511. Memorize all the rules on this list, so that you can follow them all perfectly.

512. If any rules on this list are repeated, that means they're doubly important. Ignore them at your own peril.

511 f. If someone of great importance *cough cough Aslan cough cough* tells you to memorize something and gives you a specific way to do so, LISTEN TO THEM AND MEMORIZE IT. That knowledge will be of great importance to you and make your life and/or quest a great deal easier.

Edit: Actually this should technically be rule 513.

Sorry.

511 g. This rule isn't a rule, but an apology, for adding so many rules as footnotes to rule 511. We're sorry, and will eventually get back on track.

511 h. Always remember that authors need to include at least 1 plot twist per book, so expect one of these rules (that you've memorized, right?) to be wrong at least once a month, probably closer to once a week.

513. Always remember to take note of seemingly inconspicuous objects or stories that are told to you or noticed early in your adventure, they will almost certainly be very relevant later.

It's technically a rule, not an addition to one or a qualifier.

No, that falls out under 511 just fine. It’s memory related.

Does that mean all the rules that say "Don't be (insert occupation here). See Rule 6." should be nested under Rule 6, "Don't be a messenger, bad things happen to messengers"?

There are lots of related rules that are separate, not nested under each other.

You posted it as 511f, directly under 511e, on the same general topic (memorizing important stuff) as the rest of the sub rules.

Originally, yes. However, I looked at it again shortly afterward and decided that it should be it's own rule.

515. It's not a utopia. It's never a utopia.

515a. If everyone claims that it's a utopia, then the govt. is actually corrupt and will kill you for no apparent reason.

515b. If you fall victim to 514a, your only hope is to either fake your own death and appear in the climax, or join the shadowy cabal that everyone whispers about and vilifies, but actually is composed entirely of good guys.
