Hi jjreeder, thanks for posting! I removed a few duplicate topics. Make sure you don't hit "Submit" more than once though I know sometimes it takes some amount of time for the thing to actually post. It's kinda weird.

My favorite Shards would be Ruin or Odium, to be honest. I mean, who hasn't wanted to be destructive when you're angry? :P

I kind of like Cultivation she seems like the most wholesome shard we have met so far.

The problem here is we haven't seen very much of many of the shards. We've only really had any significant amount of screentime with Ruin, Odium, and Harmony. Honor's got a couple of scenes, but not much (though if you count the Stormfather as Honor, then there's a lot more to work with there), Preservation has the problem that we never see him when he's lucid, because in Secret History we only see him when he's dying so he's not exactly stable personality wise, we had one scene of Cultivation, and any others we've only seen through letters and descriptions by Khriss and WoB.

To answer the question, it's Harmony easily just because he was a main character in Era 1. Though I will say I have immense intrigue in Autonomy.

I would want to be either cultivation or endowment. They seem the least restricting shards.

But my favorite shard?

It's close between Ruin and Odium, like chaos said.

Cultivation had a ton of potential, but it goes mostly unused. A lot of the shards are like that actually. They never create sentient life, and for the most part no new life at all. They just kind of go with what was there. Except Ruin and Preservation, but for Flora and Fauna they based it off of, you guessed it: WHAT WAS ON OTHER PLANETS

So Shards as we've seen have been largely wasted.

But Ruin and Odium both are shards that don't have any benefit from creating, and are completely badchullSo I really like both of them.

I love Harmony, but I feel like that’s a cop out.  After him is Cultivation and Endowment.  Autonomy is interesting, but needs more screen time.  I also think Devotion and Dominion were probably very interesting before Odium got to them.

I like Cultivation, cause I'm pretty sure she's up to something really awesome that's going to make my brain explode when we find out the whole story.

Apologies for the duplicates Chaos!!!

My favorite is definitely Odium. The fact that he's basically pure emotion, along with the pure epic-fashion of his name... Every time I hear it, I feel goosebumps run along my skin.

Ruin. The concept of having ”ending” as a villain in the concluding part of a series is just so brilliant. And I also liked his personality, and I’m intrigued by the fact that he was a good person once.

Also, Bavadin for being mysterious and probably incredibly cool. I suspect that she will be the most dangerous Shard.

I've always been a fan of Harmony and Honor.  I've been a martial artist for a huge chunk of my life and those two shards really resonate (no pun intended) with that.  I love the balance that Harmony provides, keeping you walking the path between Ruin and Preservation, destroying and saving.  I love Honor because I often feel that keeping our words/oaths is what makes us better people.  Not necessarily some of the traditional ideas of honor where like you'd fight someone to defend your honor, but how you honor your word, or honor your friends and loved ones

I really like Harmony. Mostly for who holds the Shard, but also because we get to see how an individual changes when they hold a Shard for a long time.

Won't that be eventually true for all 16 shards?

My favorite might be Devotion or Cultivation. Just the motives of both the shards (basing this off the fact of the WoB saying that Devotion=Love) is really appealing to me. With Devotion, I t’s nice to think that there’s at least one world where a god isn’t evil/corrupt/etc., but maybe one where there’s a benevolent being watching over everyone. As for Cultivation, I also love the idea of growth, and of change, becoming someone better than you once were, which I think is Cultivation’s true intent. But that’s just me:D

The Dor for sure.

Love me, or I will enslave you. Lol

That's Odium on crack.

Or love me and I will enslave you.

As a character to read in a scene I like Odium the best. He has delicious villain dialogue.

"You've seen me have you? ... Curious."      "Taravangian, is it? Little man."

Cultivation would be the most rewarding shard to hold in the long run.

Sazed s my favorite Vessel.  Cultivation is probably my preferred Shardic Intent.  If including those not fully confirmed, Ingenuity is wildly interesting to me.
