Orlion Blight he/him Posted January 21, 2016 Posted January 21, 2016 And my mom is airing her opinions again. Please, somebody distract me. You could also expose said opinions to the Shard for ridicule!
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted January 21, 2016 Posted January 21, 2016 You could also expose said opinions to the Shard for ridicule! This one is kind of crude, so I don't know if I'd want to post it. Others are pretty theology-heavy, involving debates over obscure concepts that I'm beginning to see as kind of pointless, so it'd wind up being a five-paragraph post for one opinion.

Well, she sounds like a pinko commie sympathizer! (Yes, I know she is probably the exact opposite, but it's more fun to use McCarthyisms )

Delightful Posted January 21, 2016 Posted January 21, 2016 Australian politicians have some good insults too. "Listening to you talk is more boring than being flogged with a wet lettuce". 2

Well that depends. Iceberg lettuce is never exciting, but getting flogged with wet Romaine lettuce? You have not experienced life until you've been flogged with wet Romaine lettuce! 1

Kaymyth she/her Posted January 21, 2016 Posted January 21, 2016 Oh...oh, gods. My brain. But I can't not read it! Augh!
Silverblade5 he/him Posted January 21, 2016 Posted January 21, 2016 So, after some thinking, I've decided I'm either a ravenpuff, a raverin, a slytherclaw, or a hufflclaw. Still need help deciding for sure though.

Or put another way, would you leave a friend on the road to saving the world, or would you derail your quest to find that friend? Edited January 21, 2016 by TwiLyghtSansSparkles

Or put another way, would you leave a friend on the road to saving the world, or would you derail your quest to find that friend? I'd leave that friend if those were the only options. Not many friends, but very close to the ones I have. Hard for me to act if I don't know exactly what I'm doing. If someone is threatening me, my friends, or the people I care about, I'd personally make sure that they stop, or that they're incapable of doing it again. Patient, but when I snap, I really snap.
Zathoth Posted January 21, 2016 Author Posted January 21, 2016 Spent way too long making a cards against humanity deck filled with inside jokes about my internet friends. Havent even tried it out yet...

Then I think that puts you closer to Gryffindor and Ravenclaw, the two idealist Houses, but you probably have a very strong Slytherin secondary, what with your devotion to people you care about. Now, do you see truth as something you know instinctively, or as something that you find?

Sort of like a math formula

The Honor Spren she/her Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 Hufflepaverindorclaw. It''s called Divergent.
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 (edited) It''s called Divergent. Ugh. I thought Tris Prior's Hogwarts letter was "lost in the mail." Edited January 22, 2016 by TwiLyghtSansSparkles
The Invested Beard Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 It''s called Divergent. I know next to nothing about that series and I'd like to keep it that way.
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 I know next to nothing about that series and I'd like to keep it that way. Here's all you need to know: Good call. 1
Citadel16 he/him Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 amen to the antidivergents you know whats almost as bad? the fifth wave I mean I understand that some people like that series but you have to realize that writing in present tense is not proper english. and for petes sake, this is the apocolypse! its not time to make out with people who you barely know!
Delightful Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 Present tense *is* proper English. The rest I can't comment on because I haven't read it. I have been watching The 100 which is great.
