Several dozen heavily armed men, clad from head to toe tactical gear that was colored in a pattern similar to the ground surrounded them, had backed away from the cave entrance until they were over a hundred meters away. Far behind the men, barely visible on the horizon, one could see a groups dotting the area, creating a parameter around the area that the cave was in. Then, just as the men were stopping their backward movement and settling in to the area in a defensive formation, a low rumbling could be heard in the distance, the only reason that it stood out from the regular ambiance is that it grew in volume and intensity, getting louder slowly at first, but with each passing second it intensified quicker. Soon the very rocks and ground began to tremble, as several pinpricks on the horizon came into greater detail to reveal twelve aircraft speeding through the air towards the cave.

At the sound of the aircraft, Jaxothe starts to walk a good deal faster, looking behind himself worriedly.

Kaesiel grimaced at the craft. “I’m not particularly sure what those are, but they seem to be hostile and headed our way.”
