I will say, when I came out to parents, I was super embarrassed about the way I did it, and even now still cringe about it. (No I'm not telling you, it wasn't anything weird)

 

I don't regret a thing. Even if I was so scared and embarrassed, it made everything so much better in the long run, having done it so early.

I'm not saying you have to or should, but you won't ever stop being scared until you finally do it.

Aww thanks. I'll tell you this much: When I decided to come out, I told my parents that I would tell them something important on Friday. When Friday came, I was scared out of my mind, but they were expecting me, so I went and said it. Maybe think about what you wanna say beforehand too. 

 

Like I've been saying, it's not the end of the world if it's cringe. Hell, I'd bet more comings out are cringe than non-cringe, or at least like >30%.

 

By the way, I chose to come out fully (to everyone) once summer vacation started. That way, I didn't have to deal with everyone at school. 

 

Just do what works for you, but also don't let fear stop you from doing what's best for you.
