So it looks like there'll be no telling the difference between a ChayShan kill and an Eliminator's. At least, not visibly. I'm guessing that of the two, Straw's killer was a villager, and thus Ecth's was the Eliminators. I'm trying to figure out why he would be their first target though. My initial guess would be because there wouldn't be much to read into the death that might reveal them. Can anybody who had a PM with Ecth, or received third party information regarding him, summarize it for the thread?

Also, what the storms, Merchants :( I was really disappointed to see that no votes were negated. I severely doubt there's not a single one of you out there, and now I have no way of knowing. Pretty much everyone should have saw my pleading. I suppose ya'll could be inactive but there aren't very many (Ant, Elbereth and Elodin are the only two that I don't think saw it in time). So yeah. I'm definitely sad.

Speaking of, did Ecth claim Noble to anyone? And if so, who did he say he was going to vote for in his PM? I mean, he's obviously innocent so, either he was the only one who voted at all (and chose Burnt, by why?) or two other "Nobles" picked Burnt to overrule him. What I don't get is why, regardless of their alignment, they didn't put their vote on me like I asked. I mean, I get it. I can't and shouldn't control everything, but my plans for the votes were harmless and would have got us a lot of information without putting any specific players at risk.

Anyway, I'm a bit sad that people didn't try to get some lynch discussion going since we knew this turn would be shortened. I would have said something myself but thanks to an anonymous Legionnaire I was arrested. I really need to go to bed because I have to wake up for work in 5ish hours, but I just wanted to bring up these things first. Also, Mailliw. I agree wholeheartedly in this scenario that we should have a tie between him and a player we are actually suspicious of. I personally feel extremely uncomfortable about voting for him myself, but someone's got to start it, I guess. @Mailliw73 if you are a Jester like we talked about, please, please, pleaseee do not choose me.

I'm a noble. The vote on Burnt was me, based off the suggestion a person I'm in a pm with because I'm way too trusting. I personal don't have much of a read on Burnt, and the fact that she got the vote leads me to believe I may be the only noble. My advisor gave me the name of another person who's claiming . Burnt getting the vote makes me doubt the validity of this claim. To test it, I will pm Arraenae the identity of my noble vote, as she has not yet given me a reason not to trust her.

I gotta say this Legionnaire thing is overrated after being locked up for 24 hours

It still freaked me out a bit seeing my name in red :P

I know I signed up for this game specifically to lynch Maill, but I'm fairly sure he's a Jester and if I vote for him, he'll kill me. I'm, like, 98.6% sure that's what's going to happen if I vote for him and I'm right about his role. Soooo, yeah. I'll probably come up with a satirical essay tomorrow to send him off, but it won't contain my own vote. For now, I'm voting on Emerald.

Come on. Take a risk. I swear to you that I am not a Jester. My win condition is not to die or to be lynched. I do not get a kill after I die.

Well, it's Maill's last game. If I die from lynching him, so be it. Maill, I'll miss you. Have a great time on mission, and please, do come back in two years!

See now no-one has to worry about voting for Mailliw, he'll obviously kill Orlok :P

Well, saw that one coming. I would prefer to lynch Elenion today. A lot of the discussion was focused on him yesterday, and it would greatly reduce our eliminator targets if he was evil. Of course, there might be another team out there, but it would still be a good place to start.

This is off to me. You come across very sure of what the result of Straw's death would be, but had nothing to say before he was lynched. As for Len, yes there was a fair bit of discussion about him yesterday, but basically all of that was over a new player not knowing the meta of SE. Once he proposed his suicide lynch plan for information, it was shot down because not much info could/would be gained by his death. As to the part about reducing eliminators, well that's really just a throw away statement that could be applied to any lynch.

Basically this looks to me like an attempt to reignite a bandwagon with no new information, and get away with a free lynch.

@OrlokTsubodai I mentioned a reason yesterday to vote for Emerald, namely that Emerald hopped on a bandwagon in a way that made it look like they were, in a sense, searching for a valid reason to join said bandwagon, so they could use it as a defense later.

I believe Wilson also mentioned a reason or two in her long post, so go back and read that from D1 for more.

I....really don't think Mailliw is a Jester, so my ceremonial vote goes to him.

@Mailliw73, you so thoroughly trolled me and sucked me dry of info in my first game that all I wanted was to learn how to do that. And now you've helped me do that. The circle is complete. I am the Master now. I'll miss our little talks and you. :)

Mailliw - my first meeting of you was Shard Zero. The only thing I can say about that is - I'm glad we were on the same side. I'll be sad to see you go, and I look forward to your ceremonial return lynch in a couple years. :P

(Of course, you're probably going to tell me that you find this post deeply suspicious and that you're certain I'm an Eliminator because of it. :P Such is life. Good luck.)

Well that was tragic... but given how little information we have not all that surprising.  I am going to go with the Emerald vote, it's mostly gut based off of his posts on D1 (since there was no discussion yesterday at all :P ) but if we are shooting for a tie since the Maill lynch is ceremonial I would like to tie it with Emerald.

Fair well Maill, I've only played a few games with you but they have been interesting and fun and enough to get me hooked, you will be missed! Safe travels and enjoy your time away!

Not gonna lie, but if I was an eliminator I'd love what's going on right now.

Why because you wouldn't have to fear the lynch? Or because people are not focusing too much on discussion because of the ceremonial lynch?

Well, I guess I need to speak up a little bit, so that people can get a read on me. (I need to catch up to Mailliw's fatality rate, haha)

Anyways, I find it odd that so many players are willing to vote on Emerald. I find this particularly off for @little wilson, who usually seems to think things through a little more than that. Now, after I post this I am going to go reread Day 1, but there is rarely anything that is worth such an immediate bandwagon. (Okay, I actually went through some of Emerald's more recent posts, and while I found them unhelpful, I didn't see them as suspicious either)

I'm gonna vote on Elbereth right now, because it seems to me like her post set the direction for our secondary lynch today.

If I am remembering correctly, because I didn't go back and re-read, I remember a few people pointing out Emerald as suspicious on D1 and I felt somewhat suspicious but not enough to lynch at the time.. I had made a note to myself that unless I saw something to change my mind or point me more strongly elsewhere I was going to vote for Emerald today (because I knew enough people would vote for Maill already).  I had decided this for myself ahead of time despite other people also voting for Emerald but seeing a few others do the same I considered that a sign that I might be on to something.

@Emerald101 anything to say about the votes on you?

I mentioned being suspicious of Emerald during D1, and while I didn't vote for him, that suspicion grew. Particularly after he shot me a PM detailing exactly how helpful he's been, and why he shouldn't be viewed as suspicious. He then ended it with a question: What else can I do?

To me, this reads exactly like an eliminator who doesn't have much experience being an eliminator panicking about an accusation, so one of their teammates tells them to PM me to explain what they've done and why. Only problem is that a PM like that doesn't lessen my suspicion of a person. While a villager could make a PM like that, an eliminator has far more reason to. Thus, my suspicion of Emerald has merely grown and now I'd like to figure out his alignment through death. I'm almost certain that alignment will be of the red variety.

Vote Tally

Maill (5): Aman, Orlok, Lopen, Kipper, Bard

Emerald (3): Wilson, Conquestor, Jaime

Elenion (2): Sart, Ren

Elbereth (1): Araris

We still have the Noble vote and at least one Duke to take into account, as well, if we want to end up with this vote as a tie.

One thing I note is that while Elenion sort of promised to be less aggressive after being voted on Day 1, he’s been much less aggressive now, something I see as someone who wants to try and fade into the background after a close lynch.  But if you’re a Citizen, how is that possibly going to benefit us, even if you are just attempting to survive?

Maybe he was excited after (I presume) his victory in the MR, and hoped to ride off of that.

Or maybe he was even more excited because he was an eliminator as well! Making him way too aggressive.

Maybe he just needed to calm down :P

Maybe he's the Dula.

Maybe it's Maybelline.

I'll miss you too, Kipper. Your first game I thought you were a cocky little chull. I'm so glad I got to know you and can completely revise that opinion of you. I wish you luck as the master of information while I am gone.

not this time.

So, just saying, but I haven't seen anyone talk much about the deaths of 2 people :P

Araris, I voted on someone that was suspicous because of of what was said during day one.(I went back and read a little bit) I also respect Wilson's vote, because of what he's done during LG 22.(I believe) He got the most powerful eliminator because she brought up first day lynches! That was actually the reason I didn't vote for her.

Part of it is that I'm very active in my church and so have over 5 hours of church meetings on Sunday. What remaining time I had was mostly spent in PMs, since everyone and their dog seems to have suddenly taken an interest in my role.

But yes, I'm trying to be less aggressive in order to make the game more fun for the other participants.

@STINK You were right about MR15 and being way too into this game.

Business time. Since the Len-is-an-Elim club seems to be active (as usual), it's about time I put another vote on Emerald, for the "glorious cause" of saving my own skin.
