"It's a phenomenon where two realms clash together. I've only seen it on Kaldheim but there's no reason it couldn't happen elsewhere if there are sub-dimensions close to each other. I wish I had studied them more, but the Skelle are notoriously xenophobic."
xinoehp512 he/him Posted February 11, 2021 Posted February 11, 2021 Rotcennoc walked up to the edge of the rift. It had grown slightly since he had seen it last, though only by an inch or so. It was definitely of the Void; that he was certain of. And yet, it didn't seem like the Void he was used to... He picked up a stick and cautiously pushed it partway into the void, then pulled it out. Alarmingly, the end of the stick was simply gone- only a slight puff of black smoke remained. Probably best not to fall in, then.

Each pebble vanished as it passed threw the tear. A few that skirted the edge clattered to the floor, the parts that had touched the rip completely gone.
