It had worked for Star, but this was something else entirely, this… this was an Author-induced state, he’d probably wake from it in a moment. But… what if he didn’t? SoT pushed back her hair, taking a deep breath. “Okay,” she whispered. She started to lean forward…. And immediately pulled back. Nope. No way. Not in a million years. Nope. Nope, nope, nope. “C’mon, Xino, you stubborn oaf,” she said firmly, “wake up!” 1
