising is bae. A few bonuses. Anthony Ryan, Bernard Cornwell, Erin Morgenstern and Brian McClellan all of whom I've liked what I read, but that I've only read one book by them. P.S.S. Sorry for the randomness, but it's 2:43 a.m. so I think I'm entitled to be acting a little strange.
  11. Bastille. All of the Bastille. On repeat. For hours on end. It's glorious.
  12. To be perfectly honest, I'm not a huge fan of Eshonai. 'Specially Stormform Eshonai. I keep having this recurring dream. I'm in a new library/bookstore, just browsing. 'Cuz you know, books. By the end of the dream, I've picked up an armful of books that I just can't wait to read, and I know that I'll love them. In some iterations of the dream I only find one book but its the perfect book, the one I've been searching high and low for. Then I wake up, realization sets in and my heart breaks a little.
  13. Mmmmm Chicken Alfredo. Roughly on the same note, favorite pasta dish?
  14. At the local Wally World, they sell piggy banks made to look like Pinky Pie, Rainbow Dash and Twilight Sparkles. I almost got the Pinky Pie one for a friend, but then I changed my mind and got one for myself instead. And that, folks, is the story of how I came to own a TARDIS piggy bank! I'm such a great friend.
  15. Why don't Egyptian crocodiles believe anything they hear? They're always in da Nile.
  16. Irish. Favorite American accent? Eg. Southern, Midwest, etc.
  17. I don't wear watches. They get in my way and on my nerves and stuff. Also I'm an uncle!
  18. I'm a ninja. Sorry Twi! Blurry Face by 21 Pilots. Also Wrong Direction by Passenger. Favorite co-op board game?
  19. Probably Love Letter! Although Dutch Blitz and Avalon are loads of fun too. Edit: Oh, and Coup also. Favorite defector style board game?
