The audience cheered loudly when she appeared.

Kimaya Rune does not simply walk onto a stage; she manifests within the spotlight’s center as if she had been standing there since the theater was built, waiting for the world to finally notice her.

As the roar of the crowd washes over her, Kimaya remains perfectly still, her sharp, asymmetrical bob framing a face of cool, marble-like composure. She doesn't offer a wide, theatrical grin. Instead, she performs a slow, deliberate flourish with her right hand, catching the light against the silver silk lining of her midnight-blue tailcoat.

Between her fingers, the High Priestess Coin appears, dances across her knuckles with hypnotic fluidly, and then—with a sharp flick—vanishes into thin air.

"Come closer. Closer still. Because the closer you look, the less you actually see," she says, her voice carrying a calm, melodic weight that cuts through the fading cheers. She begins to pace the stage, her boots making absolutely no sound against the floorboards—a silent predator in high-fashion utility.

"You are all here because you want to be deceived," she continues, her gaze sweeping the front row, practicing a subtle Cold Reading on the most affluent members of the audience. "You want to believe that the world is more than just math and gravity. And tonight, I am happy to prove you right."

She reaches into the air, and a single card from her Ever-Deck snaps into existence between her index and middle fingers. It hums with a faint, invested silver glow.

"But remember," she adds, a cryptic, knowing smirk finally tugging at the corner of her mouth. "The most dangerous illusions aren't the ones I show you. They are the ones you tell yourselves."

“It is my pleasure.” Rebus smiled. “If you would, dispatch a servant of yours - Mischief would be well suited to the quarry, though perhaps not the task - to bring the man I seek to me, alive. I can provide help, of course, but some interactions are difficult for metaphysical reasons.”

Ah. Mischief. Mischief is suited to quite a few tasks. By all means.

Mischief then appeared, for some reason swinging the leg of a table and hissing

The crowd goes absolutely ballistic. Someone shouts from the back of the crowd, asking her to marry them.

"Whoa. Now that's a bit forward don't you think? Aren't you already married?" she asks the person.

"Honestly, how does your wife feel about that?"

"Kid, you were literally there when I was made. I obviously hate Rirrom for that, but I am no more real than your weapon, persay."

Unnamed eyed the barkeep. "What is this for?"

The barkeep ignores you.

In fact, the barkeep seems inable to see you.

The woman held an arm up, and her hand clutched a detonator. She pressed the button, staring patrons of the tavern in the eyes. "When I let go  of this trigger, this building will explode. So you need to do as I suggest, or..."

Yeah

In TLT, you can have any powers and can do anything you want.

You might have a muffin cannon and shoot muffins at the lady.

uhmmm

uhhhh

Lily pulls a Shallan and manifests a Lightweaving of herself, but with a sword. The Lightweaving Lily with the sword moves to stab it through the woman's gut, while the real Lily rushes up to grab the controller/hold the button down.

@KaladinsSenseOfHumourSpren, cuz this is relevant.

The woman gasps at the illusory sword, then looks at the hand. She snarled, and her eyes began to glow.

”Insignificant,” she spat, grabbing her hand. The controller was crushed under the pressure.

fight back! If you want.

So, there are a few types of characters. Most characters are either Characters (a set of powers you decide, or no powers), or Narrators, who completely break the fourth wall and have near unlimited power. Can do anything, unless others like them stop them.

Choose! A Narrator would just kill her like you said.

Do people normally have a Narrator and then side Characters?

Yeah

Or they have a main character that defies Narrators

Or they have Enullers, which are able to cancel any magic or energy. Usually Enullers are a bit more complicated, I would talk to @NameIess if you want to do that.

If you’re ever curious, you can check out http://thelongestthread.fandom.com, which is a wiki for that and then a bunch o characters.

People normally have 1 Narrator, and other characters. I wouldn't say they're side characters, though. I would say that Unintelligible and Malevolence (non Narrators) are more main characters than my Narrator Subversion right now.
