He'd actually started to see the group as friends. As he started dashing towards the bowl to grab as much food as possible and feed it to as many starving people as possible, he felt, for the first time in his life, a hint of genuine regret.

Nin considered Steven for some time, before eventually coming to a realization; Steven was cursed. Exactly what the curse did, he couldn't tell. But it likely had something to do with Steven's constantly evil nature.

He found nothing except for a name. Adreus the Spellbound, a notoriously evil mage with a penchant for casting irreversible curses.

And so, as it was constantly within the confines of TLT, the previous quest was abandoned.

And a new quest begun: Nin, Nin's Apprentice, Steven, and That One Elephant Who's Name Everyone Forgot set out to try to find Adreus the Spellbound and reverse the irreversible curse.

The first part of their quest was to escape from the Eizards who were still trying to make them complete the Second Trial.

Nin replied in the negative, saying that although he had once trained under Nale, he was in fact a Legendary Ninja, not a Herald of the Almighty. Additionally, he apologized for the confusion, but informed Bookwyrm that he was not, in fact, a member of the party. He was merely here to set his apprentice on the correct path, before allowing him to follow it on his own feet.

Including Steven…he’d come so far, and then he’d relapsed…the guilt began to well up inside of him, the result of countless vicious looks from party members.

”I’M SORRRY! I’LL DO ANYTHING TO MAKE IT BETTER!” he cried, immediately realizing his mistake.
