It had all started when the Riddlemakers took Nin's sandwich.

Nin had shrugged and made another one, but his newest apprentice had vowed vengeance upon the thieves.

I hope this isn’t a crossover…

This apprentice was also the son of the old man who named the Rainbow Rocks, this gave him two reasons to fight the Riddlemakers.

To accomplish his vow, Nin’s newest apprentice began training three times as hard, so that he’d be ready to claim the ultimate ninja weapon.

That being, the power of conveniently placed buckets, and suddenly pineapples.

However, Nin was loath to teach his students the secrets to harnessing these mighty weapons, as it gave them a tendency to die on vengeance quests for some reason.

This is why Nin gave every one of his apprentices a personal therapist.

Unfortunately, this specific apprentice (who's name was Mim) got a therapist who was a Riddlemaker in disguise.

After killing this therapist in a fit of rage, Mim snuck into Nin's secret techniques storehouse in an attempt to learn to use the ultimate ninja weapons on his own.

Little did the newcomer know, he was doomed to perish at Mim’s hands if the vengeance quest was allowed to continue.

This was because Mim had incredibly awful aim when it came to shurikens and was likely to hit any nearby bystanders.

So if the newcomer wanted to survive, someone would have to teach Mim to throw shurikens better.

It was with this intent that an old, wizened Ghanderflaffle appeared on Mim's doorstep.

Mim wasn’t in the mood to listen to the wize ghanderflaffle. (Young folks rarely are)

So Mim tried to throw shurikens at the old man, but missed horribly and hit the newcomer.

Suddenly, Nerdy teleported onto the scene holding the Plotblade of Drama.

"Hey, Mim! Care to duel?"

[NameIess]

Mim (who was one autocorrect away from being called Mom) laughed at Nerdy’s challenge. “I am apprenticed under the greatest ninja this world has ever known! I will fight you, but our duel shall be swift indeed.”

Mim throws another shuriken at Nerdy, but misses, then he draws his swords.

One of the swords was chipped, and the other was rather rusty. Mim wasn't very good at taking care of his equipment.

 Neithher was he any good at wielding these blades, his mentor had only taught him for two weeks.

He had also trained him wrong, as a joke.

Non thought it would be funny to teach Mim to wax inside and outside, not on and off. This is how his poor skills came to be.

(Non was the back-alley teacher that Mim had been taking lessons from due to his impatience with Nin's much slower teaching methods)
