    Retribution might still dig up past crimes and use them against our protagonists. He did it very effectively against Jasnah in this book.

    Poor Oroden will grow up where everyone idolises his lost older brother. Gavinor will need some deprogramming from his fun time with Odium. Will Jasnah be able to talk to him? Would that help her reevaluate her world views? Isn't Skar still in Azimir? How will he and/or Drehy get to Uruthiro with no stormlight (a lot of walking and climbing through enemy territory) Will Sylphrena inherit the mantle of accepting radiant oaths?

    Is she now The Stormqueen? Upon the Heralds evetual return to Roshar, will she be able to grant stormlight?

    Is it wrong that I find El quite likeable here? But I am very very worried about Sigzil now.

    I recall that Dalinar still has one more connected being that could be deployed to look for him - Gallant the rhyshadium. Adolin keeps reminding the readers that the horse still exists, and we just saw him float happily in shadesmar amongst glorious ephemeral equispren. What about the spiritual realm? Horses are probably superbeings in the spiritual realm.

    Lift. We just learned that lift has a bit of a crush on Sigzil. A.K.A. "The Sunlit Man". A man known to have, at a time in his past (sometime in this coming book?), held a Dawnshard. You've got me worried now. Is it Monday yet?

    Good grief. Chicken soup for the Radiant Soul. I'm almost afraid to find out how bad Kaladin's cooking skills are.

    What was Vasher doing on day 1 then? Is he still somewhere in the Tower? Has he left? Will Kaladin ever meet him again or was their conversation at the beginning of ROW their last one?

    Snap. I remembered. The beginning of Oathbringer, when Kaladin arrives at Hearthstone, ‘The Wind’ has always been there. Now I think ‘The Wind’ is somehow speaking to Kaladin through Syl (she never confirms she actually hears the voice).

    “I need your help, I’m so sorry… to ask more of you…” The word more here bugs me. It implies that “The Wind” or whoever’s talking has asked something of Kaladin before.

    Plot armor? Who needs plot armor when you have personal control over gravity and forces that adhere things together, not to mention a close loving relationship with the Wind? He doesn’t have to style his hair, just think at it to go in the right direction. Bad hair days? Not happening to a windrunner.

    So, for my latest horror theory, lets combine this with the corrupted Shardplate idea. A new kind of fused: Instead of possessing merely the body of a parsh-person, El tried to place his ‘self’ into a human. One of our beloved knight radiants. The resulting being managed to retain something of both personalities, but is mad and twisted. Which radiant? *Gives a suspicious side-eye to that Z*

    Thank you Nameless and Shallan Stormblessed. I would also be rather unhappy if Kal were to die in book 5. That may be an understatement. Maybe quite a large understatement. Since he’s headed to Shinovar, I’m still rooting for him to get his own puppy sometime in this book.

    Sample chapter about Kal? Can you link to it please? Or just give a subtle hint? *extreme puppy-dog eyes deployed*

    Could it be Tanavast? The WOB about him I read said he was dead-dead as of the beginning of WOK. Maybe a bit of him was still sticking around in Kaladin’s flashback time, and guiding Syl to her future knight.

    In ROW, in her interlude chapter, Hesina reveals that she came from a town in Alethkar called Tomat and reminisces about her father.

    Is it possible that in addition to the uneven geographic distribution, some people personally attract more spren than others? Something to do with charisma, perhaps.

    Spren might have bonded people before the official Radiant orders were founded. In one of Dalinar’s visions in WOK, young Nohadon wishes that all Spren would be as choosy as Honorspren (thanks for the fix, Frustration)

    Do we know if the personalities of Spren are always consistent, or if they change to reflect the person they bond?

    Deep personal truths? My guess he just had to admit out loud, to himself and a spren, that what Zahel said about him at the beginning of ROW is quite true. At least some of the time. Bonus points if he then had to try to explain to Design why some words are considered vulgar.

    Keep on Writing Kaladin’s Off-World Tour [some] Kind of Wonderful IDK about this Knight of Woeful Truths. What would be the in-world book, Szeth’s [auto]biography? What in-world readership would that book be written for?

    Hugs from a koloss?! Run away!!! Anyway, what is really irksome about Lirin is his smug air of moral superiority. He seems really sure that he knows better than everyone else what is right and what is wrong.

    Ok, so if you are reading the threads in this sub forum, you probably read all of ROW. Spoilers and such follow. Now that Navani is bonded to the sibling, can she ever move any physical distance away from Urithiru? Is she stuck in the tower for life? Can the sibling itself move at all? How far outside Urithiru does its influence extend?
