If you checked your notes, you'd possibly work it out. I misreported what my elevations had been, when talking to Araris in thread. I didn't feel like making it too easy for people in general to guess what I had studied.

 I expected that I'd be coming up eventually - I'd not been contacted by Wonko or had it declared in thread that I had been scanned - but there was still a good half a dozen players still to be scanned.

 So I let Wonko know that I had done so, in case you were scanning me that cycle. I also suggested that given you knew I had a public lie, you could get your analyst to scan me, and as they'd not know I had lied, you could use that to help verify the fact that the analyst was indeed an analyst (the existence of the counter-analysis hadn't appeared in thread yet).

Also all quite true.

 

So I didn't have that good a reason to do so, but I didn't think it'd be that important if I let Wonko know. 

Not true. I lied on purpose so that I had a reasonable excuse to not get scanned. 

 

Oh, and with the votes, given Burnt put two complaints on Wonko, that would have added 1 DP, which admitedly isn't a great deal, but would be enough to bump him up to the next tier, potentially.

Well, that's true. Not quite the whole story, but...

 

I mostly voted on Kipper for RP reasons, truth be told. But at that point in the game, it didn't matter so much.

I think my reason for focusing on Stink over Mail was I thought there would more likely be a Vintish on the skindancers. I'm not sure if I'd put both an Aturan and a Vintish on the same team though... so I'm not sure about that. 

Well, if I were a student, I would have focused on Stink. My thoughts on roledistribution are true enough. I may have focused on Stink because he had too much money...

 

 I quite think I'd have been a fair bit more suspicious of the analyst if I'd know it was Burnt. 

I did actually know that Burnt was the analyst. Had I been a student, I would have been more suspicious though.

 

And while I may have defended her their, I did bring up the question of verifying the analyst a few times as well

We'd not yet found any skindancers. 

Well, Burnt certainly hadn't reported any yet. If you'd scanned Burnt the turn of her death, you would actually have got the result that she was not lying. True Fact!

 

At least in AG2 I could scan roles, so it would have been a lot harder to fake being a scanner (although, guessing Smoker would have likely done the job just fine...). With this, there's a good chance that most players are telling the truth in thread, so you could feasibly just say they said the truth and not have the player come out and so 'No, but I lied!' 

 

I had noticed your suspicion, yes... but it makes sense. I'd find me suspicious too, I think, if I were in your shoes.

@Lopen: I wouldn't have thought you could redirect DP anyway. It's not an action that takes up an action periods, at least.

And with redirects, does Elb have any? She at the very least has vote manipulation powers, but I don't know how many of her elevations were R/L. 

Well technically, I should have known Elb didn't. But I hadn't checked our notes yet. So technically a lie? I had been told what her raises were and what abilities she had.

Well, if there were a way of de-elevating yourself in a way that let you get re-elevated, I may have considered it. But I'd not have given her the ability. 

 

Well, if you cracked and then broke out, you'd return to Re'lar and lose an ability... The problem would be that you could no longer get elevated...

As far as players who are students, I think it's safe to say that the fact that Mailliw and Burnt got Wonko, Stink, and Joe, expelled basically clears them of being skindancers, unless we're sure there's only one left and all the non-expelled non-insane living players have actually been cleared. I think I'd also be surprised if you, Lopen, were a skindancer. I assume we're actually trusting firemuffin is a Student Analyst? Seems plausible. He's also been attacked a few times, right? Not that any of this clears him. It'd be a clever plan if the skindancers got themselves two analysts, and got one of them removed from the game after being around for awhile. I'd be happy to accept Clanky as a Student regardless, however. It'd surprise me if the skindancers had more than 1 nobleman, and Mail already fulfils that role. We've not seen much in the way of items from the skindancers, methinks. Unless they've stockpiled a number of grams, and that sorta thing.

Pretty sure this is all true...

 

So the people I'd be unsure of would be Danosaur, Araris, Elbereth, and at a pinch, Muffin. I'll need to go back over the previous cycles to say any further. But that'd probably be my order of suspicions.

Yeah, my first elevation was Arithmetic. Lopen knows this, and I believe I told Wonko immediately after my first elevation. So that's old news. I think I even told Wonko what ability I got.

Being an eliminator with my sister was pretty great, yeah. It's nice being able to comment on stuff rather than being quiet as I don't know what side she's on.

I'm definitely looking forward to reading the Skindancer doc. I always enjoy reading the eliminator docs, but between you, Burnt, Mailliw and DeathClutch(though I'm not sure how active of a planner/talker he is in docs since this was his first eliminator game right?), I think it will be a very entertaining read. Also, depending on if you have another member and WHO that member might be, that could add some more interesting stuff. 

 

Hael, didn't you say you got the pickpocket ability? I'm pretty sure he wouldn't lie about that. It's easy enough to confirm, since if you target him with an Action, he'll rob you.

Okay, so it seems that Danosaur is a Student! I targeted him with Fae Lore, and he attempted to pickpocket me. Which means that Fae Lore did not block him, clearing him. Wilson told me that if I targeted a Skindancer with Fae Lore, and they used an Action, I would receive a message that says "you used Fae Lore on [target] and roleblocked their Actions." (< not the exact message, but close enough) If I target a Student who uses an Action, it will just say "you targeted [target] and it had no effect." 

 

I only just now revealed that because Wilson hadn't realized I'd targeted Danosaur and so hadn't given me the message that I'd been pickpocketed.

 

I used Fae Lore on FireMuffin as well and it had no effect. So assuming he used an Action(probable), he is also cleared! Which means that I'm really not sure if there is another Skindancer and if there IS, I have no idea who it could be. Maybe Dowanx? He was expelled by DeathClutch's vote on him though, and he was voting on DeathClutch at the time.

VERY IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT:

 

I made a mistake over the last rollover, and I've spent the last about 15 hours talking to Hael and the other Skindancers to see what to do. If they wanted to continue forward or change things. Hael wants to run with what should've happened rather than continuing.

 

What this means is that the results of last turn are a little different. Here are those results (I'll edit these into the writeup post):

 

Amari (Araris Valerian) was brought on the Horns and charged with Conduct Unbecoming. He has been expelled.

Varda Elentari (Elbereth) was brought on the Horns and charged with Conduct Unbecoming. She has also been expelled.

 

Someone protected someone.

 

I will be extending this turn by 24 hours to compensate for this change.

Yes, but that doesn't exactly clear things up.

 

What changed was that "Haelbarde escaped" my roleblock on him, and I was attacked, but protected by my Bodyguard(RIP). So now I have no protection and am unsure if I can even rolelbock Hael. Great.

 

From what I can see, and Wilson told me that there's an item that blocks player commanded roleblocks, Hael must have a Gram. Or a Tenaculum. I'm not really sure. I'm checking on stuff right now. Hm.
